The movers were fantastic, they arrived on time and were very professional and polite. I highly recommend them.

Great experience, they handled all of my belongings with great care, and a phenomenal reasonable price for everything! They were very caring and loving with the entire experience. Definitely have a white glove experience.

The guys were friendly, reliable and quick. They were dedicated to doing a great job on our move. Really went above and beyond.

One of the main reasons I selected Black Tie for my move date was because I would be one of the first moves. Their team would come between 8-9am. During this time another van with the same company arrived at 9am and using the one loading dock and elevator. I know you can't control others moving out but black tie assigned 2 people at the same time. They also are very familiar with the apartment complex and knew there is one elevator. I was now competing with the same company. But the other team arrived early and mine arrive after 9am. I had a one bedroom apartment with only moving heavy items as bed, dresser, couch and chair. The rest was boxes. I also moved most other items as well. It took them 5 hours to move my items. When I moved previously into the one elevator place it took only 3 hours. I had even less this trip.

Then at the end it was awkward since they called when they were done but I was in the same space taking the ending call so I couldn't really say what I wanted to. They also said they didn't take breaks which I know they did. I also called the manager first thing in the morning when this all happened and never received a call back. Not even after. There was minor damaged done to the wall and I was suppose to get a claim to fill out. After a week nothing came and I had to reach out to get the email and start the process.

Overall this experience was interesting and not what I was expected.

Our move was scheduled for 8 am, which was confirmed twice the week prior to the move date. On the morning of the move, the time was pushed back 3 times with the crew finally arriving at 4:45 pm. What should have been a simple move turned into a nightmare day.

Scheduling our local move was easy. The movers were prompt, friendly, efficient, and professional. It was a positive experience and we would use them again.

Everyone was very Polite and hard working was use them again if needed.

Generally was satisfied. They had an issue with bringing a chair up the basement steps. Some damage to the walls and hand rail.

I initially did not have a great experience but, Chris is helping to make this situation right. I do appreciate his time with my moving experience.

They communicate very well. I had a large game moved from a home and the owners was also impressed with the amount of care they provided.

Quentin and Rodney from Black Tie Moving visited us on Friday. They were timely, efficient, pleasant & professional. I could not wish for a better experience from a service provider. Highly recommend!!

Anthony and Deshawn (hope I spelled his name right) did a great job! They were efficient, professional, and kind throughout the day and got the job done in about 2 hours, even though the estimate was closer to 3 hours. This saved us a lot of time (and money) and helped make our moving day more seamless and less stressful. I would definitely use Black Tie again.

Well, they went over on our time that we had to vacate our house and they did not bother to get everything out of the basement. They left an 8 x 10, expensive rolled up rug in the basement as well as 2 heavy duty exercise mats. We were unable to get them out ourselves and had to leave them at the property. We tipped the 3 young men $100.00 each not knowing they had left some valuable things behind. They also took a chunk out of our new sofa at the leg area. I have repeatedly called them and they always say they will call us back tomorrow. The price of the move was more expensive than what was quoted and we feel we were truly taken advantage of. I do not recommend anyone using them for all the reasons mentioned here. Terrible Customer Service and a lack of caring for personal property.

The guys were working through a rain storm and still kept the place as clean as I could. They worked fast and hard. I appreciate their commitment to timely completion

Moved a very delicate and VERY expensive pinball machine. Black Tie’s staff was professional and thorough in their handling of it as they maneuvered it up a tight stairwell to its final home. I’d recommend this company to anyone looking to move their prized possestions.
