The payment code from store doesn’t…

The payment code from store doesn’t work with American express. 😕 This quality and level of store I would have liked that better to accept amex card.

Plus the error doesn’t inform what is the problem.

Stressful and highly annoying.

The People in the store are informative.

Successful purchase

I purchased bedding, a table and a carpet this time. Very good quality, nice design and welcoming environment. I made my purchase on a sale, so the price was also very competitive. I am a repeat costumer and will continue being so.

disappointing

Unfortunately, I had a very disappointing experience with Bolia this time.
I ordered a gift for a friend using the Click & Collect option. Although the item was shown as in stock at the store, I did not receive a “ready for pickup” email for two days. When I called the store, they told me the order was ready and I could come and collect it. Only after I asked why I hadn’t received the email did it finally arrive. So although my online order was ready, no action had been taken to inform me.
I also mentioned on the phone that it was a gift and asked if it could be placed in a bag or wrapped in some way. I was told this would be possible. However, when I arrived at the store, I was handed the large vase (about 50 cm) without any bag or packaging. Despite me clearly saying it was a gift, the price tag was still attached to the vase, and the staff was incredibly rude and unhelpful.
This was very disappointing, especially since three months ago I had a great experience with Sıla when purchasing a sofa and a coffee table. Because of that, I had started considering Bolia as a go-to place for gifts. But after this recent experience, I’m truly reconsidering that.

I had a great experience

I had a great experience shopping at Bolia. I came in and looked around first on my own and when I was ready to talk to someone the sales associate, Marcel, was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. He took a lot of time to talk me through options and get a better sense of what I needed. At the end, he took all of my choices and put them in an email and sent me home with samples so when I was ready to buy (the next day) all I had to do was follow the link and pay. I highly recommend.

We received our sofa about two weeks…

We received our sofa about two weeks ago – delivery was on time, and we appreciated that.
However, one of the sofa cushions is unfortunately deformed. The surface cannot be smoothed out by hand, and the filling inside feels condensed and hardened in certain areas. It’s very noticeable and uncomfortable, and clearly not the quality we expected.

We contacted the company for support but haven’t received a helpful response yet. If this issue can’t be resolved, we’d prefer to return the sofa entirely.

Very disappointed, especially given the price and expectations.

Bad service - Bolia wrongly entered my order!

The person at Bolia Frankfurt ordered my sofa wrong after designing with me in the store.
After waiting for more than a month, i now have a sofa that does not fit my living room.

The reply from Bolia is exactly the kind of way to avoid dealing with potential issues. I'll be more than happy to paste the correspondence from customer support here, which up to now has not proposed any fair way of dealing with the situation at all

Catastrophic! To be avoided in Belgium! A broken item delivered. Client service took 10 days to respond to offer a gift voucher. No replacement, no reimbursement, but a gift voucher

It can/should be improved

I placed an order for a sofa and a dining table, at their physical store where I also prepaid the full amount plus delivery and montage (for the sofa) cost. Some days later I got a message from central customer support informing me that the table is not deliverable due to discontinuation from the manufacturer.
Point No.1: Bolia has weak controls over its supply chain, the need to sort it out.
Point No2: I log into myBolia account, to see that they had deleted the undeliverable table, but had not deducted the respective delivery cost. This system weakness needs to be sorted out too as it has an impact on the level of confidence that the customer has vis a vis the seller. Bolia Frankfurt store solved it with full professionalism, but the central management needs to ensure these things don't happen.

My experience with Bolia’s performance has not been entirely commensurate with my perception of the brand. I hope I get happier when i take delivery of the sofa. But I have to say that problems were resolved the next working day, still though I had to go through the stress of sourcing another table elsewhere and ask for reconciliation of delivery costs. They solved it quickly I think, because I did the purchase at the branch and I had a real person with a real face to talk to. This proved to be very important. Always go through the store.
I will now think before buying from this brand again and it is really a pity because the service at the Frankfurt branch was absolutely top. Order: 701484069

Passive-aggressive, dismissive and unprofessional sales person in CPH City Center shop

I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Bolia. My Click & Collect order from CPH City Center shop has been mishandled not once, but twice, despite receiving official confirmations that my items were set aside. When my friend went to collect the order as instructed, the full order was not available, which is completely unacceptable. The sales person arranged and promised that my order will be available within a week or so as she will get the products from another store as the one I ordered was selling my products.
To make matters worse, the day I called to check when the order can be collected I received the worst sales representative support ever, the person I spoke to on the phone was passive-aggressive, dismissive, and unprofessional. Their tone and behavior made me feel denigrated and discriminated against, which is unacceptable from a company I expected to deliver premium service. She hang up on me while telling me to go ahead to Customer Service as she doesn’t want to help.
This repeated failure in handling orders and the lack of respect from sales person has left me deeply dissatisfied. I am now forced to escalate this issue formally, as it seems Bolia is unwilling to address it appropriately. I would not recommend Bolia to anyone seeking reliable service or respectful treatment. No Refund for Missing Items

I have purchased lamp, 2 bulbs, coat hanger and 3 vases in November. Bulbs and coat hanger was missing. It took Bolia customer service 3 weeks to respond to my email regarding missing items. I was told 'wait we are investigating and will get back to you soon'. I waited further 2 weeks and sent another email asking for details of management as i wanted to escalate the complaint. Yet, again I was ignored for three weeks. I sent yet another email, which was eventually acknowledged and refund was promised within 3-6 working days. One month later no refund has been made and no response to my emails.

Wrong delivery and no feedback from customer service

I ordered a couch and a table plus chairs from Bolia and the delivery and Customer Service ended up disappointing us.

The extension for the table came as gray-laminated, not dark-oiled oak.

The table and chair legs are not the same color, even though both are supposed to be dark-oiled oak.

The couch legs should also be dark oiled oak but are a completely different color.

I sent two messages to their customer service email since the delivery on 05th December 2024, no response at all.

This is very disappointing for a basket size this large. I considered buying more from Bolia but this is changing my mind.

I’m sorry that you received the wrong color for the extension leaf.

The reason the colors of the table and chair legs don’t match, even though they are both supposed to be dark oiled oak, is that the products come from different suppliers. Since wood is a natural material, it always has slight variations, which is why the parts are not exactly identical.

The same applies to the sofa legs.

I’ve already sent you an email where we can discuss the details of your concern, and I’ve provided a solution.

I apologize for the delayed response. Due to the holiday season, we are currently in the busiest time of the year, and I truly appreciate your understanding and patience.

Delivery is a joke

Delivery is a joke. We ordered 3 different types of wine glasses on 26.11. They all receive a different tracking number. One set arrived already on the 29.11, which is great. The second set however arrived when we were not home. Instead of asking the neighbors, it got sent back to the Bolia warehouse. They didn’t send it to a postal office for 7 days, they didn’t leave a message in our letter box, nothing. We also didn’t receive any reply or update from Bolia. Do we get our money back? Do we need to buy these again? Do we get them for the same reduced price? Why are we paying delivery fees for exactly? The third set of glasses is still stating the same status (11 days after ordering): Shipment is being prepared. Again, no update from Bolia itself. And this is not the first time that delivery goes wrong, this is the fourth time. Obviously, delivery can’t follow the demand because of sales prices.

We ordered 3 sets of glasses. All of them came with a different tracking code. 1 set arrived. The 2nd set was sent back apparently, since we were not at home at the delivery. Unfortunately, they didn't try to leave it behind at our neighbors. I do not know what happens now. Will I get a message from Bolia? Will they try to deliver it again? Is the order now canceled? Should I buy it again? No update on the 3rd set yet.

It's clear that you are selling in volumes with the never ending sale prices, but delivery lacks behind.
