Excellent Products Great Quality Super Fast Delivery

I'm assuming all the St Marcus SA stores that come up on Google are under the same ownership. My order came from the warehouse and there isn't anywhere to write a Google review on my terrible experience, so here goes...
I bought in bulk to meet the pricey £75 minimum spend for free delivery. Sadly upon receiving my products they were all expiring within 3 - 7 weeks. One item didn't even have a best before date. I wrote on the notes of my order to please pick longer lasting expiry dates.
I understand that this is not always possible, but they did call me to tell me a product wasn't in stock, so surely on this call they could have addressed my order note and I could have decided on the call if I preferred to cancel my order.

I also returned some medicinal tasting products and 2 samples of the opened ones. Bear in mind, not only I tasted the strange tastes - my family and friends did too. I was only refunded for the sealed bags, and they didn't reimburse the delivery cost as promised. I have reached out to them multiple times on the sales email, and they just ignore you if you're not making a purchase. I mentioned this on another review and was replied to publicly to contact them via the email address I was already using. I did that, and still ignored. The delivery cost was the same if I had or hadn't included the 2 opened items as I paid for a pre-established weight.

Never purchasing from them again. Atrocious customer service, communication and product shelf life. I have since found an SA store that stocks much better quality products and who don't need a minimum spend for delivery, plus delivery is much quicker.

The products are received in excellent condition and great quality. Exactly what we have in South Africa. So nostalgic and perfect to give non Saffas a taste of our home

The delivery was prompt and still frozen, droe wors is perfect, if the boerie is up to the normal standard, then all good. keep returning for more.

90% of the order was perfect, the cheese sausages were not great, I understand they won't always be like the picture on the website, but these were very different to the picture, small, over processed and not nearly as good as the ones purchased in the past, bit disappointed.

Have been buying Biltong St Marcus for years. Have tried many brands and, to my taste, St Marcus' products are by far the best - taste, texture, range of flavours - the lot.

The only trouble is, once you've started a bag you simply cannot stop.

St Marcus Biltong deserves every one of its five stars – their droewors is simply outstanding: rich in flavour, perfectly spiced, and so moreish that it’s impossible to stop at just one piece. I'm a tubby bugger and can quite easily smash 4-5 sticks in one go.

The droewors is consistently excellent – not too dry, not too oily, but with just the right snap when you bite into it. That level of consistency is rare, and it’s what makes them a cut above many others in the market.

There’s no gristle or unnecessary fat, just lean, flavourful beef that’s been dried to perfection. It’s a snack that feels indulgent yet wholesome, high in protein and deeply satisfying. As part of a keto diet, these really help with avoiding sweets and carbs, and i can still get my intake of bloody good protein.

Service and presentation add to the experience. Orders arrive promptly, well packaged, and with the reassuring sense that this is a company that takes pride in what it delivers. I just ordered over £100 of droewors, before noon, and it arrived the next day by RM, just in time for the weekend! There’s nothing flashy or gimmicky about it – just honest, traditional food made exceptionally well.

In short, St Marcus droewors is the kind of product that earns loyalty. Once you’ve tried it, it’s hard to imagine going anywhere else. It’s not just a snack; it’s a reminder of how good simple, well-made food can be when tradition and quality are respected.
