Outstanding detail. everyone who has seen it are amazed at the detail.
The locomotive does not have modern couplers to hook up to more modern trains.

I bought this for my grandson and he loves it. I will be adding additional train cars and additional track in the future. I am looking forward to seeing his smiling face as he continues to add the additional items to his train.

Well, I do think it is of good quality. The problem is the engineering involved in the production of the engine makes me wonder why it doesn’t have DCC capabilities. I’ve paid less prices for locomotives that are at lease DCC ready. Sure, the engine is technically the most expensive part of a train set, but when you figure in the costs involved with getting the other cars and accessories, I’m sure profits will remain. Plus have you guys ever considered putting together special purchases just for those who model in a level higher than the casual collector?
still waiting on the rest of the unit engine only so far
I still have NOT received this item. It has been enroute since Dec 5. & it is now the 19th. I’m not sure why I am being asked for a review when I haven’t received the item. Also when I check tracking it has not been updated since the 8th.
