Fast, quick and secure with a REALLY good web site to get the job done.

Allows a small business to pay bills to supplier via their Amex card. You can cover the fees of Bill Hop from early payment discounts from suppliers (i actually make a small profit). The main benefit is you benefit from the upto 54 days payment credit from Amex + Amex Points.

I first heard about Billhop on a website head for points. A little bit of researching and I decided to give it go.

At first I was sceptical so transferred a small amount to see if it actually worked only £1 for a food bill.

To my amusement it actually did.

I ordered my Amex gold and transferred my rent last week. 4days later money in the landlord’s account. 😄

I’m halfway already on hitting my £2000 mark and getting my bonus reward points.

Great idea pay anything you want with any card don’t know about Diners though and the amount is in the account holders account in 4 days.

Ok takes 4days which would be nice if they did it sooner maybe in time can only hope that changes. Service fee is set at 2.95% a little high hopefully they decrease that and not increase.

But it works and does what it’s meant to do.

Very happy with the service. Good communication I received a email as soon as the money was transferred and rang my landlord to confirm and it was there.

I do recommend it to people to give it go. Easy way to get Avios or reward points for bills you via bank transfer where you normally wouldn’t.

I would be using this more and more often.

So good! Great way to manage payments and cashflow in general for our business. And looking forward to spending all those lovely points. :)

Almost impossible to register an account due to extremely flakey website that cant match even simple addresses. Need to fall back on emailing documents to get accounts set up manually

Takes an incredible 4 days to send a payment.

Everything on trust with no fallback or protection. Billhop are a just like western union in that there no real protection, no repercussions or section 75 credit card cover.

Fees are a bit high for this slow method of unprotected payment. If it was faster payment and had proper buyer protection, it might be worth it

But, if you can get through the website issues and are willing to accept the risk when using them, it does seem to work.

After . four .. long .... days ....

Profession services, helpful and responsive - while very serious about the regulation and compliance.

If you need the service for whatever reason, it is worth paying the small extra commission.

Love Billhop! I use it all the time for both work and business accounts. Very handy to process payments from one single app and helps you make the best from your credit cards. Also, really great customer support very helpful, knowledgeable and accessible, which is very rare for payment apps.
Greater integration and automation features and I'd be using it for all my payments! One of my favourite apps

There is no ability to put extra information:

ex: I want to pay Rent/bill/ etc reoccuring payment to a company that accepts regular payments often from many sources- with no name attached or possiblity to add name and account number this causes problems.

Obviously it could be good for other things... but being called "BIllhop" implies that it might ease an already stressful time with money. Alas not exactly.

I do like Billhop and have used them on various occasions when paying builders. I would use them much more if their rates were a bit lower.

What an excellent service this is - very simple to set up and simple to process payments etc. with a concise website to see all your records and transaction.

Great payment service for business purposes. Administrations are so late technology wise.

Great service, prompt payment within a couple days, excellent customer support, no phone queues, no indian call centre, I think their office is in Sweden or someone in Europe. Pretty good service, very impressive indeed offering a real alternative to using AMEX to cover monthly bills and rent!

Great idea. Means I can pay any bill/expense on my Amex & get loyalty points on purchases I couldn't otherwise. Highly recommend.

Very useful service with helpful and polite staff who respond quickly to any queries.

It's a good service and is useful for making purchases on a card which would otherwise not be possible, however their charges are very high so it's often prohibitively expense which limits how useful it can be.
