My wife and I have both had eye tests and renewed our glasses in the passed three weeks at the Winton branch of Boots. The service was very efficient and friendly from the optometrist, Carolyn and the staff member, Viola, who dealt with us. My wife's glasses were ready within four days.

A small shoutout for Boots Opticians (Helensburgh), who I’ve been going to for many years now, and who I’ve just had my latest eye test with, today.
They work both quickly and efficiently, with the nicest of politeness at all times. It’s a great pleasure to go there.

I had an eye test for work purposes.
At the same time I paid Boots at castlemall Norwich to reglaze my glasses. The glasses have come overglazed twice now. Whilst initially helpful. The latest over glazing has warped the frames and boots have washed their hands of it, ignoring my contact with the store manager.
I've taken a pair of glasses with a small prescription change, spent over £100, spent over 4 hours in the car driving to and from the castlemall Norwich store and ended up with a pair of glasses that don't work.

Thanks to the staff at Ashton Under Lyne today. What l had expected to be an anonymous routine eye test turned out to be a lovely afternoon out visiting caring, courteous and consummately professional new friends. From Tahmin, who checked my familial medical details , patiently searched back in the records to find my previous history ( as it was many years since my last appt) and set up the glaucoma air puff test, which l need not have dreaded as it was far easier than l had remembered. Then Zoha who performed the actual eye test, diligently thorough in her professional approach ensuring that l received the correct outcome and not hesitating to repeat the “ is it better No 1 or No 2 “ when l was unsure with no sense of hurrying me , her time there was to get it right for me and l appreciated that. She was very polite, very caring and a lovely, friendly girl.
Julie then came to help me choose which frames . I thought it would be a straightforward choice of what l liked the look of but Julie politely explained that owing to the strength ( and therefore convex width ) of lens prescribed l might be better with a spring hinged frame and she spent time helping me select the most appropriate for my needs. She was patient and again there was no urgency to make me choose, she wanted me to be sure that l had chosen the ones l absolutely wanted. She was caring and very friendly.
The whole team who dealt with me today were a credit to Boots each in their turn confident and professional in their job which reassured me that l was in good hands; they were kind, friendly and caring while keeping the professional relationship and most importantly they each gave the impression that they loved their job and that nothing was too much trouble for them as long as l was happy. It was a pleasure to see you all this afternoon. WELL DONE GIRLS . Thank you. Julie Cotton.

The Tiverton Boots opticians are super friendly and very professional. I had an eye test and paid extra for the OCT scan, the machine that scans the layers beneath the retina.
The optometrist was wonderful and very thorough. Thanks to all the staff.

I collected my prescription glasses this weekend from Boots Opticians Fosse Park Leicester and want to thank Gurpreet for her attentiveness in ensuring that the fit was correct and asking pertinent questions as to the quality and suitability of the vision. Gurpreet took time to help me with my selection of frames during my last visit which was very much appreciated and necessary. The advice as regards suitability was spot on. I have visited various high street opticians over the years but I will certainly be sticking with Boots going forward. The attention and follow up care I received from Gurpreet was most professional and knowledgeable. The best I have experienced. Thank you.

They rang me to make an appointment I had to have eye drops so had to walk there took me 49mins when I arrived they had forgotten to book it into the appointment system waste of time and energy, I will be changing opticians just incompetent

I have just picked up my varifocal glasses & even more-excitingly, my varifocal contact lens from Boots opticians in Merseyway, Stockport. I was very fortunate in having Stephen recommended to me as a contact lens specialist & that he is! As I have always worn rigid gas permeable lenses (& not the usual soft lenses), I asked if it was possible to make a varifocal lens. Despite having astigmatism, he has managed to design a lens, which means my vision is near perfect for both long & short distance. I have had to wear reading glasses for close-up work until Stephen’s perseverance with my latest prescription. I cannot recommend him enough.

Very friendly, professional staff in Bedford Retail Centre - Krishna Ghelani, Optometrist and Rebecca Taylor, Optical Adviser. I have used Boots Opticians for my eye tests and glasses for 26 years, and had laser surgery by a Boots eye surgeon in Nottingham in 2004.

Let me start by saying the service received from the optician was and has always been exceptional and from Paula today after my third visit to store and third pair of glasses!
The first pair of glasses I chose myself as there was no salesperson helping, I approached them once I had chosen my glasses, I asked her if they appeared too big for me and without even looking at the fit of the glasses said ‘no’. The glasses were ordered and on pick up seemingly adjusted to fit well? After wearing the glasses for the weekend they were very uncomfortable and falling off my face. I returned to store to be told ‘ they are too big for you!’ . I chose another pair, again nothing was explained to me about the fit or style. 10 days later I picked the glasses up and they were fitted, however after a couple of days they were hurting behind my ears and were too tight. Again I returned to be seen by another sales person who in my opinion couldn’t be bothered, she adjusted the glasses , she didn’t check them to ensure they fitted well and again the fit was appalling. Today I returned to store again ready to say I wanted to cancel everything including contact lenses subscription. I was taken into a private room by Paula who explained everything in detail to me about the service I should have received, she took the time to explain the fit off glasses and help with suitability. I feel if I had received this service at the first appointment I would not be on my third pair of glasses in 3 weeks! The cost to the company must be enormous as I feel I may not be the only customer treated this way . Thank you Paula for taking the time with me today and ultimately keeping my custom . I think this needs to be addressed by management as the service I have received on these occasions is not what I have previously experienced from this store.
