Two trips to Boots Opticians Worcester
I have recently made two visits to Boots opticians in Worcester. My first visit was for my annual eye test. The optician who dealt with me was Aaliyah, who is quite simply brilliant. She talked me through my OCT and the state of my eyes in detail and really clearly. I highly recommend this opticians.
My second visit was after I had dropped one of my pairs of glasses on the floor and accidentally stood on them dislodging one of my lenses and losing a screw. I went into Boots and explained the problem. Chantel saw me me and repaired my glasses expertly. She was welcoming, friendly and very helpful. Before leaving the store she said, any problems come and see us we are here to help.
Aaliyah and Chantel are a credit to Boots. I wouldn't go to any other opticians.

Found staff uninterested and uncaring. Waited for ages and then when someone could be bothered to speak to me, it was obvious i was just an inconvenience. No help on selecting glasses and clear they just wanted ple out. Won’t be back.

The service is great. The lady that helped me with my eyes testing was very friendly. Just don’t understand why I can’t take the photo inside the store. I wanted to post on my social media. But been told off my the security guard.

Great customer care
Great customer care , very polite and patient. I decided to go to Boots for a second eye test as the one I had with another high street optician had felt very rushed and I felt as if I was on a conveyor belt. The optician gave me time to think and process what I was seeing . She picked up that I had astigmatism which I had never been informed of before. I feel that she was very kind and thoughtful and explained things really well . I found the help to choose my frames was also customer friendly and patient - not trying to sway me one way or another to get a sale but the process was honest / informed and I felt listened to regarding my budget , and style preferences. Thank you , it was a lovely experience and i only popped in on the off chance of them having any appointments available.

The opticians were lovely and…
The opticians were lovely and professional but I was very disappointed that they were unable to find my previous records to check on an eye issue that I had discussed with the optician on a previous visit. These are medical records and Boots should be taking appropriate precautions to ensure they are available.

Just terrible.
They had three jobs to do. Get prescription right, and get measurements and lens angle right. When I collected my glasses all three were wrong (by their own admission). I asked for my money back and was, sort of threatened, that they will not serve me again (as if I’d want to go back). Awful service.

Top notch service at Salisbury Boots Opticians
Luke the optician was very thorough and explained everything carefully advising on the best options for my needs. Emil helped me with my glasses choice, from an extensive range. He was very patient with me as he worked out the costs of several different packages. I felt unhurried and valued as a customer and would thoroughly recommend.

What made the experience really great is the personal attention and honest opinion of a member of staff who becomes your friend for a while, listens to your needs, and would tell you truthfully if the glasses you chose weren’t right for you, but would suggest some that were.

I have always used Independent…
I have always used Independent opticians until now and of late been extremely disappointed with the lack of service and up selling now involved in using them.
Yesterday 21/10 I used Boots at Folkestone and have to say that my experience was exceptional. From being greeted with a smile as I entered the opticians area, to My pre screen, undertaken my Karen with up most care, totally actively listening and engaged. Offered an extra screening service but moved on when I turned it down. To the lovely relaxed but professional service by Amaka My optician to Hannah who dispensed my prescription, explaining my options clearly and repeating what was on offer and timescales.
I hope collecting my spectacles is as good as my initial experience. Thank you ladies and well done for great, great service
