Poor, lost the will to please. Service OK, just, food poor especially the steak which was extremely tough. Dessert OK but not exciting. Overall mediocre, I won't bother again and not cheap.

A poor value meal

My wife and myself have just visited Bistro Pierre Coventry. We have fond memories of enjoying great food at this restaurant chain. NOT this time. We started with a Prawn based dish which was so hot with chili that we could taste the four prawns at all. The main dish of Pork medallions was accompanied with a very small rectangular slice of tasteless dauphinoise potato.
But we were truly insulted by the vegetable offering of raw grated brussels sprout. My wife made a point of complaining about this which met by laughter.
This meal was extremely dissapointing and poor value for the high cost

Arrived and told to find our own table

Arrived and told to find our own table. Sat down and there was fries and parts of used napkins under the table. Server came and first thing they told us is what they didn’t have. No enquiry on what we wanted to drink. Menu expensive for Saturday night. Left within 5 mins and went to Correa lounge next door.

Unsafe glass at Mere Green.

We went to the branch at Mere green, what an awful decision. We initially came in for a drink and decided to stay for an early dinner. We spoke to the manager who mentioned that there was a new management team in place. We hadn't been here for a long time as service on the last occasion was rubbish. And on this occasion it was no different. We had more drinks and when it came a cheers, with no contact with my glass and my partner's, the bottom part of my glass came off! The drink splashed on a new coat, over me and the floor. Their response was nothing short of unfortunate. The inexperienced staff provided napkins, didn't think to move us and left us sitting there until the manager came over. I want to highlight this. If I had been hurt by a glass this would have meant a trip to the hospital. There seemed little recognition of how serious this was. The manager took my details for a report, hadn't even seen the glass before speaking to me. Had she done this, it would have been clear that there was an issue with the glass and I almost felt I had to explain I hadn't broken it!
I won't be returning here. You have untrained staff who have gained positions due to a money saving ploy..If you knew what you were doing, you would have.. 1. Moved us. 2. Cleaned the floor so I didn't have have my boots on a wet floor. This place is over priced, and the cost of now having a coat dry cleaned has added to an eventful time here. Won't ever return! Ended up having a lovely time at giggling Squid!

the food is just not good enough

The staff were lovely but the food is just not good enough. Having eaten in France my whole adult life I know whats good and what isn't. I had the duck a l'orange and could hardly taste the orange. the portions are a little on the small side. My husband had the steak and they forgot the herb butter, once it was brought the the butter couldn't melt. It was overcooked. So No bistrot pierre not french enough

Pierre Mere Green had 241 breakfast…

Pierre Mere Green had 241 breakfast offer, called on Saturday to ask if I needed to book, asked how many and advised just two.
Arrived Sunday and was advised as had no reservation would need to sit in bar area and was self service.
Went and ordered and advised hot drinks would be a good ten minutes, when I enquired how long the food would be, the sweaty faced stressed out young lad said he had no idea.
Drinks arrived and taken to wrong table, food arrived but we had no cutlery or condiments, bill was wrong and the service was appalling, really wished we’d gone else where.
Such a shame as had a great time there in the summer, won’t be back ever.

“Outstanding Dining Experience at Coventry’s Bistro Pierre: Delicious Food and Exceptional Service!”

I recently visited Bistro Pierre in Coventry, and I had an incredible dining experience. The food was absolutely amazing—every dish was packed with flavor and beautifully presented. A special shout-out to our waitress, Kanishka (apologies if I’ve spelled that wrong!), who made the evening even more enjoyable. She was attentive, friendly, and ensured everything went smoothly. The service and atmosphere were top-notch, making it a great spot for a special night out. Highly recommend!

Way off the mark!!

Went to the Eastbourne branch for Breakfast but really disappointed. Apart from the eggs you could tell that the rest of the food had being sitting on the hotplate waiting for the next customer so it wasn't really fresh and just Luke warm. They then have the nerve to charge me a compulsory service charge. If this company is going to charge £13.50 for a breakfast it should be worth it, sadly this wasn't.

Ignored for half an hour.

Previous visits were enjoyable, the food is good but quite expensive. The last time I went after booking a table we were seated then ignored for half an hour, it wasn't particularly busy and there were plenty of wait staff so it wasn't a staffing issue, there was a Duty Manager sat 2 tables from us seemingly too busy to notice customers being ignored. We left without a bye from anyone. I had booked using the app so got a "how did we do" email. I replied with details and got an email from a Duty Manager "Sorry this happened, we'll look into it, have 25% off your next meal, I gave enough time for her to look into why I was ignored but I haven't had a reply, it feels like it was a copy and paste apology and I don't particularly want to give them the opportunity to let me down again if they haven't bothered to address their failings. I won't be returning.

Bistro Pierre Eastboure rude manager!

Bistro Pierre Eastbourne today, 15th September 2024, we were met at the door my the rudest man that I think I've ever come across!! Such a let down for this restaurant. All their marketing and efforts to get customers to use this restaurant are completely ruined by an employee.
He was dressed in a suit so guess he was the duty manager.
I actually popped in to book a table for next weekend but changed my mind. Didn't even stay for a drink!

Don't adhere to their own T&C's

Received an e-mail inviting me to receive a free meal for my birthday. T&C's in their e-mail and on their website state that a complimentary main course is offered when a minimum £20 is spent on food and drinks from our All Day Menu. Offer excludes Seasonal Specials, Sirloin Steak and Fillet Steak. Ordered a rump steak as the free meal and £30+ of drinks and starters. They refused to accept the order because they maintained that the offer requires the purchase of at least one main course and the free meal excludes all steaks. When I pointed out that their T&C's didn't state that they said that there was nothing they could do about it. Sent a written complaint to their head office but they didn't do anything about it. Extremely poor management that doesn't deserve loyal customers.

My first and last visit to Bistro…

My first and last visit to Bistro Pierre Leamington Spa.
I was given a £50.00 voucher as a birthday present and decided to use it on 16th August 2024, the restaurant was very busy hence the slow service. When the food did arrive we both ordered the rump steak frites, at a £5.00 pp surcharge, 1 medium rare 1 well done, the medium rare was as ordered, the well done was medium at best, and both were as tough as old boot leather. Final bill without wine was £75.00 which included a £7.50 compulsory tip. There are dozens of places in Leamington Spa where a nice meal for 2 people can be bought half that price and twice the quality so buyer beware !!!

The very efficient, helpful and friendly staff.
We were given plenty of time to make our choices and given help choosing the right menu choice.
Annie was our main waitress and she made our experience very enjoyable. Very tasty food and good value.

Ripping off regular customers

We are very regular customers of Mumbles Bistro Pierre for breakfast, brunch and lunch. However, we were very disappointed to be informed today that the cost of frites as a side order have increased from £2.50 to £4.25!! Talk about taking advantage of the Summer season and compromising loyal customers in the bargain! Very disappointing.
