Blue Bear Travel Insurance Renewal
I received a reminder that my annual policy was due for renewal in plenty of time to shop around.
I telephoned Blue Bear as I had a few queries but all assistants were busy so I sent an email and received a very prompt reply.
Shannon was very helpful and it was very easy to renew the policy online.

It was easy to get a quotation without any fuss. You could easily differentiate between the 3 levels of insurance and determine what was covered in each case. I took additional insurance against certain medical quotations which was thorough but uncomplicated and I was delighted with the end result. I have recommended Blue Bear to many of my friends who have been pleased that they did so

No go with Blue Bear !
If I could “award” no stars, then Blue Bear would be given them.
Insured all my travels with them on the basis of multi-trip world policies and never claimed, although I had, on several occasions, legitimate reasons for doing so.
On my 75th birthday, I was deemed too much of a risk for this company.
The only loyalty bonus for me was having the door slammed in my face.
My advice to other potential customers.
Don’t even approach Blue Bear with a barge pole in your grasp.

We can confirm, we offer our Annual Multi-trip policies to those up to the age of 79 and therefore, believe your above comments are regarding your pre-existing medical conditions.
Our colleagues at Travel Administration Facilities do assess your medical conditions and the risk they may add to the policy and do unfortunately have to decline some medical conditions due to this.
If you are declined of medical cover, this does mean that we are unable to offer you main travel insurance cover.
We do apologise for any inconvenience caused because of this.

They were very helpful when I rang to ask about the enhanced Covid cover whilst travelling . We have now renewed with them.
They also agreed to send me all the details in the post [ as well as on the computer ] when I asked them , and we look forward to receiving those soon .
