5 Star to this company for its professional manor throughout a very stressful and unnerving process of an online auction. It was my first time and Louise at Bradley Hall walked me through the whole process from start to finish. With all of their help and guidance I was lucky enough to secure the property. I can not thank them enough and would highly recommend Bradley Hall and especially Louise for their services.

I would strongly advise others to exercise caution when dealing with Bradley Hall for valuation services.

As part of a finance application, I was required to use their surveyors and paid approximately £3,500 for valuations. Unfortunately, the valuation came back significantly undervalued, which has had a serious impact on my ability to proceed.

Based on my experience, I have serious concerns about the quality and professionalism of the valuation process, and I did not feel the valuers demonstrated the level of skill or expertise I expected for such an important report.

This has resulted in a considerable waste of my time, energy, and money, and has caused unnecessary stress. I also felt there was very limited opportunity to challenge or resolve the outcome once the valuation had been issued.

I would strongly recommend that anyone required to use panel surveyors:

Fully understand the risks involved
Be aware that valuations may not meet expectations
Consider seeking independent advice where possible

Overall, this has been a very disappointing experience, and I would urge others to proceed with caution.

I was struggling to get a mortgage with my credit, then I got introduced to Gary through my partner. It took a while but his hard work paid of finally got a mortgage with excellent rates. Would highly recommend, I would use his services again.

I’ve tried dealing with many commercial estate agents over the years, and while the bar isn’t always high, Bradley Hall consistently manages to fall well below it.

Their online listings are rarely accurate. Properties remain advertised as “available” even when they’ve been off the market for months, or marked as still for sale or to let when they’re already under offer. It gives a completely misleading picture of what they actually have available.

Email enquiries are another headache. Messages seem to get sent to several different agents at once, resulting in multiple replies, each giving contradictory information. There’s absolutely no consistency, no clarity, and no sense that anyone’s actually coordinating the process.

I’ve also asked to be added to their mailing list and shared my property requirements at least half a dozen times now. Despite this, I’ve never once received a notification of new listings. What’s the point of sharing requirements if you have to constantly chase them for information?

Among all the commercial agents I use, many have their issues — but Bradley Hall are genuinely one of the worst for accuracy, communication, and basic organisation. I wouldn’t recommend them if you’re looking for a reliable or professional service.

Cannot say enough good things about Bradley Hall in general, but especially the Newcastle Gosforth branch team and the Auction team headed up by Louise & Beth.

Having had 2 open market ‘sales’ fall through when buyers pulled out before exchange, I decided to put my property up for auction. From the outset Louise was clear, professional & friendly, providing excellent advice and assistance throughout. The auction process with BH is very well-explained and transparent to both sellers and potential buyers I feel, and the availability of Louise and her team was very reassuring. They always replied promptly to phone calls and emails.

However, more than ‘what’ they did it is ‘how’ they did their work which I would really highlight. Anyone can be professional and do a good job, but Louise and everyone else obviously enjoy their work. They are sincere in their desire to help clients buy or sell. There is a real sense of being ‘looked after’ and ‘cared about’ by everyone, and for me this was especially so of Louise. I have given BH 5 stars as a whole but if I could give her 10 I would. She was a star herself !

I do not hesitate in recommending BH to anyone looking to buy or sell a property, especially if it is via online auction. Thank you to Louise and everyone who helped me during the last few months.

In my opinion, the service and customer care I received from Bradley Hall was completely unacceptable. Of all the agents I’ve dealt with and continue to deal with, this was by far the worst experience. I welcome the government’s new Home Buying and Selling Reform proposals, which aim to raise standards, improve transparency, increase accountability, and, in my view, better protect customers from agents like Bradley Hall.

Want to state that the Auction team at Bradley Hall have been AMAZING!!!

Louise was extremely helpful and so knowledgeable, professional and yet provided a very personal, friendly experience! Every communication was within a timely period of time and certainly guided us through the whole process making the auction sale a pleasant experience!

I have recently taken a commercial lease through Bradley Hall & was supported by Commercial Agency Surveyor - Lucy Mouter, her help & guidance was excellent throughout the process.

A very poor letting agent. Essential repairs on let property have not been done after 2 months in property. Promised redecoration has now been withdrawn.
Now long term leak in roof is causing mould on bedroom ceiling and still no action. Avoid this agent.

After what was an unexpectedly challenging process (nothing to do with the BH!), I can't thank Lucy Mouter enough for her persistence, patience and support given from start to finish whilst completing a commercial let in the city. Communication (which is crucial during this process) was impeccable, Lucy often going above and beyond in terms of reaching out when not expected or anticipated.

Sincere thanks to BH but more so Lucy, I can only commend both on a smooth and professional transaction!

Gary Dobson made our son’s experience of buying a first property effortless. He kept us informed every step of the way and nothing was too much trouble for him. He went over and above to get us the best possible deal and we are very grateful to him. Thank you Gary!

Found the process of accompanied viewings from Durham office to be poor; cursory at best with the agent lacking knowledge of even the simplest aspects of the house they were showing us. On a second viewing, without any notice, we were cut short 'as that is our company policy'. Given that we had gone out of our way to leave work early to enable our viewings to take place being hurried out after 21 minutes (with no notice) was unprofessional and unhelpful. To be told to come back tomorrow if we wanted more time was insulting. Suffice to say we are not proceeding with our offer on that property. A message has been sent today raising a complaint with the director supervising Durham branch (Peter Bartley) in the absence of a branch manager. Sellers be aware!

Absolutely rude and obnoxious, do not use!!

The manager Nigel Goodrum in the Morpeth office is very unprofessional, dismissive and rude (to put it politely). He has no interest in customer care and is a terrible estate agent.

No communication, never responds to emails and is very condescending when he does respond to emails or telephone calls (after a lot of requests). How can such a rude and unprofessional person work in an estate agents???? I have two minds to write to the ombudsman and the CEO as well to ensure his unprofessionalism and rudeness is communicated effectively.

Bradley Hall are the worst, I will steer very clear from this company. They are not nice very rude and disrespectful and have not a care in the world.

I have contacted this company 4 times now via email to there Teeside office and through there website using the names attached to the adds to view a commercial premises asking questions about the property but not had one reply. One contact I can understand if went astray but 4 in a week. You would think they would be keen to rent commercial premises and I wonder if the landlords realise they are not getting back to proposed tenants.

Complete waste of time and my question to you Bradley Hall why offer this contacting service if you are not prepared to reply?

Its hard for me to ring during office hours as working so I tend to do things in the evening when I am free.

We have used the Bradley hall mortgage brokers multiple times now and can say hands down they are the best around. We would recommend Gary Dobson to everyone! He is so lovely and helpful.
