From initial online contact to in-store helpful advice and guidance I have absolutely loved my experience shopping in the Gravesend store. No forceful sales tactics and happy to do part exchanges for unwanted jewellery. Lovely staff eager to get the right piece even if it meant getting it from another store that ultimately wasn't right. Have ended up buying two items within as many weeks mainly because of the relaxed atmosphere and obviously family run business vibe. Would definitely recommend.

I had a platinum diamond ring which needed sizing along with multiple prongs/settings tightening, as well as some unwanted gold chains to sell. The work carried out was flawless. I received a generous price for the gold. All this was done quickly and efficiently by post and email. James is an old school man of his word which is a breath of fresh air in today’s world. The whole experience was stress free. I have no hesitation in recommending Blackwell Jewellers.

I visited Gravesend Blackwell Jewellers and Pawnbrokers today (14th September 2026) after accidentally running over one of my gold stud earrings with my wheelchair. My parents have used this jeweller in the past and recommended I come here to have it repaired.

The staff were extremely kind and helpful. They opened and held their door for me, and gave me a gentle push over the small bump in the doorway to make sure I got in (and out) safely as I am a wheelchair user.

The kind gentleman who examined my earring explained he could try straightening the post, but there was a chance it might snap. He retuned after a few minutes with the earring completely straight. Also, he refused payment for the repair! He didn’t even want a tip, which is exactly why I wanted to leave a great review for the lovely service.

I have had watch batteries replaced, jewellery repaired, sold unwanted gold items and purchased various pieces. The staff are always friendly and helpful and the service is second to none. Most recently I had a problem with a link that had opened on a gold bracelet, it was repaired in minutes.

I have purchased jewelry and rings several times, and sold old gold as well. Always received excellent service, and quality goods. Staff have been friendly and patient. The best jewellers in town.

I had a great experience with Blackwell Jewellers in Gravesend. I phoned the shop beforehand and spoke to Sarah. She explained the process of buying gold for cash and invited me to pop into the shop to help me. I took in some old gold jewellery to sell. Sarah offered me a great price - I was really surprised. She really took her time to talk me through her assessment of the different pieces. Wonderful customer service. I have already recommended to friends.

Great customer service especially from Chelsea. I liked 3 rings but could not decide which one I liked the best. I asked her if she could show me how they would look on before I made my choice. The ring I chose had to be resize, which was done very professionally, & I received it the following day. Also had a very nice free gift. It was packed well. James kept in touch with me daily with emails. Will definitely buy from them again.

Repeat customer. I have bought preloved items. They arrive beautifully packaged in a great presentation box. Items are polished and appear brand new.

Bought my wife a new bangle for our anniversary it came back special delivery and they threw in a silver Paris torque ring. The bangle was exactly as described and my wife is really happy with it thanks to the team at blackwells and 10% discount was a great offer would definitely use again.

Arranged a visit for today as I wanted a nice gold men’s bracelet, was looked after by a wonderful lady called Chelsea who got some amazing bracelets out for me and saw the one that was for me after some expert advice from Chelsea. They had it all checked and polished by their on site Jewler and double checked it was perfect. I’ve arranged another visit for next month to get my son a nice chain for his birthday……. Don’t hesitate to go there guys as they done me an amazing deal….. Highly recommend these guys 😊

Hi I received a ring last week and was really excited about the ring (turns out it was VERY well worn) the most exciting part was the free gift) which matched perfectly- unfortunately it never arrived but was bombarded by emails from a James Marsh. The service was ok bit didn’t receive what I ordered.

I just want to say I think this company is excellent namely James who could not have been more helpful. I purchased a pair of earrings that were delivered spot on time but after receiving I spotted another pair that I would prefer. James made the transaction easy to swap over. After getting a renewal done to a platinum ring I was impressed with the service. I sent some pictures and measurements to James, at the shop with the idea of getting some custom made earrings. I know it was an arduous job Well a couple of weeks later they were delivered and my wife, and myself were stunned at the finished item. Beautiful piece of jewelry. The website is full of great jewellery, unfortunately I'm a sucker for great jewellery. The service from Kerry at the Maidstone branch is very good, you order, pay, the item is posted within a day and you get it with 24hr delivery. The free gift was also much appreciated. Thank you.

I was very dubious about buying online, especially as the ring was quite expensive, but didn’t need to worry. The ring has just arrived. It is stunning. Exactly as in the pictures. I have asked lots of questions before purchasing and the team have been patient and informative. Very well packed in lovely gift box. I will definitely be purchasing from Blackwell Jewellers again.
