It was all very easy to do on line.

Horrendous I used confused.for a quote filled everything in correctly.a recent accident dropped the no claims down to 3 years .I paid budget £700 but the was threatened with pay extra £600 or they will cancell unless I provide proof of no claims .I forwarded an email from aviva stating 3 years no claims in line with request.
Given the runaround over phone calls I made .Them I found they returned part of the money I originally paid ,I have to presume I don’t have insurance cover.
The office I was contacting was in South Africa and they simply don’t care to help !!!

Very simple process, price was great and quick service. I am very pleased by my experienced.

I use a compare website to find car insurance prices.
I have used the website for years and it stores and links my driving history
BUDGET came up as one of the cheapest from similar prices.
I chose Budget and paid through the website.
The next day I received an email from Budget to say the price was wrong because my driving history was wrong. Budget wanted another £180
This made them higher than many others on the website. I accepted because I had amily hospital visits to cope with. Didn't need the extra stress.
Just be aware of Budget hiking prices after payment.

My Honda CRV was insured through Budget insurance. I traded my car through a Honda dealership for an almost new CRV and needed to cancel my insurance. Budget charged a fee of £60 to cancel the insurance, in order to get a pro rata refund of £21.35. I could probably accept an admin fee of £15 being about right, but £60!!!
What a rip off.

Very happy with the decision I made to go with Budget for this year’s car insurance.for the 27th April 2026.Also, very reasonable.

Easy company to work with

I’ve had a great experience renewing my car insurance. Budget Insurance gave me an excellent price which would be hard to beat. Highly recommended.

I had a slight problem with the website and a query so had to call Budget twice. Staff on both occasions were very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Query and issue resolved within minutes. Great price too!!

After a genuine mistake on my behalf on my details they were amazing by correcting my mistake for me many thanks for that I would recommend budget insurance to anyone they are very helpful

Fast and easy to set up

I contacted the live chat as my renewal was due in a few weeks. After nearly 1/2 hour waiting, got through to Ntombizodwa who asked the nature of my enquiry. When I explained my auto renewal was due and would like to cancel it as the policy was too expensive, they did not ask by how much or if they could do anything to help. They just explained our no claim discount proof was included in our renewal invite and they would also email to us. Shocking customer service and I'm surprised they retain any customers with this attitude. I will happily take our business elsewhere even if the new insurance quote was more expensive!

It was very straightforward and easy to do for someone who is not all that good on the internet. Everything went through very quickly.

Straight forward questions, clear to understand and it made it easy for me to change my insurance policy to Budgetinsurance with a much more competitive rate compared to my old insurance company and policy!
