All of the staff were very friendly and helpful throughout the sale process, going above and beyond to assist me with choosing which car to go for. I dealt with a few different members of the team during my visits to the showroom, but Ryan was a great help in particular throughout the whole process.

All the team at BYD are great really helpful and friendly nothing is too much for them. Yasmin was fantastic during the whole thing and even after handover she rang to ask how things were going and just to pop by or email her if we have any questions which is super helpful. The initial visit to the showroom and chat with Ruth & Ryan. Ruth subsequently arranged a test drive for me and she accompanied me on the day. Ruth explained as much of the cars functions and high tec as she could during that time. I immediately fell in love with the car. On return to the showroom it took not much time and questions to decide on ordering the car. There was no pressure, just relaxed conversation and both ,Ruth & Ryan ask more than once if i was sure to go ahead with ordering the car. They have a very caring attitude, which I found reassuring and that I was looked after well.
Thank you very much for the lovely surprise and hand over yesterday. I was quite touched by the effort you and Ryan made. It made it special. Other car dealers could take a note out of your book.

Superb staff all well informed and particularly Ruth Saunders who was excellent from start to finish with her knowledge and clear guidance with a no pressure approach too which was so refreshing. Her aptitude to dealing with a tricky situation and gaining a sale has to be very highly commended

I have had a BYD on order via Tusker since December. It was due to arrive in March, but as I understand due to the sheer volume in that shipment it effectively got lost between arriving at Port and getting to the showroom. No one’s fault necessarily but there was a lack of customer care initially, where I was promised responses by various people at City West & Country but received limited calls and emails back to my queries despite chasing regularly. I then got in touch with a sale administrator called Josie Bayley in mid-April, and she took ownership of my case and seemingly went out of her way to chase it up and find out what was going on – she was extremely attentive and regularly made me aware of the current status and what she was doing to try and resolve it.

Within a couple of weeks she’d manage to find out when the car would arrive, and kept me fully informed the whole time.

Josie really turned around my whole experience. She was an absolute pleasure to deal and is an asset to the dealership.

The team at South West BYD Exeter, particularly Ruth and Ryan, have been outstanding. The level of care and communication was brilliant and they have made the experience of joining the BYD family so easy. Coming from a lesser service provided by Tesla, it made for a refreshing change to actually speak with people who take any concerns seriously and address with a level of urgency and provide solutions that were delivered rapidly. The BYD seal is an excellent car and the with the excellent service provided by Ruth and Ryan has made this experience 5 star.

7 months after ordering a BYD seal BYD South West cannot tell me when I'll be receiving my car. They advertise a 6-8 week lead time for cars not in Stock, I'm now up to 7 months with no delivery date insight. Please do not use these cowboys as you will only be disappointed

Booked a test drive online, got a call back to book a date and time which we did. They explained I would get a call the day before to confirm. No phone call came, phoned them first thing the day of the test drive, no answer so left a message asking to be called back, no call back, called them 50 minutes later again still no answer so left another message asking for a call back and was the test drive still on? No reply ! Called the Taunton branch asking if the Exeter branch was still open? Told it was open and they would try to contact them on my behalf, got a call back saying they couldn’t contact them either ! Didn’t go for the test drive as didn’t want to waste a 45 minutes drive each way. Got a call from them 5 mins past the time of the test drive asking if was coming ???!!!! If that’s how they treat customers who want to spend money who knows what they will be like trying to sort out a problem. 0 out of 10 from me, I will take my money elsewhere !

From when we first entered the Exeter showroom we were welcomed immediately with an offer of Tea or coffee ,we were looking at a BYD Dolphin and were shown around the model on display and an offer of a test drive,which we took.After the test drive there was no pressure to buy the vehicle, subsequently we did and on collection we had a thorough handover from Yasmin, altogether a terrific experience from start to finish.

Excellent company, price was obviously the first draw but the contact and support before we visited was excellent. We travelled from london and they arranged collection from the station. All staff were friendly and knowledgeable. The handover was excellent and not rushed and they followed up to check all ok. Yasmin in particular was excellent. Highly recommend.

I ordered a Seal U Comfort on a business lease from BYD Exeter. All has gone very smoothly. Ryan made the process easy - from the initial test drive to collection. Very pleased with the car.

We read about the opening of the new BYD dealership in Exeter with a great deal of interest as we've been reading the financial press and reports of the success of BYD worldwide. From the moment we met Ryan Jenner and his colleague, Chris, at the local Exeter Branch. we were extremely impressed. They have both been very attentive, very flexible, and very willing to cater to our needs. We took delivery of an Atto3 just after Christmas and after a little bit of getting used to it we are utterly delighted. What a magnificent piece of engineering with world class fit and finish. There's no doubt about it in my mind that the personal service received from BYD Exeter was the major factor in bringing us to this excellent brand. Keep up the good work. Well done..

BYD had been on my radar for a little while so with my old Toyota Aygo on it's way out, I decided to go and see Chris, Ryan and Yasmin. All three were super helpful, not just in educating me on EVs but also by taking the stress out of buying a new car. I couldn't be more happier with my BYD Dolphin, which arrived in just a few weeks. This was my first EV and after doing a bit of my own research, decided I'd like to look at the BYD. Chris and his team at Exeter were fantastic, excellent knowledge of EVs, really friendly and patient in explaining things. Lovely test driving experience, the BYD Dolphin is a beautiful car, drives really well, love the cameras and large screen. Highly recommend this dealership.
