The advice and support is non judgmental, easy, straight forward, supportive and practical. After a lifetime of working in a career with babies and children I have a wealth of experience to share. An additional 3 years experience working in a special care baby unit with sick and premature babies and 21 years supporting parents overnight as a night nanny. This experience has enabled me to condence my knowledge and share it with parents who may have become parents for the first time. The advice, support and practical help in most cases takes place in the parents home. If the parents are overseas the help can be shared in an online meeting or phone call. Advice is very much a personal approach to the individual child and the uniqueness of that family life. Ethnicity and cultural backgrounds are always taken consideration as many families live overseas and parents come from diverse backgrounds. Above all I respond well to communication and support each family with the same enthusiasm with my job today as I did the first day I became a trained nursery nurse.

Brenda completely transformed our baby’s sleep. Previously we were dealing with numerous wakings, and barely getting a stretch of more than 3hours of sleep, often waking after an hour. Our baby now sleeps through the night and has settled well into their new daytime routine that Brenda provided.

Brenda set our daughter up to be a superb sleeper from 5month. So when we hit a regression and anticipated change from cot to bed at 2.8 we knew who to call to tell us what to do. As was before, Brenda steered the ship through the rocky seas and into the calm. We truly could not have gotten back to an ideal sleep routine for her and us with out Brenda. Her three week support means you get to witness the transformation from before to after the routine settles in. Her guidance sets you up with tools to be successful after her departure. She is wealth of knowledge and experience and so you get access to a lot of information and best practice.

Brenda is an expert. Top of her game. We cannot recommend her highly enough. She has transformed our lives as parents.
We consulted Brenda when our 5 month old’s sleep had gone awry over the preceding few weeks.
Brenda parachuted in to the rescue (her responsiveness to enquiries can only be unrivalled). Within a couple of nights our baby transformed from waking every few hours and with hideous drawn out bedtimes, to sleeping through (and properly - no dream feeds - 7pm to 7am). We now pop our baby down and walk out each night and there is no crying.
It was not only the sleep. Brenda also:
- Provided advice to help our baby accept a bottle (a success);
- Transformed our baby’s feeding - from being a serial snacker to having fewer fixed and effective feeds;
- Has changed our baby through the routines to a happy one (previously the days were difficult as our baby was often grizzly).
We knew what we should be doing, but executing it whilst emotionally intertwined was challenging. Brenda made us accountable to her, and caused us to follow through with what was needed. Her direct style yields results. There’s no messing around.

Brenda has been such a brilliant educator and support for us to get our baby into a routine that works & that is suited to his needs. We really appreciated her no-nonsense approach to the training and her strictness had firm reasoning. She explained why we needed to be strict with it and what would happen if we weren’t. Within a few nights we had weaned our (then 6 month) baby off his night feed & he slept through 7-7!
The WhatsApp support we had the following weeks was so helpful with a few tweaks made to the schedule based on feedback. Brenda was also quick to answer any queries we had. By the end of it we felt confident that we had the tools/understanding to keep going ourselves with our finalised plan.
We’d recommend Brenda to anyone who is thinking about sleep training, it really has been life changing! Our baby is happy in his routine and so are we. It’s been amazing to have our evenings back without thinking about dream feeds and inevitable night wake ups, plus knowing we will also get a good nights sleep ourselves is just great. We worked with her to sleep train our (almost) 6 month year old baby. Within 4 days we had baby sleeping in their own room and through the night. Brenda helped us to introduce a routine, which she strongly believes in, and gave us a kickstart on weaning.
The level of communication Brenda provides is fantastic. She is always very responsive to questions on sleep and other areas of care. She also takes the time to check in, providing a great level of support.
It was challenging to make the adjustments to begin with, when you're used to a certain rhythm with your baby. However, Brenda is on hand to answer questions and when you start to see the benefits for baby and parent it all starts to make more sense.
We are very grateful we took Brenda on!

Brenda definitely gets results! She came over to spend a few hours with us, meet our little one and see how we interact with him. She gave us a routine and over the next few weeks made little tweaks to build the right routine specifically for our little one.
We had tried the cry it out method before with no success, but within a few days with Brenda, bub’s sleep was transformed. We also got great advice on his eating and other habits.

Brenda really is the best investment you will ever make! She is very firm in her approach which was exactly what my husband and I needed as we were falling into bad habits, as we did with our first child. Brenda came to our house and spent time to understand us and our son, and within an hour and a half, he was sleeping soundly in his cot (something he had NEVER done!) We worked with Brenda for three weeks to sleep train our 7-month-old daughter. Her structured approach and practical tips helped establish a routine, and our daughter now sleeps through the night — which we’re grateful for.
However, the experience was emotionally challenging at times. Brenda’s communication style is very firm and, in our view, often lacked empathy. We felt judged rather than supported, especially during difficult moments like illness or travel.
If you’re looking for a strict, results-focused approach and can follow a routine rigidly, her method may work for you. But for us, the tone made the process more stressful than it needed to be. We’re glad it worked, but we wouldn’t recommend it to everyone.

We reached out to Brenda as Aris was waking up 5 or 6 times during the night at 8 months old. I was also feeding him to sleep for a lot of the night. I had reached a point where I couldn’t continue with the level of sleep deprivation. For the days, Brenda advised that Aris didn’t need a lot of sleep (the opposite of what I had been reading online). Her prescribed routine gave me the flexibility of doing one of the naps in the pram, and set out the meal times and milk quantities. Be warned- she uses the cry out method and is very harsh with her approach. It took Aris about 3 weeks to adjust which I found incredibly difficult as I did feel that it affected his mood- but it was worth it. He now sleeps 11 hours a night and naps are no longer a battle. We have structure to our day which make it easy for me to plan fun things to do around feeds and sleep! Getting Aris’ sleep under control has made my last few months of mat leave so fun and we have made special memories together. Thank you Brenda

After hitting a very rough patch with sleep when our baby was 6 months old, Brenda helped us get him to sleep through the night. Under her guidance, it took 3/4 days for him to start sleeping through the night up until recently!
He is now 2, and after 6 months of 5/5:30am wake-ups (which we thought we would have to just accept), he recently started waking up at night. We called Brenda again, and made some very small tweaks as she suggested - he stopped waking up at night screaming on Day 1, and after a couple of days he also started waking up at 6:30! Turns out, as he was growing older we had slowly adopted some habits that we thought were helping him sleep better, but were basically doing the opposite!
Our toddler is much happier when he sleeps well, the difference during the day is amazing. We are very pleased with her and would 100% recommend.
