The team was on time, efficient, friendly, and fun! They called me when they were on their way, which I appreciated. The guys moved quickly and safely. They were training a new staff member and I heard them coaching and explaining super well, obviously care very much about the job and training new staff to high standards. I would highly recommend! They made a stressful process much easier for me!

I was quoted a lower price by the previous Operations manager and ended up paying $300 more than expected. I was expecting someone to come before the movers came to pack up extra items which slowed down the time for the movers.

Our moving team was great! Our only complaint is their vehicles leak and a lot of our stuff was very wet

The two men crew (Ben and I regretfully forget the other gentleman's name) were amazing. But it all started with Chris during the booking process then Skylar during confirmation that put my anxiety at ease with ensuring all details are noted and expectations were aligned for this move from OH to IL. The two men were efficient, professional, consideration, and polite. Moving is stressful enough but they made it a breeze!

The guys are always very friendly and kind.

I hired Black Tie Movers for what should have been a straightforward move, and it turned into a frustrating and unprofessional experience.

Two movers showed up who appeared inexperienced and unprepared. They did not know how to move basic items like a mattress down stairs and had to borrow tools (pliers) from me during the job. At one point, I had to step in and disassemble my own box spring because they didn’t understand how it worked.

Throughout the move, they were frequently on their phones, often working inefficiently with one person standing idle while the other struggled. They were also constantly joking, making odd voices, and using excessive profanity, which made the whole experience feel chaotic and unprofessional.

More importantly, they damaged multiple items:
- A brand new chair (visible wood damage on the arm)
- A dresser (scratches and gouging on the front/base despite being emptied beforehand)

This was not a case of a difficult move — this was a lack of basic skill, care, and professionalism. I would strongly caution anyone considering this company unless they can guarantee a more experienced crew.

I’ve submitted a damage claim and am hoping the company resolves this appropriately.

I paid for my furniture to be wrapped properly, my new white couch was covered in grease stains and had to stop my living to clean up the couch, also I had to re organize the truck properly and take the time to properly place all the blankets and wrap up my furniture. The leading guy for the team made me feel like o was a problem for him and wasn’t very helpful.

Awesome crew. Friendly hard working and very professional. From floor protection to wrapping and protecting every item. No wall scuffs either.

Several large items that were on the list was not moved. A roll top desk, a glider and a table. I had to rent a Uhaul and move these items myself. I should be refunded $124.00 for the cost of the Uhaul rental.

Guy were great very carefull. Only had one slight damage on head board. They did great in the rain.

The men who did the moving were not very friendly and were not very careful with the furniture. Two pieces of furniture were damaged and the walls were damaged and a wooden stair rail was deeply scratched.

Black tie movers sent a truck and 2 movers to help me and my Fiancé move locally in Columbus. They were courteous and used their equipment/tools to dissemble and move our big furniture. They were quick, started the day around 10am and got everything moved over by 2pm.

Always attentive and willing to go the extra mile to make Raving Fans out of each and every client. Extremely satisfied and would recommend them to others without question.

They were efficient on time friendly and knowledgeable.
