I’m afraid I have to agree with most people - do not buy from this store! It took almost 3 months for my “coat” to arrive. I attempted to cancel the order many times and then notified them that I would be returning it .Once I received it, I notified them and then was told that I could not return it because it was 14 days past the delivery date! I wish I had known about these reviews or I wouldn’t have gone near them with a 10 foot pole!

sadly I have had the exact same experience. Courtney always emailed me saying I would receive my coat. I never did. I reported this to credit card company and received a credit.

This is a store from China. They are scammers and thieves. I am informing my visa bank that they basically stole 70 American dollars from me. It took absolutely forever for the item to arrive and it was tiny. And then when I told them I needed to return it because it was too small, they asked me to measure it and send photos of the tape measure against the item. Unbelievable!!! When I made complaint on their facebook page they removed it or hid it. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY....as usual, don't buy from any china company. I should have checked. REPORT TO YOUR CREDIT CARD COMPANY....THIS IS THEFT

Coat arrived like a rag, so dissatisfied it's not worth a fiver nevermind 50 quid I would give Zero if I could don't buy anything from them, no way to return it either, total scammers and thieves Dont buy.

I wish I could give a Zero. I'm dismayed and wish I had read the reviews as well before ordering. The product is OK, but not great - I was actually pleasantly surprised at the quality because I was starting to suspect it would be poor. HOWEVER, there is the "Courtney" customer service "rep" who answers every email. Super rude and poor communication. The coat took almost 4 weeks to arrive. And now reading its impossible to get a refund, I am going to have to eat my $50 (it was on sale).

DO NOT BUY FROM CARINE!!!! The picture looked nothing like the coat I bought which ended up being much too small for me even though I read the reviews. When I asked to return it they wanted me to send them pictures of the coat next to a measuring tape to prove it was too small!. Then when I insisted upon the return they said ok but I would have to ship it to England (from the US) which would cost as much as the coat. The coat cost $80 and it was the same quality I could have bought from an Asian clothing store for $35!

Let me add my experience which, based on what I've read, is a new one and quite possibly the most heinous customer service response anyone offered ever. Setting aside the month-long wait from order to delivery, the small raincoat was big enough for 3 of me. When I emailed Courtney about returning it for a refund, here's her response. You sitting down?

Our items are true to our measurement table but are measured manually, and there might be a 1-3 cm error. In order for us to verify your concern, please send us photos of the product you received against a measuring tape/stick.

Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha. Exemplary customer support.

Based on similar reviews, I'll sell this for pennies at my next garage sale.

What are Instagram's policies about a scammer vendor like Carine?

I, too, would give them ZERO stars if that was possible. My experience is the same as everyone else’s. The raincoat I received was two months late and much too big when it eventually did arrive in it’s shrink wrapped parcel. I sent it back from Canada to the address in China by mail, as a courier was going to to cost almost the price I had paid for the coat. I thought it would be less of a hassle to ask them to send me a smaller size than give me a refund, although I did not like the coat. I was told by our postal service that the package would arrive in China in 10 to 14 days. After a month, I checked on the progress of my return. They demanded that I provide a tracking number, which I could not. I explained three more times to them that I could not give them a tracking number because it had been sent by mail, and each time I got an automatic reply from “Courtney” asking for that tracking number. I wrote twice to their customer service line, to no avail. I have now given up in utter disgust. My advice is to NEVER deal with this company.

Good lord! How I wish I had read the reviews before I ordered a raincoat. I can't review the coat because event though it's been two months, I still don't have it.

I wish I had read some of the reviews for this company before ordering. Absolutely awful products and customer service. I purchased a coat online and chose the size based on the recommendation of a company associate. When it arrived, it was far too large (in addition to being made of an awful cheap material, and all crumpled up in a small package from China. I then found out that I had to return it to the UK with tracking in order to get a refund, when the cost of the tracking from Canada was equivalent to that of the coat. I returned the coat without tracking in August and it's now some 3 months later and I have yet to receive a refund despite following up with the company. I paid for the coat, and then I paid extra to return the coat and I have nothing. The company meanwhile, has the money that it made from selling me the coat and will be able to resell the coat as well. I rarely go out of my way to do reviews such as this but the entire experience has left such a bad taste in my mouth that I want to make sure that others don't fall into this trap.

First, shipping was delayed,although they did notify me. Item was shipped from China altho company is in UK.. Minimum cost for returns is $24.Returns are made very difficult despite their website promises. The merch was ok but size recommended was too large for me.First,they asked me measure the coat and take pictures to prove it was the not the size they advertised! When I insisted on a return for a refund without such nonsense, I had 48 to prove the item was on the way back . Who does that?

Just a followup on my last review. She received her money via my credit card and claimed the order had been shipped. When it did not arrive i filed a case with my credit card company and eventually received a full refund. My plan was if the order eventually came I would see if it fit, etc. and, if satisfied, would send her payment once again. it has now been a month and still no order. As I previously stated be careful as this company appears to be a total scam.

The item that I purchased did not fit. The raincoat was too large in the body and the sleeves were too short. It was made poorly. I went to return the coat and realized that I had to send it overseas where the cost of shipping was so expensive. I contacted support and they said to take a picture of the coat and then they said to send it back. I sent it back in June 2019 and it is now almost December 2019 and I still have not received a refund. I have written to the company three times and they can't seem to find the return. I will never order from this company again. Bad merchandise and bad customer service. Stay away.

The item I purchased did not fit well. It was too large in the body and the sleeves were too short. When I purchased this item I knew I could return it. HOWEVER, I did not know I would have to send it overseas where the cost of shipping would be just shy of the cost of the item itself. I contacted support and they gave me a line about publishing measurements. (Even if you publish measurements, there are variations in the way things sit based on the frame of the person wearing the items). I told them I felt it was unfair that it was so costly to send this back. I offered to take a 65% refund, and donate the item to a local charity (and I would provide a donation receipt) to not go through the expense and hassle of sending this back overseas. (I have seen this item "on sale" so suspect the markup must easily be 400%). They were not cooperative. I asked to speak with or have a supervisor contact me. This never happened. All I can say is if you purchase, make 100% sure the item will fit you. Their return policy may as well be non-existent. I think it should be published as you are checking out that refunds may be subject to customs charges -- this would have been a red flag for me for sure.

This store does not deserve even one star but one has to give a star to be able to write a review.. It is much worse than “bad” it is fraudulent advertising. I believe they steal pictures of quality merchandise from reputable companies and manufacture dollar store versions of the absolute poorest quality. They then sell for quality merchandise prices. The shipping is ridiculously slow without tracking and one excuse after the other for why this is so. Even though one would assume it would be the company’s fault that the merchandise is so poorly made, Carine takes no responsibility and the expense for returning for refund is on the consumer. The cheapest shipping I found was more than half of the purchase price of my order and did not include tracking. Given the deceptive nature of this company, one would venture to wonder whether Carine would even acknowledge receiving the return. DO NOT BUY FROM CARINE unless you enjoy throwing money at deceptive companies producing extremely poor quality merchandise.

If I could give zero stars I would, it is impossible to cancel an order, even after it has taken them 5 weeks to ship it. The item I ordered was only $65, to ship it back at my expense it will cost $40. They do not pay for return shipping. It took soooo long to get here I found another coat and bought it.

Next the quality of the product is exactly what you would expect from a Chinese company. Cheap, shoddy and not worth your money. I found a great coat on Athleta for a few more dollars and much better quality. DON'T waste your $$$$!

I ordered a rain jacket after seeing it advertised on Facebook. I checked the website to make sure I would be able to return it if it didn’t fit and it said “Easy Returns!” Well, that turned out to be a joke.

The jacket was too big, but since it was the size I ordered, I was given all kinds of instructions to measure it and send a photo of the tape measure against the garment, then compare it to their measurements listed on the website. In other words, since they sent the size I ordered, it wasn’t their responsibility to send me a jacket that fit me, unless I could show that the garment didn’t match the measurements they cited. Wait, what?

They clearly don’t subscribe to the “customer is always right” and wouldn’t work with me to simply send the better size and let me return the big one. I finally got tired of the back and forth emails with “Courtney” and decided to keep the jacket, even though it’s too big on me. I’m just glad it’s not too small, because I would’ve been stuck with something I couldn’t even use.
