Delivery is too slow, or maybe I've just been ruined by Amazon, and some stuff I ordered was out of stock with no info about availability. Selection is good and lots of information available, which I appreciate.

Love the T-shirt, no problems ordering and the delivery was on time.

Brushy Mountain is my go-to place for bee equipment. Everything is high quality, website is easy to use, and their customer service is outstanding.

When you do not send all the orders immediately, I would like to know when I can receive the rest items.

I bought everything through Brushy Mountain I needed as a first time beekeeper to get my first hive up and running. The service was fine and the products arrived on time. However, the screened bottom board I received was defective (the brood box did not sit flush on the bottom board - I noticed a small gap between the to pieces in the back. I called and spoke to someone who said that is normal and is for ventilation. I spoke to a few of the experienced beekeepers at the club I belong to and they said it should not be like that. Unfortunately I asked them too late since the bees were arriving the next day. The only thing that saved me from that situation was that I had a slatted rack to put between the bottom board and the the brood box. Secondly, the hive top feeder is a death trap.The bees manage to get under the floats, get stuck and drown. Not bee friendly and it's terrible to have to scoop out a bunch of dead bees every time I feed. And one of the floats no longer sits properly in the well - I'm guessing the wood swelled but that float is now useless and I'm only using one side of the feeder. As soon as the honey supers are added I'm going to get rid of this feeder and purchase one elsewhere. Kind of annoying when I'll probably have to a costly shipping fee to order one item.

I bought two sets of 10, 9 3/8 frames with the wooden frame and the black plastic foundation and they said in the add that they were glued and stapled at the top of the frame. I opened the box when it came in and there were a few frames where the top of the frame had staples sticking up and were not glued. the top bar of the frame was not glued as well and the top was loose from the rest of the frame. I would think that with what you spend on these items that they would be as described in their add but they were not.

This is my first year and of course I needed EVERYTHING. I found it all here and at a very reasonable price. A couple of items were on backorder, so I just had them hold my order until everything was available. It was easy to get a hold of someone for updates and my items arrived quickly. Even easier to put things together. Slight problem putting foundation on the frames (again first year lol) but it's okay, they had a tutorial for that!

Wow, what a joke. I've placed dozens of orders from Mann Lake, Bailey's, Miller Bee... Thought I'd give Brushy Mountain a try...forget about it, they don't have their crap together. Ten minutes after placing my order they came back and told me some items wouldn't ship for free and it would be $32 extra!! I told them to remove those items. Then an hour later they email me and tell me something is backordered and they have to charge me shipping if I want it. Really? Their "free shipping" must be a scam so they can get your order and credit card info, then call and tell you that somethings wrong and they have to charge you. They seemed intent on charging me shipping no matter what. Forget this place.

Read their Facebook reviews, this is a continuing problem dating back to over a year. They often don't have inventory, then email customers and tell them they have to charge them extra for the backorders. Scam scam scam.

Quality materials delivered quickly make this site a great choice in my opinion when you need things to care for your apiary. Thanks for the great product and efficient service

Brushy Farm has made labels for our honey for two years running in different sizes. They are careful to make sure that the information is exactly as we wanted it before running the orders. The results have been nothing but excellent! We have bought the small honey bear jars, 8 oz and 16 oz jars and all have been of the highest quality.
