I would have put zero stars if I could, if you want sell your property, please go elsewhere as they lowered the price of my property without consulting me and very very very poor photography does not show the potential of the house avoid at all cost.

Having been not overly impressed with another local estate agents in Ripley, Derbyshire, I decided to put my property on the market again with Burchell Edwards. I found their team in Ripley branch to be professional, friendly and, am pleased to say, were the estate agents that managed to sell my property second time around.
Mairead was brilliant in providing the weekly updates and this helped to reassure me that, unlike the previous agents I used, they were proactive in selling my property.
I would use Burchell Edwards again, and would recommend them.

Stay away from Burchell Edwards and Ashley Adams!! Also avoid the Nightingale Quarters in Derby to rent, you will be highly disappointed and miss sold a dream. The company were quick to declining us requesting to move our end of tenancy date by a day as we no longer needed the extra day that we originally requested (we gave 3 weeks notice) as this had ‘now all been agreed with third parties and cannot be amended’ but constantly called me and partner the week leading up to our end date, asking if we needed to extend our tenancy for any reason - anything to get extra money from you. They will also send you an unfair end of tenancy report claiming damages that were already in the property when you moved in. Absolute shambles of a company!!

Absolutely disgraceful!! 6 weeks it took an inexperienced “lettings manager” to do a zero deposit application to then move me into a property riddled with black mould! Environmental health got involved and closed the property down!! STAY AWAY!!!!!!!

i am an registered electrician in birmingham. and i done some work for a landlord because burchell edwards sent an electrician and quoted well over priced work that was needed to be done.
so after i done the work and issued a electrical installation condition report.
Sophie Hendy from Burchell Edwards messaged the land lord to say i was not a competent or registered electrician to which i found offendsive as i have been an electrician since Sophie Hendy was in nappies and been registered with NAPIT since 2013 and NICEIC before that .with a little work she could of found my details through NAPIT but couldn't be arsed to look

Absolutely unprofessional have had the worst experience possible keep booking appointments and email you on the day to say it's cancelled this has happened 3 times 2 no shows when I signed up with them they promised the world honestly have to say I'm disgusted with the lack of service. They don't answer their phones I surprised client's can even book a viewing, when you call them they just want to get rid of you as if your nuisance considering your are pay double the fees anyone else is charging. I'm shocked to see 4/5 stars certainly not the experience I've had with them. Castle Bromwich Branch Hurst lane i wish I read the reviews on Trust pilot I would have never choice them.

I have been dealing with Laura. Melissa & Suzanne from the Hucknall branch. Lovely helpful ladies. An estate agents that doesn't make you feel like a transaction. Property sold within 5 days a few bumps along the way but navigated professionally by the Hucknall Team. I would highly recommend them, thank you

DERBY BRANCH MORTGAGE ADVISOR A.P WORST EXPERIENCE THE 1ST TIME WENT OK WASNT GREAT TRY TO MAKE YOU SIGN UP TO THINGS THAT ARE UNNECESSARY. Went to buy my 2nd home and because of the abizmel communication lost out on it 3x..... because of slow service not responding to emails and forever chasing them to do their job. never get a xall bsck when promised and then to add salt to injury she doesn't take accountability for her neglengence. NEVER WILL I USE HER AGAIN!!! I made it very clear that her service was appalling they claw money out of you to do very little work. I came on trust pilot to leave a negative review which she is aware of me doing so I don't think she'll be surprised hearing about this... only to be unsurprised by alot of other people's negative reviews. I had to ask if she's over worked because clearly can't keep the pace. made me lose out and still took my money to do very little. you mayaswell find a private mortgage advisor which I have done now and has suited me thus far...useless is an understatement..... try to blame you for their appointments theyve made and missed. she's lucky I never put her name on blast. but stear clear DERBY BRANCH INTIALS A.P

Amazing service as always from Lee Peck at Burchell Edwards Eastwood! We've used Lee as our mortgage advisor since we bought our first property 6 years ago, through 2 remortgages and now for our next purchase which exchanged contracts today. His knowledge and support has been invaluable and nothing is ever too much bother! A genuine asset to the company and will look forward to dealing with him again when our next remortgage is due.

Honestly will never buy through these as I've been put off for life. I genuinely feel because I'm a first time buyer the estate agent felt that they could bully and push me into signing up to things I didn't need. All I wanted was a viewing on a property but was instead given basically life advice I didn't want or need. I had explained I already have a mortgage advisor and a mortgage in principle but was consistently pushed and bullied into signing up for their mortgage services. Came off the phone and instantly blocked their number because I was so upset and fuming at how rude I had been spoken to. Wouldn't buy a house from them now even if they paid me to.

Mairead in Customer Support was extremely helpful and patient, and made sure everything was looked after, which was really appreciated.

Extremely unprofessional staff at Sheldon Birmingham office. I’m disappointed with their behaviour and burchell edwards shouldn’t be in real estate business at all. They accepted my offer the house I was interested then without my knowledge reduced the price and sold the property without my consent.

Sheldon Birmingham branch people are extremely unprofessional as far as with my property they valued and put it on the market for 245k then after a week told me to put the price down for 220k then forcing me to sell for £190k. They are just disgusting people playing with people emotions.

Unprofessional bad people with rude manners they got No complaint procedures in place. They deserve a ZERO star please stay away from them.

Someone came over to value our house approx two weeks ago. He told us that he'd get back to us with the full report via email asap. My dad has called them several times to ask where this report is, and he's been fobbed off with excuses every time he's called as to why the guy can't come to the phone. Awful company to deal with. Won't be using them again!!!!

If I could give a minus number I would. DO NOT WORK WITH THIS AGENCY! We were mislead and told incorrect information in order to sign a lease. There is no effective communication between the landlord and agent. They tell you one thing on the phone and another on email to cover their own backs for legal action. They don't answer calls and DO NOT admit to their mistake. Stay clear do not get involved - particularly the Castle Bromwich Branch

All staff were very friendly, helpful and efficient in finding a buyer for my house. I would highly recommend.
