Fantastic company
Smooth process from ordering , measuring and then fitting. The company kept me informed all the way through, clear pricing and easy process. The fitters Jimmy and Glen did an amazing job on the day fitting all new double glazed units into our wooden windows. They did a great job and a thorough clean afterwards too which was very nice and much appreciated. I'm having some more units done and I hope Jimmy and Glen come out again. Thank you.

Great Maintenance Support from Martin
Martin popped by today to look at my bifolds. No messing but very polite and friendly, he got down to business and temporarily fixed my bifolds so they are useable and safe. He has promised to get back to me with a quote to address all the issues and bring them back to full service. I could not ask for more - top man!

Professional Installation
I don’t usually write reviews, but my experience with Camel far exceeded my expectations. We recently had a large slimline patio door installed, and the entire process, from start to finish, was exceptional. From the initial visit to the showroom, where they recommended options that not only enhanced the appearance of my door and the view from my property but also saved me money by simplifying the design.
This exceptional service continued throughout the installation process. The surveyor who came to take the final measurements was thorough, and the installers were fantastic. Despite the fact that access to my property was quite challenging, they made the entire process look effortless.
The installation team was clean, tidy, and even took the time to demonstrate how to use the door and provided advice on how to maintain it to keep it in top condition. I absolutely love my new door and will be recommending Camel to anyone who asks.

New sliding door
From making initial contact with Camel Glass Steve arranged to visit. He really helped in guiding me through the different options of doors. I initially wanted a bi-fold door, but in the end decided a sliding door with small frames would suit better to take advantage of the view. The surveyor Darren explained the different options in how the areas around the door could be finished and the fitters were so polite, clean and tidy. I’m so happy I trusted in Steve and paid the extra for a sliding door. Really glad I chose Camel Glass and can’t recommend them enough.

Glen and Caine, the guys who came to install the replacement double glazed units were superb, hardworking & efficient and really nice friendly people. Initially pleased with new patio doors…
Initially pleased with new patio doors and windows for our lovely apartment in Cornwall . However we have since discovered that the head of the key is too wide and unless it’s in an upright position catches on the closed door causing it to damage the paint. Unfortunately customer services at Redruth accept no responsibility and advised me to source a different key - very disappointed as it seems to me that this key and lock is not suitable.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re pleased to hear that you were initially happy with your new patio doors and windows, and we’re sorry to learn of your concerns regarding the key and lock mechanism.
As explained by Cameron at our Redruth branch, it is standard operating procedure not to leave keys in the lock when the doors are closed. When left in place—particularly if not in the upright position—the wider head of the key can catch on the adjacent door and unfortunately damage the paintwork.
We understand this may not be ideal, and while the lock functions correctly, the design assumes the key is removed after use. As advised, the available solutions include sourcing a key with a smaller head, changing to an alternative Euro cylinder, or adjusting the door spacing—though the latter could introduce draughts and is not generally recommended.
We do appreciate your feedback and are happy to support you in finding the most suitable option. If you have any further questions or would like assistance, please don’t hesitate to contact the Redruth team directly.

Excellent Company, contact with the office, kept us updated with progress.
Delivered and fitted on the day that was booked (today!)
Gavin, the fitter was helpful, curtious and professional and left the area clean and tidy.
Obviously it's just been fitted, however due to the professionalism of the Company I am sure any issues that may arise would get sorted promptly.

Martin was very efficient replacing our double glazed units in the bathroom and the double doors in the lounge. He was friendly, quick, efficient and did an excellent job. I would highly recommend him and his work ethic.
