Excellent Service

Very useful payment tool for a fair charge. Good customer service, with almost instant email replies, plus a small token of compensation when one of my payments did not arrive on time.

Billhop provides an excellent service.

I have used Billhop on two occasions and would not hesitate to do so again. I am particularly grateful to Giada, who managed to recall a payment (after I had entered the incorrect sort code and sent it to the wrong account!) which was then refunded to me in full. I would definitely recommend Billhop.

Billhop seems to be the only sensible…

Billhop seems to be the only sensible solution that debits your card and credits your suppliers bank accounts without them having to have merchant facilities. The team have been very helpful with special thanks to Giada.

Very easy to use.

Very easy to use.

Billhop is a doddle to set up and is very clear from the start about fees and timescales for sending payments. Not had any issues at all.

Good service

Good service. Quick and easy to use. Helped us with cash flow whilst at the same time, offsetting some the cost with points from our Amex card. Would use again.

Terrible! Just terrible!

Dictatorship website. I have been with them for nearly 1 year. They then start asking for invoices to prove they are real payments. So I upload these. Someone in the company decided they were not good enough, and they have said I can't use the platform anymore. However, I believe they wanted me out because when I joined I was on a very good pay rate. A rate that isn't around anymore. So clearly, getting me off that rate and closing my account down was the only way. Anyway, when you speak to customer service, although it is a real person, she responds like a bot. I work day in and day out for startups, feel free to check out my website and agency. Billhop is something I could have easily encouraged people to use. Instead they want me to have a terrible time, which I will share instead.
The good out of all of this, was that I was paying out money to be on BillHop, so at least I am making a monthly saving again. "My money is not good enough for BillHop!"

I really like bill hop

I really like bill hop. It allows me manage my cash flow. I'd love if you could pay bills in 2 business days rather than 4, but that's just being picky. It's great.

waist of time

waist of time

I was only able to pay one bill with them after that any other bill I try to pay was declined because AmEx want allow them to proceed payment and takes something like a week to proceed payment

Useful service, but too SLOW

Yes, it's a useful service to pay tradesmen and the like with Amex (or indeed any credit card), and thus get points and/or reach a spending target.

But, it's slow (four to five days), and the charges are high (2.95%).

Perhaps if they had some kind of sliding scale on charges along the lines of the more you use the service, the less you pay, I might use it more often, but as it stands it's really only for one-off type payments.

Billhop is fantastic

Billhop is fantastic. I've used it a number of times and it has ironed out paying of a number of bills that I was worried about in terms of the right credit card to use, or in the case of HMRC the fact I wasn't able to pay a tax bill on a zero interest credit card at all... until I used Billhop.

Seems to be a great useful service

Seems to be a great useful service .
I do wish the payments at times could be a little quicker than the 5 days but hey ho .
The fee is acceptable as much as I wish was a little less but all in all a very convenient service on offer that helps me also rack up points with my card provider being Amex and credit scoring I’m sure as it’s against a charge card I ha e and not credit card so I’ll pay my actual bill in 56 days if I time it right .

Good idea, could be a lot better

On my very first transaction they asked for my passport information, I fully understand that this is needed to make a payment however my issue is they should have gotten this information before I requested to make a payment to insure a smooth transaction, as their service doesn’t use the faster payments service and it can take 3-4 working days for payment to reach your payees.
My second issue is that they appear to make up rules as you go along, I pay my rent for example direct to my landlords account, however I cannot pay bills in the same way, as I live in a shared house we need to do this, I can understand money laundering but again we should be made aware

The service is poor and needs a lot of work!
