I had quite a few hiccups purchasing my property due to my mortgage being a 50% ownership (part buy and part rent) and our seller holding things up generally. Throughout it all Paul was very patient, informative and ready to help in any way he could, he contacted the bank for an extension on my original mortgage offer and then organised the finding of another mortgage after further complications with the sellers management company. In the early part of this year 2021 against all odds Paul managed to secure a mortgage for our Daughter and her partner, they were first time buyers and was with gifted equity. I turned to Brick 2 Brick in November 2020 after attempting to get a remortgage. Paul was very professional and got on the case straight away, eager to get the right deal and best rates. He found a great deal immediately, but unfortunately, I was turned down due to late payments on a credit card that appeared on my credit report. I was feeling deflated, but Paul kept going and reassured me there were other lenders we could try. He quickly found another lender that was happy to say yes. As we waited for papers to be returned from the courts and with the lockdown in the middle of it all, everything slowed down and then the long waiting game began. Paul kept positive and checked in with me each month, liaising and chasing the banks solicitors ensuring that everything was on track. With the time running out on my offer and the waiting for documents to be signed, Paul made sure the offer from the lender was extended a further month. 7 months after we began this journey we finally reached completion. Patience is an under statement as Paul has this in abundance. Whilst there were some frustrations on us both in trying to get this resolved, we got there in the end.
