The advice and support is non judgmental, easy, straight forward, supportive and practical. After a lifetime of working in a career with babies and children I have a wealth of experience to share. An additional 3 years experience working in a special care baby unit with sick and premature babies and 21 years supporting parents overnight as a night nanny. This experience has enabled me to condence my knowledge and share it with parents who may have become parents for the first time. The advice, support and practical help in most cases takes place in the parents home. If the parents are overseas the help can be shared in an online meeting or phone call. Brenda came into my life at the perfect time. I felt pretty much at rock bottom after 15 months of cosleeping, breastfeeding to sleep and wakes every hour. We had all the sleep associations you could think of and I just thought my boy wasn’t a good sleeper.
Ive tried and failed with sleep training in the past so I was slightly hesitant at first, thinking I don’t want to spend a lot of money only to fail again given he was a toddler now and a pretty stubborn, strong-minded one at that.
But Brenda reassured me that her method will work if I just follow everything to a T and trust the process. So we went ahead and my life changed almost overnight. After 3 nights he was basically sleeping through 12 hours. Having Brenda on hand on WhatsApp to iron out any issues and just to get reassurance was so helpful. We stuck the course and now it’s been a couple of months and my life is completely changed. I not only have my evenings and sleep back but my mental health is so much better and I can be a better parent during the day with all my energy replenished for my lively and active boy.
Best money I’ve ever spent as a parent!

Brenda came to our home on the Saturday and by Monday eve Tippy slept 12 hours.
We were given bespoke and clear instructions/guidance to suit Tippy and had 24-7 contact for any Qs along the way, of which she replied promptly.
A month has passed and she has continued to sleep 7-7. It’s completely changed our lives in multiple ways! All of us are so much happier and we feel like we have our life back as a family and as a couple. We are very grateful to have worked with her.

I was co-sleeping for 5 months, desperate for change and for my son to sleep independently. He also had bad eczema which was keeping him restless and awake.
Brenda’s methodology and skill has lead to him sleeping in his own room, through the night, able to self soothe and much happier in himself and his skin has improved.

Our 4.5-month-old had gone from waking just twice a night to waking every 1.5 hours, and there seemed to be no end in sight. Exhaustion doesn’t quite cover it — we felt completely lost. We thought we were “doing everything right,” yet every source of advice seemed to contradict the last, leaving us unsure what to change or where to begin.

Brenda was a wonderful help with implementing a routine and sleep training our son. Before we started with Brenda our 6 month old “Velcro baby” was waking constantly through the night, co-sleeping, only able to sleep when breastfed to sleep and did not have a reliable nap schedule. After a week of Brenda’s routine our little boy slept through the night in his own cot! Brenda was extremely responsive and dealt with us completely remotely from South Africa. Brenda is firm but kind, she has so much experience and a natural instinct with babies, you have to be willing to stick to her approach and be consistent but the results will be well worth it! A lovely experience with Brenda! She assisted us in sleep training our 2 year old and 3 month old. We found her approach to be firm but absolutely effective and resulted in us now having two wonderfully sleep trained babies (and in turn… our full nights of sleep are back which we’re very grateful for!!) During the time she was with us- she was responsive, always on hand to help and we found that she often assisted us with issues outside of sleep training (such as digestion). I’d highly recommend Brenda to any new/existing parents who are struggling with lack of sleep and routine.

The experience was quite tough initially (lots of protesting from our little one) and Brenda’s style won’t be for everyone as she is very direct - but with a bit of patience and some small tweaks, she now sleeps through the night and is better at napping… it works, thank you!

Brenda is magic! Our son was an absolute nightmare to put down for bed and at 7 months was still waking several times in the night. The first night Brenda helped us he fell asleep immediately and slept for 12 hours. The process took about 2 weeks and it wasn’t always easy but Brenda was incredibly helpful, motivational and kept us feeling like we were on the right track. Her approach is very no-nonsense, rational and quite strict but it really worked for me and was an outlier among all the “responsive/gentle” approaches that didn’t work for us. My son is now nearly 3, has slept 12 hours ever since (and never fights or cries at bedtime). He’s an angel. We’re calling Brenda again for our 4 month old now to make sure we get on track early because nothing has made our parenthood journey easier than having a child who sleeps reliably!

Brenda is quite literally magic! within less than a week our son was sleeping 7-7 I couldn't believe it! Our son was a nightmare going to bed and was waking multiple times during the night. Since the day she visited our house and told us what to change its transformed our evenings and made everything so much better! She was always on hand with any questions we had and we didn't want our time to end with her we even extended it so we could have contact another 2 weeks. To quote a friend on the birth of our first daughter: “get rid of anyone else’s number; the only one you need is Brenda’s.” Brenda is a first-rate sleep trainer, who combines years of experience with a no-nonsense style that guarantees results in days. We worked with Brenda from days after our daughter was born, and she was on hand to answer all our questions and concerns. Both my husband and I were anxious about sleep but by following Brenda’s routine during the day, our daughter was sleeping through the night (with one 30m wake) by 4 months. The routine also gave us visibility on when our daughter would nap during the day which in turn made childcare much more manageable. I heard horror stories from my antenatal group of children not sleeping until midnight or starting their day at 2am, but with Brenda’s help we avoided those situations entirely.
