Thank you Boots after my review in September you got back to me and promised to look into the matter of me not getting my referral for my cataracts till 2nd of September from my eye test on 21st August2026.I told you I was going on holiday in September but nobody has been back in touch with me although I did inform you when I would be back from my holiday.For a company the size of Boots you have been absolutely awful. I should really have reported you for not getting back to me but i suppose it's a waste of time with companies like you.

Waiting time and customer service are…
Waiting time and customer service are awful. Waiting over two weeks for a pair of lenses and now when finally arrived, something is wrong with left one, I have to take them back. They also "lost" my original RayBan box and replaced it with a...lousy one

I recently visited Boots Opticians in Salisbury for an eye test and received absolutely brilliant service.
• The Examination: My optician, Adrian, was incredibly thorough and professional. He took the time to explain everything clearly and made me feel completely at ease throughout the check.
• Choosing Frames: Afterwards, Emil helped me select my new glasses. He was so patient, knowledgeable, and gave great advice on which frames suited me best without any sales pressure.
Jenny was brilliant when it's came to the fitting very reassuring and helpful and gave me some great tips.
The entire team in Salisbury made the visit seamless and stress-free. I highly recommend this branch!

I am extremely disappointed with the service I have received from Boots Opticians. It has been **two months, and I still have not received my glasses on time**. I paid £190 for my glasses, and I expected a much better level of service and professionalism.
The delay is unacceptable, especially as I am experiencing eye discomfort and my eyes are hurting while waiting for my glasses. What makes this experience even more frustrating is that even the customer service team has failed to resolve the issue.
As a paying customer, I should not have to chase repeatedly for something I have already paid for. Two months of waiting, no proper resolution, and such poor communication are completely unacceptable.
I expected much better from a well-known company like Boots Opticians. This experience has caused me unnecessary stress and disappointment, and I would not recommend their service based on my experience.
**I want Boots Opticians to take responsibility, resolve this issue urgently, and provide the level of customer service that paying customers deserve.**

On 27th October 2026, I had my first experience at Croydon Boots Opticians, and I can honestly say it was a great one.
From the moment I was greeted by the front desk team, and especially by the optician, Umar, I received nothing but excellent service.
I visited Boots Opticians for a second opinion regarding my son’s eyesight. Umar was excellent, thorough and reassuring. He took the time to explain everything in detail, reassuring me that my son’s eyes were healthy but would benefit from additional support.
I cannot thank Umar and the whole team enough for their professionalism, kindness and reassurance. I would highly recommend Croydon Boots Opticians to anyone looking for a friendly, professional and caring service.

My usual opticians - but the service wasn't quite as excellent as usual this time.
The initial checks were done in an ok manner, although I felt that they have been done more professionally in the past. The lady then said "I'll just check your glasses prescription whilst you go to the waiting area", then looked very confused when I said that I needed my glasses to see to go to the waiting area, repeating her request! Eventually (on the third attempt) she realised... The optician who conducted the eye test was very thorough, if I think a little confused by my slightly complex prescription and the way my eyes respond. She was very young, and it did show in her reactions to how my eyes work - I could tell that she was really surprised that my eyes were healthy, and that I have a full field of vision, despite having focusing and other issues.
