This company is a scam, totally full miss this product never already arrived it. I am feel completely dumb on this situation. I am fool it. My money is missed. No return and no hopefully. Disapointed for everything! Not anyway recommend this poor/trash web store!

Absolutely awful, more than a month after ordering I don't have a tracking number, and they are refusing to refund me. I'm convinced that this company is a scam.

- UPDATE: i did eventually get what i originally ordered, and the quality was - for the price - pretty good. the experience overall was still extremely unpleasant and i will certainly never purchase anything from them again.

I ordered a projector from Brainiacs online store in november. Received confirmation that it had arrived in 3-5 weeks, but nothing came. Have been trying for customer support but just keep getting fobbed off or ignored. Looks like a lot of people writing here have had the same experiences.
Worst online shopping experience ever!

this company deserves neither a star nor my time. Nothing works, they do not return the money and also do not deliver the product!

This is a BIG SCAM! I have ordered and it took me months to get it. It's a plastic toy that has nothing to do with the ad. It's a big big scam and I have asked to be refunded and it's not happening. None even my young kids can play with this. Nothing works and i would not put $5 on that product. They told me they did not see the payment, they asked me to send a bank letter to prove the payment was sent and I did and now they want me to send the toy back to them and it's a $40 postage cost and I absolutely know that the repayment will not happen because this is a HUGE SCAM!

HOW CAN WE STOP THEM?

This website is a scam. Haven’t received my order from January 27 and I also didn’t get any update since then. Do not order from this site! I wish I can get a refund.

My thoughts about my experience.

1. You obviously don't have your tracking methods in place.
2. Your feedback loop is really warped.
3. There's a cost to delivery. Use the tried and tested couriers and negotiate lower costs.
4. Your tracking system should be linked to these tested ones. They are reliable.
5. This is the SMS I received to pick up my product. "You have an item to pick up @ Ikota post office. Come with a valid ID and handling fee. Failure 2 come within 3days the item will be sent back. Thanks."
6. I had to pay N500 as charged to pick up. So its better to pay to tested and tried delivery companies like DHL, etc.
7. My product doesn't have the rechargeable battery as advertised. This is unfortunate.
8. I like other products you have but I will only deal if you change your couriers.

Ordered a hand held projestor in early November for xmas. It's mid feb and still haven't received it!! Multiple emails to the company have resulted in only lipservice. I will NEVER shop here again! Very disappointing.

They advertised 3 x mini projectors for $79.99 and they took $316.20 from my credit card. When I purchased the item I took a screenshot of the receipt and then saw my account and seen how much they took out...I was VERY UPSET!!! When I emailed them why so much and where was my receipt details they sent me a completely different receipt. Isiah who replied to my emails avoided my questions and asked if I want to cancel my order, I’ve asked if I cancel do I get my money back and I haven’t heard back. They don’t even deserve one star!!!
I’ve learnt my lesson!

Scam. I filed a complaint with the FTC as well as the BBB on them. I also disputed the charge with my credit card company and got my money back.

The website is a scam - I never got my product and I can´t find the login page again.

The least I can say is that it is a scam and they are a bunch of thieves!!! I ordered a product (the ultralight portable projector) 6 weeks before Christmas of 2017 with the intention to give it as a gift.. As of today, February 4th 2018 I didn't receive the product. The funny thing is that on their tracker site it shows it's out for delivery since December 21st!!! I tried contacting them through email multiple times and every time a new person responds to me after at least 2-3 weeks from my email.. and the o my answer I get is "wait" and "we will check your order"!!! I told them I want my money back and since then no one responds!

Scam. I regret that I did not see your below comments, so I can avoid the f**king website. They performed the same to me, sent the notice about shipment, DHL tracking number and...nothing arrived. I checked with DHL and they said the DHL tracking number for different name and address.

Please kindly advise if I can complain to the bank for this FRAUD if the transaction was happened 2 months ago? I ordered on 6th December 2017 and now 02nd Feb 2018.

I will be reporting my experience to econsumer.gov who compile information to find scam companies. Worst online shopping experience ever!

The projector I ordered finally arrived (AFTER Christmas) and was of very poor quality. The picture was so grainy, it was unusable. I immediately packaged it up and returned it to the address listed online that is to be used for returns. Just received the package back in the mail, unopened and marked "return to sender." Unbelievable. I shop online all the time and have never had an experience as bad as this one.

I have just placed order today but have not received any confirmation email yet, which one generally gets within seconds of making the payment.

Then I read all these reviews and now I think I may not even get a confirmation email.

I have to be fair with Brainiacs. Earlier, I wrote a review giving them the worst possible score since almost 6 weeks had passed since I made my purchase and noe delivery had been made. When I read the other reviews on Trustpilot I panicked as all reviews but one went in the same direction. I was sure this was a scam and felt the need to warn others. HOWEVER, believe it or not, since then my purchase was delivered and everything was in order. My family is very happy with the present and that was the whole idea.
I still do not think that Brainiacs deserves more than 3 stars since they never replied to my inquiry emails and the tracking number - as well as the delivery company "Parcel Beagle" - did not seem to exist. I guess it does not matter much now since I finally got what I bought, but the whole process was far from stress-free.

Scammed. Exactly the same thing happened to me. I ordered the projector as a Christmas present, never received it, got the fake tracking notices, no response from Brainiacs customer service, etc. A complete SCAM. I have filed a complaint with the FTC for what it's worth.
