Efficient service very impressed

Bradfords may bot be the cheapest (although not that much more expensive), but I have always found them very efficient and cheerful. Delivery guy was top notch too.

Ordered online, 1 in stock paid straight away. ,say collect now, decided to go next morning, get there no one knew anything about order, And none in stock, only the one on display, keep to screwfix next time

I ordered online for 3 tons of topsoil and several lengths of wood and set delivery for a day in about a weeks' time. I didn't receive a confirmation email. The day came around and I rang the office to check the delivery status. Chap was helpful and established that Bradfords should have contacted me but hadn't. He suggested the delivery dates displayed online are estimates only, but accepted I should have been told of any variation as well as receiving a confirmation email with order number. He suggested other dates they could deliver but appeared to suggest that the date selected was not possible. I was a bit disappointed by this as I had taken the day off and planned my weekend around shifting the product. An hour or so passed and I decided to call them back to rearrange. I spoke to the same guy who was very quick to say they'd rearranged their deliveries that day to fit mine in at lunch! This was obviously excellent and enabled me to crack on as I'd planned. Great customer service and appreciated, all service after that was spot on polite and timely but not enough for a 5* review as they clearly need to sort their communications out regarding online orders. I will be using Bradfords in future and do recommend them, with the caveat to get in touch with them quickly if you don't receive an email order confirmation.

Placed an order for some building supplies and agreed a delivery date. I telephone Bradfords on the delivery morning to get a rough idea of timings and was told "after lunch" My order did not arrive so I left a message. This was not answered. The General Manager was never available to speak to. Order eventually delivered several hours after time promised. Won't be using Bradfords again.

Excellent customer service, made getting the resources for my patio really easy, I would definitely recommend using them, they will be my first option for materials in the future.

Bit disorganised with not great communication eg no email confirmation of order even when payment taken but when I got through to a human he was helpful and arranged to get the coping stones that they didn't have in stocks. Product good quality and friendly delivery service

Ordered on line which was nice and easy. It took a little longer than normal for delivery but overall very happy. The delivery driver did a great job offloading and dropping off exactly where I asked.

Alterations were needed to my order which were sorted with no hassle. The yard were then expecting me and were most helpful loading me up.

I tried to call numerous times in the 2 week after placing my order, the phone rang out each time. Eventually, toward the end of the two weeks my call was finally answered and the person on the other end of the phone said that the store pretty much always has the timber i had ordered and i could come as soon as i wanted. It seems to me that my order would've just sat there for weeks without being seen, even though the timber i had ordered was probably in stock from the day i ordered it. I will be going elsewhere in the future.

I appreciate the difficulties caused by Covid 19 but I am still waiting for delivery of two tons of topsoil. Noone has bothered to ring or communicate. I only live about one mile from the Taunton store! Order No100028908 dated 5 Jun

Always find Bradford's staff very helpful, informative, and friendly. Deliveries have always arrived on time as agreed even in the lockdown.

Easy to order on line. Prompt delivery and very pleased with the sleepers.

I ordered some top soil and within a day someone from Bradfords had called me and explained that demand was high and so it might not be delivered for a week or two, but they would call me when a date was fixed.

Some 10 days later a lorry arrives completely unannounced and it was just fortunate that I was in.

A little disappointing. I know it is a challenging time and I was entirely ok with the longer than normal wait for the soil, but then my 'customer experience' was spoilt by the lack of letting me know it was coming (ideally with witha day or so notice).

Helpful and bought delivery forward at request. Delivery driver was very chatty, cheery and efficient.
