Friendly, chatty service with a human touch. Quick and fuss free

Booking was made easily by polite and knowledgeable staff.

Overall great booking experience. Have booked mini break for next year which we are so looking forward to. Great customer service who helped us at the start of the booking until the final confirmation. Customer services are very efficient and pleasant.

The hotel was on great location but our room was not that great. There are some other rooms there which are bigger and great views of the Lake but our room was very small, not great shower and decor was poor too.

An incredibly helpful member of the team phoned me today, sorted out a new date for me - I am going to delete the previous comments (which were minor niggles to reassure everyone) and say, if you have any issues or concerns, just phone the team and they will sort you out. 5 stars and thank you!
Place still looks lovely on the website as well.

Although the hotel is in a 700 year old building, which was lovely and had character, there was a distinct lack of maintenance. Eg plants growing out of gutters, bathroom fittings wobbly etc. The room we stayed in was incredibly hot with two fans on constantly. This hotel needed air conditioning.
On the up side the staff were excellent and it was super dog friendly.

Can’t really comment on food as took ill on second day and didn’t eat much but if our last day breakfast is anything to go by it’s was fantastic good quality ingredients expertly cooked good portions plenty to choose from in the continental side 👍. Would I return YES

Very enjoyable break for very little money.
Only complaints were that our room was a little tired and in need of some refurbishment. Also, it was unbearably hot in there despite cool temperatures outside, which made it hard to sleep despite the fan being on all night.

I booked a 4 day stay at a Hotel, selecyed my dates and then reaslised I had selected the wrong dates. I phoned Booksibreaks and they were very helpful, they sorted the dates and resent my confirmation letter. From the start they have been very professional and left you feeling comfortable and you can just relax and look forward to the break. I made a note but lost my bit of paper but think the lady was called Kate who helped me with the paperwork. Thank you.

The staff were patient with me as I trust no one who wants banking info over the phone.
Hopefully the break will be as good as it sounds.

Good booking experience with zero tickbox/call steering/option choosing.

The break itself at the Lake of Menteith resort was fantastic. Staff and accommodation all great.
Booksi seem a bit on the disorganised side, as they emailed me the wrong check-in dates prior to arrival, phoned us to find out how the break went before we’d been, and emailed after we returned to let us know our break was coming up. Having said that I’d happy book again. The point of contact on the phone was a very patient gentleman who couldn’t have been nicer, very easy to deal with and none of the above issues were directly to do with him! I’ll eagerly await a call soon, as we loved the break.

Staff couldn't have been more helpful and professional

I really enjoyed my stay was a lovely oldie worldy place with beautiful surrounding. Thought food prices where on the high side e.g full english £18 and then egg on toast for £18 hence only had free continental, staff was very friendly

The setting was great .The hotel was run down (my opinion).The location was isolated. The staff in some areas was very untrained The service was poor.we left 2 nights early .

I have got as far as making an open booking for me to take up within the next 18 months. I spoke to Lucy and Thomas who were very patient and explained everything very clearly.
