Amazing company excellent sales team i bought my car online i had not seen the car however the car is exactly how they advertise.i spoken to few sales team they very polite and professional and friendly.

I was against buying in this way to start with as this is not a method I have used in the past. Having spoke with Lily and Lara they both provided a high end level of service and my mind was put at ease. The car arrived with by a professional and the overall purchase looking back was easy.

Possibly the worst experience I have had ever buying a vehicle, or anything come to that, and I'm only 5 days in to the ownership!!!! So the purchase side was pretty painless (funny that as they have my money now), and delivery was ok. This is where the fun starts. I find issues with the car and missing documentation etc. I call the customer services and a very polite person takes my details and explains that I need to attach photos/videos of the faults. I do this and await a response. Nothing back. So I call up and as in a previous conversation with customer services where I had to send documentation for delivery, my emails had apparently gone into the wrong folders or similar. The customer services person also laughed and said that this has been reported within the company numerous times. I did point out that I didn't think it was a laughing matter! Once again I was asked to resend, but I was also told that my issues would be forwarded to a manager and I would get a priority call ASAP. Guess what? Yep, nothing AGAIN. So I chased up again and again with calls and emails, and still no reply. I then tried to use the Complaint process on their website, and yep, you've guessed it, the link lets you fill in your details and then errors when you try to submit it. I tried this numerous times on numerous browsers in case it was a browser issue. So this tells me that they are trying to stop people raising complaints to keep their figures down. I am sure there is a legal compliance obligation to have this working, but I'm going to pursue that separately. CarNext if you are reading this, you should be ashamed of the way you are treating your customers. Just grow a pair and call me back will you!!!
A quick update. So after calling the customer services number yesterday morning (as requested by the carnext response to this original review) yet again I was promised a call back with an update, and goes what, NOTHING!!!! That is now 5 different customer services people that have lied to me. Shocking behaviour for a big company. I think the next move is to contact a financial ombudsman and some sort of consumer body to see where I stand as if the car goes back, I will need to recover costs etc. You should be ashamed CarNext. I see why your CEO and COO resigned earlier this year. I really wish I'd done some research on this company before making my purchase!!!!!

The worst car buying experience. Stress, sleepless nights, fake promises. I really hope people read this and fully consider buying a car from car next. The stress and anxiety this company has caused, I wouldn't wish it on anyone. I applied for finance on a car with a large deposit. The loan was paid on to car next on the 30th of June. The car was not delivered untill the 7th of July. The car arrived faulty with no working key. It was faulty and I contacted car next to resolve it. They told me it would be fixed. 9 days passed until any arrangements were made to fix the vehicle. I informed them that I wouldn't be able to return the car and get my money back because I've gone over the 2weeks to cancel the the finance. They informed me that this wouldn't be a problem because when I reported the problem that they wouldn't be any 14 day period on the car. They returned the vehicle after 5 days being in the repairs shop. The car returned still faulty. So I inform them that I wanted to return the car get a full refund and try and get another vehicle. This was the end of the 2 weeks. I also informed the finance company of the problems that I faced and gave them information about there problems. I was offered nothing to resolve or fix the problems by car next and was told I could get a full refund and I could apply for finance to get another car. unfortunately because I've gone over my two week Grace period with the loan company I can no longer apply for finance. so now after weeks and weeks of stress and fake promises I am left with no car,no deposit and many many sleepless nights. So I hope people read this and not buy a car from car next because, it would just be nothing but stress anxiety a truly horrible car buying experience.

Car not clean and delivered late. They never transferred ownership so received no V5C. Called customer service but they were never able to help and was never called back despite repeated promises. So had to pay DVLA £25 myself to sort it. Had to also service the car as it was due one. When you spend over £30k on a car you expect better service that this. They also left the previous owners personal details and documentation in the car - they obviously hadn’t even checked the glove compartment. Although happy with the car - the customer service is the among the worst I have experienced.

My daughter found the car she wanted on car next and it seemed a good deal that the car would be covered by a warranty, 14 day money back guarantee and delivered quickly! There were lots of photos and I have bought a car without seeing it before and had no problems so was hopeful that it would be a good experience ... how wrong we were!
The car arrived on the Wed (when we were told it would be the Fri, so insurance etc wasn't set up when we were left with the car, couldn't even take it for a test drive!) The company didn't even know it had been delivered - phoning on the Thurs to check we had the car insured for the delivery on the Fri ....
The car arrived with scratches, scuffed wheels, tyres just on the legal limit and a fault with a window trim but we felt confident to get these fixed because they have the '14 day guarantee'. We got in touch with the faults on the car and that's where the cracks show! 14 Days of phone calls/emails getting nowhere, send photos and nothing! My daughter kept chasing and they eventually came back saying it's wear and tear on the car (it's only 3 years old!) but they do agree to fix the window trim!
We book the car in thro Peter Vardy and the service gets even worse! They have had a month to sort out what they need to fix the car - they even phoned yesterday confirming the time to drop the car off and what needs fixed. We turn up this morning to find out they don't have the part so she is back home (after my daughter having to give up a shift at work to take the car in!)
We have now had the car 2 months and they still can't sort the issues. Peter Vardy blames Car Next for having not sent them details of what needs fixed - we contacted Peter Vardy to book the car in and not once did they ask to see the car to see the fault!
Now I do believe Peter Vardy are at fault for not having the part however if CarNext had done their job in the first place we wouldn't be faffing about trying to get it fixed. They quote 'every inch of the vehicle is inspected and thoroughly washed by hand. A dedicated team of experienced professionals guide the car through any refurbishment needed'- the car was delivered with a shocking valet - we have found a child's dummy lying in the car, paintwork is covered in swirl marks and how come they didn't fix the trim as part of the refurbishment if they admit now that it needs fixed - 'experienced professionals' miss this.
After 2 months of going back and forth and my daughter missing a whole days pay because of even more incompetence they just say they are 'really sorry' doesn't really help us does it!
Why can't they sort this out and get her car how it should have been from the start. She has lost out on her pay today but apparently the 'sales contract' says they are not liable for this loss - surely after 2 months of our inconvenience you should be doing something to make up for this shocking service and ruining the enjoyment of a new car for my daughter!
The girls on the phone are very polite and it was easy enough to buy the car but that's the only reason I leave 2 stars but I would encourage anyone to think twice before purchasing from CarNext.
Update. Lara did contact us and did get the window trim fixed via Peter Vardy and my daughter did get £100 compensation. Could not fault Lara. We discussed our experience with Lara so hopefully our feedback might help future customers but the above is our experience and it’s taken a lot of time and effort on our part to get one of the faults on the car repaired! We will have to fix the rest ourselves.

Dominica was very thorough from the start of the process, she made sure that the car I bought was exactly right for what I needed. I have bought cars previously and no sales person has been as vigilant as her. She communicated with me throughout the whole process which made me feel more comfortable. She gave me multiple options to choose from and being a dad of 3 With a lot of fussy expectations she gave me a really good experience.

The initial dealings with CarNext were so positive, but the second I signed for the purchase, it was a catastrophe of problems. Three different delivery dates, lovely salesman who washed his hands of responsibility as soon as there were issues, numerous changeable hoops to jump through (purchased car for friend yet still needed to insure the car in my name even though I’d never be behind the wheel is just one example), they registered the car in the wrong name despite having the paperwork to say otherwise, and to top it off we had a resident mouse in the car! (Not the end of the world...just the end to awful service and a bad experience).
Initially we were prepared for 10/10 review and we’re even looking to return to purchase our daughters’s car from there. Would never return now and would strongly recommend our family and friends not to either.

I had never heard of CarNext, until I saw them on autotrader. Of course I was quite apprehensive at first, but that feeling soon disappeared.
Called them directly to arrange a viewing of the the car, and was fortunate to get an appointment the same day. Went to the Milton Keynes CarNext, and if I was honest I didn't have high hopes. That soon changed when I saw the car, and was throughly impressed. Literally have gone to various garages looking for cars, and the cars look great on the photos, but when you look at them in person it's a completely different story. Mark my words all the cars at CarNext, are literally showroom standard, what you see on the photos is what you get in person. The only downside was due to Covid19 I wasn't able to test drive the vehicle, but all the cars come with a 14 day money back guarantee, so I wasn't overly concerned.
Got the contracts and money transfered, the customer service team were on hand to answer any questions and queries promptly. I had the pleasure of talking to Samaah, who helped me a great deal in getting my car sooner. Car next was able to deliver the car to my home address by Wednesday, but due to work commitments I needed the car sooner. I asked if it was an option for me to collect the car, instead of waiting for delivery.
I explained this to Samaah, and she was able to arrange for me to collect the car in person on the Saturday, she was always on hand to ensure I got all my paperwork in terms of road tax and insurance sorted promptly, which as a result ensured my car was ready for collection on Saturday.
A great experience with CarNext made even better with the customer sales team. I just wanted to say a massive thank you to you Samaah for your help and for making this process as smooth as it was. All the best
