From the boat to the captain to the staff, par excellence! The two guides Ronald and Desiree were even better. I looked hard for any negative input or criticism, the only thing that came up was sub-par towels. The rides were well organized and well managed the sights and routes were beautiful and informative the food was good the facilities were good. I and my wife had the time of our lives. I would highly recommend this boat and crew to anyone.

The crew on our barge and the guides were so kind, friendly and helpful. The comfort of the ship and the delicious and abundant food and drink. The relaxed but timely schedule… the beauty of the small towns and the Dutch countryside. Even though we bicycled long distances, there were plenty of coffee/ cafe stops to refresh.
I highly recommend Boat Bike Tours for a thoughtfully guided active and relaxing vacation. Such a good value!

The whole experience was fantastic. Mehmet, Wieger, Michael and his crew went above and beyond. They needed to be flexible as we had some high winds and the schedule changed. They communicated the changes and kept us up to date.

This was an amazing experience! The boat and bikes were both great and the staff was incredible. Beautiful routes with amazing guides, wonderful food with a staff on board that went above and beyond to make our stay memorable.

We enjoyed a wonderful experience with Evert and his crew on the Fleur, riding from Paris to Bruges in Sept/Oct 2025. Every member of the team was professional, helpful and considerate, and had clearly thought carefully about how to give us enriching experiences each day. Special shout out to Desiree and Ronald (our joyful guides) who kept us safe and engaged; to Michael who made sure we got through all those locks; to Isobel for looking after all our needs on board the Fleur; and Camillo for making sure we were all well fed. It was a magical two weeks which I'll never forget.

Beautiful trip! Fun time with friends. Opportunity to explore and see a new area of the world, guided by the enthusiastic and informative Hugo.

Very helpful guides, great ship's crew. The itinerary took us through a wide variety of landscapes and towns. Highly recommended.

The guides, cycle routes, boat crew, food and e-bikes were all excellent and I would give that part of the trip 5 stars. However, the boat itself is only a 3 at best. The cabins are not well designed with inadequate storage space. On previous bike and barge trips we had storage under the beds which was very handy. There are not enough drawers to make it easy to get at your clothes. The ventilation is a HUGE problem. The air conditioners which are needed due to the lack of ventilation are not controllable. They provide uncomfortably cold air which blows directly on you while in bed. You can’t leave the portholes open to get fresh air if the sea is even a little bit rough. The air conditioners are not available all night and once they are turned off it gets hot in the cabins, You can’t open the portholes to get fresh air if the seas are even a little bit rough since water comes in through them. If you are unlucky enough to be given a cabin on the starboard side you will get diesel fumes in your room whenever the generator is running. The bathroom doors should have a fastener to stop them from banging against the shower. The pillows are rock hard and very uncomfortable. It is extremely difficult to get a good night’s sleep on this boat.

On the positive side, the guides, Emma and August were awesome. Their communications were clear and timely and they did a great job reorganizing things due to mechanical issues with the boat and some inclement weather on our last day.

The e-bikes are excellent….some of the best we have used on our numerous trips.

The crew on the boat were really great. The food was excellent and plentiful. The bartender made a really good margarita and provided excellent service throughout. The prices for wine and beer were on the high side given the availability of cheaper products in the region.

It is also difficult to understand the logistics of embarkation on the first day. We all had to make our way to a harbour outside of Bodrum, and then the next morning we went back to Bodrum to clear immigration. Why not have everyone meet at the immigration centre, complete the process and then board and sail to Kos on the first night rather than staying in a relatively isolated harbour with no nightlife.

On the last night we docked in a commercial type harbour….like a small ship yard. What a horrible place to spend our last night!! It’s hard to enjoy fun places like Bodrum when you are docked in places like this.

More swimming stops would have been appreciated.

The recommended tip at 10 percent of the base trip cost is very high.

A very well organized crew that ensured that everything went smoothly. Food exceeded our expectations.

The staff were amazing, friendly helpful. Everything was well organized. We did find the tour info meetings could have had better info and sometimes the meetings were held before riders were back on the boat.

All the crew were great and Hugo was very entertaining and made sure we had a good, informative and above all, safe time.

Expensive cruise compared to other Boat and Bike tours or Rad and Risen. The comfort, space onboard as well as the number of days cycling doesn’t compare to other tours. The wine onboard was expensive 30 € per bottle (we’re in Sicily) and Boat and Bike « suggests » we leave 5 to 10 % tip. Nobody made our room. We had to wipe the bathroom after taking a « shower », we could hear the neighbors snoring, talking, even moving in the bed next door. The dining area was very tight for 12 people. This tour should be a lot cheaper than the other tours offered by Boat and Bike because it doesn’t compare.

We spent two weeks on the Fleur and had a wonderful time. Our guides, Désirée and Ronald, were excellent. The ship was clean, meals were fabulous (including vegetarian meals) and the crew was friendly and efficient. One of our best holidays ever.

the food for breakfast was good, but for diner was not so good.

All accommodations were ok, based on the size of the boat. Food was extremely good. Alcohol prices were fair. Bike tours were great for the most part, although missed turns were a pain.
