Brought a car off them
Brought a car off them , they have provided me with non legal thread tires then I find out the clutch was going as well as the fly wheel I also come to find out there oil leaking from multiple places so far spent £1000 on the car in the space of 4 months just wondering what’s next and they always claim everything is wear and tear and that’s how they get away with stuff also currently doing a claim against them as I do not believe this much should happen to a car and what I got advised by a mechanic was the engine is not healthy and also in the process of getting my bread pads changed as the first day I got the car it started making noises when I break. THIS IS JOURNEY SO FAR WONDERING HOW MANY MORE TIMES IM GOING TO HAVE TO SPEND £££

I didn't want to leave one star
I didn't want to leave one star, but it won't let me do zero, carcart bought my car through auction, 2 guys came to inspect before purchase, came up with a load of bullcrap about oil in my coolant tank and head gasket going, I took the car straight to an independent garage who checked everything over, no oil in the coolant, nothing wrong with the head gasket. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE what a waste of my time and theirs

Bought An Astra Gtc from here last July. Seemed fine driving home. The next morning the car just wouldn’t go into gear without major force, after 5-10 minutes of driving this eased. This continued and within days we had numerous patches of oil all over the drive. They refused to pay for our drive to be cleaned. Turns out there were 4 separate leaks including leaking clutch fluid, a new clutch cylinder was also needed . Four times they had the car back attempting to fix it, we asked for refund several times and we were fobbed off even offered an extra years warranty, the warranty is not worth the paper it’s written on. We fount this out when 2 months after purchase the timing chain dropped. We had a massive bill. We sold the car and cut our losses. Over £1500 lost in the space of a couple of months.

5 Star Buying Experience
I don't normally write reviews although prior to purchasing I did read some of the negative reviews so was a bit concerned although went ahead anyway as they had the car I wanted at a good price. Based on my experience similar to another reviewer I had an excellent buying experience with Carcart, no movement on price, but a couple of issues with the car which they agreed to resolve prior to collection these were sorted as agreed and the car was ready when arranged. I have given them 5 stars as genuinely that was my experience with them.

Brought my car home, pulled into the driveway and the engine management light illuminated. I contacted them a day after purchase and they offered to collect the car, I checked the oil to discover it was on minimum and was leaking. Carcart refused liability and two years later I’ve lost about 10 grand. Don’t go near them, alarm bells ring about all of their reviews, take a look at how similar and cheesy they all are.

CON ARTISTS
CON ARTISTS, i bought a faulty vehicle from here (must have been in an accident) found this out after purchase, on way home the dashboard lit up like a christmas tree, 6months of the car sat on the drive because of pandemic finally went to use it and 5 different warning lights came up and also service light, i’ve been very patient with them but on this occasion they said in a legal email that because it was out of the 6 months warranty (by 4 days) there is nothing they are willing to do, Avoid at all costs unless your happy to buy a banger!

Not understanding these negative reviews here, my experience was the total opposite and I can't recommend this company highly enough...Well over 3 months since I purchased the car it developed an unforeseen fault common to the model, they could have told me where to stick my car but instead I was provided with a courtesy car, and the option to either return my car or have it fixed, I chose the latter and my car was returned within a week at no expense to me!!! Hassle free buying experience and outstanding after sales care....They have earned both my trust and future custom!!!

do not buy a car from this business - the vehicle I purchased was riddled with issues, £2grand and a letter from carcart’s solicitors later, I’ve gotten nowhere. Now it’s being taken to the small claims court. Carcart offered to pick my car up (50 miles away from them) but advised that they wouldn’t be able to bring it back to me and couldn’t guarantee that they would resolve the issues it was at this point that I took it upon myself to get the car repaired myself and sent them the bill, they have refused to cover this and are now going to have a court case on their hands. They write false reviews about themselves, (the owner just so happens to be friends with the one 5 star Facebook review author that they have) - they have denied responsibility for the issues, offered to resolve and then withdrew, advised me at one point to get the car repaired and to send them the bill, then when I called back told me this wasn’t possible. I can personally say that I have spoken to many many (6) customers of Carcart who have also had the same experience, whilst their cars appear to be well priced, they’re all faulty & have unrecorded damage, most purchased at auction (I have managed to confirm multiple cases of this, this is also where my car was sourced from, either by them or by their supplier).
AVOID CARCART LIKE THE PLAGUE.
Very happy
Bought a car from them last week and I can’t fault the customer service. They were honest and helpful and I did not fee pressured to buy like other garages. I also had a small non mechanical problem with the car after I bought it which they fixed free of charge straight away even though it wasn’t under my warranty. I love the car and I’d definitely return to carcart.
Brought a car just over a month ago…
Brought a car just over a month ago within a week driving it there was noises coming from the brakes checked the mot online to see that it was advised brake pads disks and bottom arm and they hadn’t been changed before the sale as I wasn’t given the mot certificate or notified about this. The customer service hasn’t been helpful at all wouldn’t recommend this place at all. I have now got to cover the cost for the parts myself when the car is still under warranty
In response to your lies..
In response to your lies... Not once did you offer me an extended warranty, the oil cooler itself was £155 the going rate for a brand new part with the seals and gaskets. The labour rate of the garage is what it is, to make matters worse the water pump also failed.. Both of these issue would have been visible before I purchased the car. I asked you to look at it and you couldn't due to your garage being closed... Regardless of cost and labour rates you cowboys sold a car with two major issues, you either need to be more honest or find better mechanics who check your vehicles over before selling them. The whole cost should have been covered by you as I had the car for less than 3 weeks and only drove about 60 miles in it. You are lucky I didn't move to reject the car, which is something I now regret. Walking in to your dealership was the worst idea I have had... For anyone wanting to purchase a car... STEER CLEAR OF THESE COWBOYS... I'm not the first and won't be the last these guys do the dirty on. You also have not fulfilled your part of the deal, my spare key still has not been sorted out.

Sold a dodgy car which had a leaking oil cooler and then to top it off a ceased water pump all in the space of 3 weeks. The 3 month warranty that comes with car is administered by a company Handler protect who look for every which way not to pay out on a claim. The first repair went OK ish with Carcart covering 50% of the cost that the warranty company wouldn't, they should have covered 100% of it and then with the 2nd repair Carcart have washed their hands and put it all on the warranty company who only paid £107 of a £255 repair. Stay clear of this company, start of great, professional until there is a problem.

Great company
Great company. Excellent customer service. Evaldas is a great bloke, Friendly and professional. Good range of cars. Very helpful. Very pleased with the service I have received. I would highly recommend them and would use them again.

Was sold a car which broke down multiple times in the first 10 days and refund has been refused.
Edit: It is not wear and tear - head gasket and timing belt also faulty.
The car no longer starts and the warranty you have sold also seems worthless. Currently in the middle of a claim against the dealer
Edit: Car is not starting - waste of money. Significant issues not just wear and tear..... add faulty alternator to the list of faults above.
