I would not recommend this subscription. Each book package arrived substantially late. There wasn't tracking information provided so I couldn't anticipate when the package would arrived. When a delivery was missed and therefore sent back to the warehouse, I was asked to pay postage again to receive my order. I had not been notified that the package was on route, that it was missed or that I was expected to collect it from Royal Mail. I found the customer service exceptionally poor.

Took out a subscription in January 2021 for 1 year - £149 - as a birthday gift for someone. I have had to send numerous emails to customer service asking for updates/complaining about service. The first delivery was meant to arrive around 30 January - finally arrived 12 February following countless emails from me. Second order was meant to have been packed and shipped last weekend but delayed again. Apparently now on its way but have been told to allow plenty of time for delivery. Do NOT go anywhere near this company. I have asked for contact phone number so that I can speak to the CEO and founder but they do not have one - only communicate via email. Avoid.

I bought this for my husband as a Christmas present, and we received the first selection quickly and he was very pleased. Unfortunately since then we have had no further deliveries, we should be getting ready for our 4th parcel and we still don't have numbers 2 and 3.

I placed the order in December as a Christmas gift for my fiancé, and we are in February and nothing about the boxes.
I have sent several emails, none of them replied with clear information about the status of delivery - they keep saying is post delay but do not provide any evidence of dispatch date and tracker.
Also, as it was a gift and I got a 6-month subscription, I have been asking to cancel and get refunded but what a surprise, no answer at all!
My worst regret was to trust it was a small new business, but no honesty come with them and that's why it is still small.
I have also bought another subscription from other branch of the company (my book moment) and the same poor service and no delivery at all.
More than 100 pounds missing and I have to read rude emails.
Horrific service
Horrific service. No dispatch information, and order still not received over a month later. No telephone number to chase, Facebook comments are deleted and emails ignored... oh, until you go through PayPal resolution to get a refund. Same day response from them then but still no apology or advice as to how they will rectify just asked me to delete the PayPal resolution before they'll deal with it.
Awful in every way
I wouldn’t even give one star. Bought a one off box and never received it as a birthday gift. The confirmation email doesn’t give an estimated dispatch or delivery date as you would expect. Received a pack of lies from their “customer support” via email and was refused a refund many times despite their clear mistakes, awful communication and terrible business. Never trust a business where the emails aren’t signed off by an individual person. Still chasing the refund via PayPal, and will be taking legal action if this is not received. Avoid, avoid, avoid!

Books + beer have far outweighed my expectations so far. The book choices have been fantastic and the beers, very tasty.
I am not a big beer drinker but all have been very nice.
I will look forward to my box next month.

Brilliant company and Service
I bought the six month crime book pack for my boyfriend in June and he has LOVED it. All the books were very high quality, and the beers were interesting and diverse. Packages always arrived around the first week of the month, and when they haven't I've had prompt and personal responses from the company explaining why and giving useful information. Will order again next year as he has loved it so much!

I honestly thought I had been scammed. At first, the order took ages, I was worried that I had been scammed and that upset me, I sent several emails, all of which got answered quickly which was unusual for a scammer. My order arrived later than I expected but oh my christ I love it. I'd recommend this to everyone. I'm not usually someone who subscribes to things or even drinks IPA Beer. But I can honestly say, that not only the book I got (Truth, A History of Total Bullsh*t) is amazing, but so is the beer. If you're looking for a good beer subscription, this is the one.

I haven't recieved my box, they do not have a contact number. They do not respond to emails and they delete any comments on social media. AVOID THIS COMPANY I BELIEVE THEY ARE A SCAM. They will also not give you a refund so be very careful
Good idea, poor service
The idea and product is great, but the delivery is very poor, they say they ship around the 20th but received about the 27th first delivery, about the 30th the second and then I’ve still not received the third delivery as of the 4th of the following month. Vague or no replies to messages. How hard can it be to put two cans of beer and a book in the post. Glad I only have a 3 delivery order and not an ongoing subscription. I’d not recommend them to anybody at the moment

The books are well selected and the beers are always tasty.
Taking time to find a book just wouldn't happen otherwise; I'd usually get through one book a year on holiday - now I get through one every month!
I love it when the box arrives, kicking back with a beer and good read puts me in my happy place!
Excellent value and such a great idea!
Big fan of this box, the perfect way to get back into reading whilst also enjoying a couple of excellent craft beers. My first box contained beers from a brewery in Yorkshire called Salt which were excellent, and the book is a thrilling read from the author who wrote the TV series Dexter. To get a new release book and 2 craft beers for just £13.50 delivered is great value, you'd expect to pay up to £10 for a new book alone. Highly recommend!

I signed up on 31st may and still nothing.
And because I went on their Facebook page yesterday 4th July and warned others off they removed the comment and blocked me.
E mails go unanswered. I feel I have been scammed.

Ordered the mystery craft beer box which states it has a selection of 6 of the best craft beers from different breweries. When received it only contained two types of beer from the same brewery. It also took a very long time for the order to turn up.
I emailed to question about this and was told that they will deliver what is in stock at the time. I asked for a refund but they refused unless I pay for the postage myself to return. They were very rude and have extremely bad customer service. They stopped replying to emails once they had no more answers. I left comments on social media with pictures of the beers I received, they were all deleted and I have been blocked. Terrible company. Avoid.
