Disappointed
I really wanted to like the products. I wanted them to be my hair’s saving grace but they are too heavy for my waves. The curl cleanser gets my scalp super itchy. the conditioner is not moisturizing enough. The curl cream and gel just add heaviness to my hair.

Allergic?
I’ve used Boucleme in the past with 5 star experiences. I’m not sure if the formulae have changed but my eczema is being triggered by ingredients in the cleanser and conditioner. I’m so sad!

I just can't get over the smell
I just can't get over the smell. Not good. Smells like old mint and eucalyptus to me.
Hair feels moisturized tho. Took the online survey and it said I need curl items but then sent pics to online consultant and they said I have wavy hair. How much different is the line for curls vs for waves.

Hello Angela, we're sorry you don't get on with the smell we use essential oils rather than synthetic fragrances and some can find them a bit strong. The products in the waves and curls kit aren't too dissimilar, it's really just the cleansers and some of the styling products.

The hydrating hair cleanser is great smelling and does a good job of cleaning my hair without being overly stripping. It's low/almost no lather and I have to use a little more than typical shampoo. If you're on the fence it's worth it to buy the larger amount.
