The car (mention the model if you like, e.g., a Volkswagen Polo) was spotlessly clean, in excellent condition, and very fuel-efficient—exactly as promised. The pickup and drop-off process was incredibly smooth and took only a few minutes.

Scammers. They tried to use the deposit with ni justification ( after me making full protection and bringing the car in the sane condition). Not recommended.

Last-minute cancellation despite confirmed and paid booking!

I booked a car through Booking.com with Car Rent Sofia for a week. On arrival at the airport, the rental company refused to pick us up as agreed, claiming they had not received the payment (which had indeed been debited) and saying they had no cars available. They hung up abruptly, telling us to "deal with Booking."

Booking automatically redirected us to the rental company, without direct customer support, and no replacement vehicle was offered. It was a Sunday morning, we had hotels booked outside Sofia, and we had to check several rental agencies at the airport before finding a car ourselves, over three hours later.

The refund was only issued 7 days later, and only after I followed up. Since the reservation was cancelled in their system, I was unable to leave any feedback on Booking, which is unacceptable.

No professionalism, no customer service, and opaque practices. Strongly not recommended.
