When the item is expensive, do you have to tack on another $20. The items are always very nice, but the extra money is high.

I like the products but they are pricey and shipping and handling is really marked up.
I think products are overpriced and then you add sipping and handling to jack up price more.

You may check and see how much I rely on Bradford Exchange for beautiful editions of all sorts. My grandchildren are going to cherish the pendants I have bought for each of them to receive after I pass away. Bait and Switch Shipping Charge
When we use the web to place an order there are things we come to expect when you provide that company with sensitive information about your checking account for a check order. B.E. took me through a few screens that lead me to believe I could order checks and have them delivered at no extra cost. The delivery wait is longer but I'm not in a hurry so I opted out of shipping costs. AFTER providing my card information for the purchase, another screen popped up asking for a subscription and I said "no". As soon as I selected no my order closed and included the full cost of shipping - doubling the total charge of my order. This was a bait-and-switch scheme. I should have known I was in for a ride when I noticed the unusually small font on the webpage, and a whole lot of text. If you want free shipping from this company, it isn't free. I was not offered a cancelation button to unprocess my order. After locating their phone number I was told I could not cancel my order at that time. They said it would take two hours to showed up on their end before I was allowed to cancel my order, so I phoned the next day. They did cancel my order thank goodness. The lady said the charges will not post on my account until the order was processed and ready to ship. That was not true. The next day the charge came through on my account. I canceled my order yesterday. Here on day two the charge disappeared from my bank account.

Horrible handbags from Bradford Exchange
do not purchase any handbags from Bradford Exchange. while they look cute they don't last at all. I purchased this 'Disney Mickey Mouse And Minnie Mouse Love Story Handbag' and the cheap plastic they used is peeling off the bag. If you want a Disney bag that will last purchase a Dooney and Burke. Even Loungefly is better qulity It will cost you a little more but at least they last. This one from Bradford Exchange was $139.00 not cheap anyway. Even after 2 years, it should have lasted longer than that
