Terrible company

Terrible company.
Delivered damaged tredmill. Took 2 weeks for them to initially get back to me and a further month for refund. I had to pay £40 non refundable fee to get my money back. Unethical practices for return of damaged goods and against consumer rights act. Reported to trading standards. Wowcher also said merchant responsible for return costs. Include them in all your emails

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

Purchased a Hurricane X3 Spin Bike through Living Social/ Wowcher. This bike is very poor quality and not fit for purpose. Parts don't fit properly. Only been on it twice and the pedal fell off each time. Second time the whole bike toppled over onto me. Instructions for use are a joke. Not sure what planet you need to be from to understand them!

Don’t buy from this company

I ordered a Hurricane spin bike on Wowcher, then saw the reviews about Bing Bang Bosh. I cancelled the order within one day. Tried emailing both Wowcher and Bing Bang Bosh, phoning both (waste of time) and used WhatsApp, which seemed the most successful (as long as you were able to respond at the time the messages came through). I also used the Resolver website and Cititzens Advice. I finally got a full refund.
This is what I got from C A

We understand from your email you are looking to cancel an order made with Bingbangbosh for an exercise bike after you have seen reviews about the quality of the item; you would like advice in regards to this.

Your rights and obligations:

When a consumer enters into a contract with a trader by means of a distance communication (telephone, internet, mail order etc.) without any prior face to face negotiations or at a place away from the trader's usual business premises i.e you and the trader agree to the contract in your home, they will generally have cancellation rights under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.

These regulations came into effect on 13th June 2014 and the 14 day cancellation or ‘cooling off period’ starts the day after you have received the goods. If the trader has failed to provide you with these cancellation rights in a durable form (email, post, text message etc.) they would be in breach of these regulations and your cancellation period would extend to 12 months and 14 days. Please can you confirm whether you received this information?

Please note the ‘onus’ or burden of proof would be on you to prove that the contract was cancelled, you could consider obtaining proof of postage. Providing the goods are posted within the first 14 days, you would be within your cancellation period. After the trader has received the returned goods, any refund should be provided within 14 days and via the same payment method.

As you have not yet received the item you are not yet within your cooling off period. It might be worth reading through any terms and conditions provided to establish when the contract is formed i.e. whether it is when payment is made or when the items are dispatched. If the contract has not yet been formed then you would not be in breach of contract should you choose to cancel the order.

As you’ve paid by credit card and the contract value is over £100 and less than £30,000, you can hold your credit card company equally and jointly liable under section 75 of the Consumer Credit Act.
We would recommend that you contact your credit card company as soon as possible to make a claim under section 75.

Your next steps:

We would suggest that you contact the trader and request a copy of their formal complaints procedure and follow this. If the trader does not have a complaints procedure, we recommend you send a letter outlining the reasons for your complaint.

We would suggest setting a reasonable deadline for a response, keeping a copy of any correspondence for your records and sending any letters by recorded delivery; that way the mail will be tracked and signed for.

Template letters can be found at Citizens advice website

As part of your complaint we would recommend you ask the trader if they are a member of an Alternative Dispute Resolution scheme (ADR) or, if they’re not, would they be willing to use a non-membership based scheme.

ADR schemes are independent bodies that offer services such as arbitration or mediation if your complaint is still unresolved after following the trader’s complaints process.

What we'll do:
We will notify Trading Standards of information you have provided, there is no commitment for them to contact you directly, and they will only contact you if they deem it necessary. Whilst this does not help you resolve your dispute, it gives Trading Standards vital intelligence on how a trader is conducting their business.

If you would like to discuss this further please call us on 0808 223 1133 or reply to this email.

Extremely Poor Quality and No…

Extremely Poor Quality and No Aftersales Service. I ordered a treadmill which took 2 weeks extra to arrive. Treadmill showed in the picture to be big compared to person, but now know when it arrived, its more like a kids toy with extremely small running surface. Very poor quality and no contact from them. So if you are looking for Del boy with a mobile who will never return any calls and send you mis advertised and misrepresented items then this one for you. Avoid at all costs.

AVOID

Bought an exercise bike via a deal with Wowcher. Worst decision we ever did! Couldn't even put it together properly as it is faulty. Was delivered in October and still no further on trying to get a refund etc Because they are shockingly slow at replying to emails and they want to charge you for getting a faulty item out of your home to the tune of £40!!!

Just an update on the Bing Bang Bosh…

Just an update on the Bing Bang Bosh saga, having tried over 20 times to contact them and without success i have finally had a positive conversation with Manchester Trading standards who are now going to actively investigate this company . I have also spoken with all the main TV broadcasters to ask if they are going to be running any rogue traders programmes in the future , all were interested in this company and its way of trading , i am going keep trying to contact them in hope that they answer and i can get my money back

This company is a disgrace

This company is a disgrace. Honestly. So I brought a treadmill through Wowcher for my 2 kids that have joint disabilities so I didn’t want to spend loads as they wouldn’t be using it to go fast. To cut a long story short the courier claimed to of delivered my treadmill and apparently they have my signature. Funny that as I was at work on the day and time. When I looked online it says delivered and signed for. So that’s a straight up lie. Guess what though of course there is no signature as I didn’t bloody sign for it. It’s now week 3 of me constantly emailing bing bong for them to say to me. Get ready for this. They have spoken to there courier firm who have provided them proof that I signed for it they also checked his GPS ha ha what a load of crap. Then had the cheek to tell me to go and make a police report as it must of been stolen. How is that mine or my kids fault that there courier is a lair and didn’t really deliver. Even more if it was stolen how is that my fault they shouldn’t of left it outside my house. It just so happens that I know a police man so I will now be filing a report against bing bang and the courier company as by signing my signature it’s now fraud. They have called me a lair and treated me terrible even when I explained the reason for the treadmill they didn’t care in the slightest. So I purchased a treadmill from a real company so I am out of a lot of money. They didn’t once inquire if I wanted a refund or another one sent. This company needs to be shut down ASAP.

The Worst cancellation

Hi guys,
I also purchased the Hurricane X2 from Wowcher 3days ago. At the time I could not find reviews of the bike but the deal was so good that I hurriedly purchased it. In the middle of the night I searched for Bingbangbosh reviews and I was horrified to see all these reviews that were bad.
I went on to cancel my order, but what a fight it was.
There is no proper contact number for Bingbangbosh, no one picks up the mobile number on their website.
The what’s App contact that was provided did not respond except to tell me it would be hard to cancel my order as it dispatched on the same day (Via email Wowcher estimated delivery was 11days)
I cancelled with in the 24hour window of ordering.
I contacted Wowcher via Web-chat and what’s App.
They were quick to say they are just a voucher company and that they would check with the merchant if they would cancel the order. (There is no accountability on there end, Clever way of making sure there is no blood on their hands)

Long story short I was sent a 3 words email from Bingbangbosh saying order was cancelled the following day.
This came after my bombardment.
I emailed them, what’s App messaged them, complained Wowcher with several Agents stating why I did not want to go a head with the purchase.
I went back to wowcher what’s App chat sent them a screen shot of the email confirming the cancellation from Bingbangbosh.
Wowcher tried to persuade me to keep my money in the wallet and spend towards another product. By doing this they would give me an additional £30.
I told them to refund me to my PayPal account.
After all this......
This morning a delivery guy knocked on my door, guess what he had with him?
The Stupid Bike!!!
I told him to kindly take it back as purchase was cancelled I video recorded the whole thing.

What a fight for £168.99, these guys are something else.
After I get my refund I don’t ever want to hear Bingbangbosh or Wowcher.

iStarz Limited is the company No. 09348897..that owns Bingbangbosh.
Bingbangbosh is just a trading name....they have soo many faces hence why they get away with murder.

My advice to you, if you ordered and did not receive it yet and thinking of cancelling message Wowcher first via Web chat or What’s Appt. Then email the Bingbangbosh.
If you have already had it delivered, do not assemble it, send it back. There is no point in hoping yours works, the product is not fit purpose.. there is no way it is a coincidental for all these people to have the same issues.

Lastly keep evidence, especially if you are sending it back after use. Take pictures of faulty parts.

Stay on top of it, don’t just send an email and wait for a response. They are not like other companies.

I have just received the hurricane x2 and its awful. I wasn't expecting anything of gym standard but this seems downright dangerous. I can see others having the same issues as myself and wondered if anyone had managed to get a refund.
