Hi i sold my laptop to this company 10 .07 .2017 . and i still waiting payment for my laptop. I try contact a lot of time but is impossible . Company not answer to call or email.In my opinion, many have suffered from this company. Guy you need go to citizen advise if you want get money back from this fake company ;)

First placed the order to sell my laptop on 1st October. Had email to say they'd received it 18th Oct, another email to say the quote had been revised on 24th October and immediately accepted new quote, so far so good. It's now 21st Nov and money still not received despite them telling me on 8th Nov I could expect payment within 3 working days to my paypal account. Emailed again on 15th Nov, no response and tried calling 21 Nov but they don't answer so another email sent... really should not have been this much hassle.

My first time using Buy my laptop website. Good and satisfying customer service. Best delivery system, easy to send my laptop to them. I am satisfied from the price I got. Well overall I would definitely recommend this website. Helpful staff

My second time using them, this time i gave in my broken Acer machine. An easy and quick service to get rid of unwanted laptops.

I am having similiar experience to other people on this site.They were very quick in collecting my latop on the 2nd march 2017, they state on their website that payment is made within 9 days,but since receiving my laptop, it has all gone quiet.I have sent email after email, and tried telephoning,but they don't answer the phone, it switches to an answer machine, and I have left some very angry messages.I have informed them that I intend to report them to trading standards and instigate a criminal investigation,if they dont pay me as agreed or return my laptop.But still no response.They have locked me out of the account I had to set up with them.Yes like so many other people I have been scammed and duped.BE AWARE!!!

absolutely disgusting. I will be issuing a small claims court claim shortly. sent laptop in January, value offered was well below that indicated initially. 4 weeks later I am still awaiting payment.
They don't answer phone and don't respond to emails
Next steps are:
I am going to pay them a personal visit. - personally and will be expecting my travel costs too.
If this fails I will be issuing a small claims court summons.
If that fails then I have some good friends in Croydon who may help.
This is actually theft so will also be reporting to Police.
Don't go near these shysters.

Similar story to others, claim a change of spec means they can only offer you a lower price so I said just return it. They then said they would honour the original price. Despite repeated e-mails they have still not either paid me or returned the laptop.

I sold my laptop in April, but even after a month I haven't got a response. They don't answer phone calls neither do they reply to emails. Eventually I got a quote saying the spec is different, but they didn't say whats the difference. Even after the deal was agreed 4 weeks back, I'm still waiting for the payment. Never deal with them unless you like the trouble.

I sent my laptop to BuyMyLaptop - estimated £70 which was better than any of the other websites. The courier arrived the next day as advertised and took the laptop. We didn't hear from them for two weeks so tried calling - They have never answered their phone whenever we have called. Occasionally they would give a one sentence reply to a detailed email such as "your payment has now been accepted".
After two months, they offered a lower quote of £58. We accepted reluctantly, despite having no fair reason for a lower quote.
After two more months of consistent emails with responses such as "your payment will be with you shortly", followed by "your payment will be with you within 24 hours", (and still no payment), I started threatening with legal action, and eventually, much to my surprise, they DID pay.

I would not recommend but with persistent pestering with emails and legal action, they may give you the money they owe... I think it probably is a scam as most people give up or forget a long time before I did...

It has been one month since I sent off my laptop to buymylaptop. I declined their offer after they deducted £32 from it! I have yet to receive my laptop back...

They do not answer their phones and they ignore my emails. I have reported this to BBC Watchdog and Trading Standards. Absolutely disgusting, they are nothing but lying thieves.

It's been 2 months and they still have not given me the money quoted. They don't reply to the emails sent to them.
The experience with this company has been horrible. Nothing but thieves.

Reasons to avoid, they don't answer their phones ( at any time of trading ) Their reply's via email are haphazard at best, the length of time has now exceeded their own terms and conditions ( not that they seem so bothered ) so am planning a small claims court case in 7 days as have to wait this long to meet legal requirements.
If you're in the same boat, Trading Standards UK now have a file open on them, and I'm updating them through CAB.
So my advice, if you want to sell use ebay or a major retailer, do not use Buy My Laptop UK unless you plan on being a victim of this theft.

These shysters have had my laptop for about 2 months. They don't reply to emails or answer the phone. It's theft. Don't use.

the deal was ok..got a lower quote which i accepted.payment took a bit longer due to paypal issues .but communication was really prompt and ok..will do business again

I received a great quote for my laptop. Took a little longer to receive payment however they did notify me that it was because of high volumes of orders. Overall I am pleased with my order and wish the new owners the best of luck.

The whole process of recycling my laptop was simple and easy to use. The courier collected my laptop the next day in a secure box, and I received my payment within a few days. Excellent service, would recommend.
