Super friendly and helpful staff at the Newton Abbot branch where I collected my OSB loft boards from. One of the guys even gave me a hand loading up the car. Thanks guys!

Not good
Delivery much slower than suggested on the website and mostly very poor quality timber.

3 pallets were delivered they were sent back as most were cracked or broken

Huge range of stock
Huge site and range of stock. Car park packed with cars so obviously very popular. Good to use a SW based company. Click and collect - items ready quickly but collection itself took a while (staff spent a long time on the computer and printing documents, checking reference numbers etc). One of 3 spars of timber purchased was warped.

Delivery arrived as promised
Delivery arrived as promised. Only slight problem was when i placed order website said lots in stock only to receive call the following morning to say part of order not in stock. Caller was very helpful and sorted this issue.

Great topsoil!
I ordered a dumpy bag of topsoil which was on special offer. The online order crashed part way through so I was a little worried but a quick exchange of emails meant that the order was completed OK. Nice early delivery so I had plenty of time to shift the soil. Topsoil is great and everyone I dealt with was friendly and efficient. Will definitely use BBS again in future.

Easy to order etc
Easy to order, phone call followed to ask when we’d like it delivered, arrived on the arranged day at the informed time. Just as it should be, but often isn’t with other companies, would def use this company again.
