Sent gold and received my offer which I accepted.
Professional customer care from Thomas from start to finish. Had minor hic up with bank transfer though Thomas rectified the issue. Will definitely be using Cash for Gold again.

I posted items on 14th May and have been trying either to talk to someone or get someone to email me since then. In the letter that arrived with the gold selling pack it stated
Sit back and a senior valuer will contact you with your fantastic offer within the next 24 hours.
That has not happened and as you may appreciate at this moment I believe this to be a scam, perhaps someone from the company might like to contact me and put my mind at rest

Up-date this review with 1 star originally given prompted someone to contact me and we finally did a deal but not at the initial price quoted. It is such a shame I had to resort to posting a bad review to get action from this company. Some of the reasons I was given I believed but there was also some I am afraid I couldn't. The money came through quickly once a price had been agreed. I have reviewed up to 2 stars now and if I hadn't had the initial bad experience it would have been more.

Easy to work with ..only problem was getting a status update but got back to me within couple a hrs and remember ppl always haggle!! Do not take 1st offer ..I got extra 10% on top off the 300plus for scrap..I'd use them again ..In fact scratching around now for silver too!!

Don't send them your gold. They will rip you off and pay nearly 50% less than other places. They damage your gold when testing it and then offer you a ridiculous price and tell you some rubbish about the prices on their website being spot prices. I got offered 1k for a 4 k necklace that as scrap I was offered 2.2k at a local shop. Will never send them anything again and would urge people to try your local jewelers first and support local business not these con artists

Top tip. Always ask the actual price they pay to compare.

I have sent some gold and have received an offer which I was less than I expected, however after discussions, they have now paid the rate similar to other scrap companies. Please note that the price of gold at the top is not the scrap price so don't get fooled thinking you'll get that. They don't have scrap prices on their website.
Do your research and compare prices and don't feel the need to accept offer if you don't think it's right. You can ask for them to send it back and you can get second opinion.

Was offered £40 less than another postal service Gold Valuer. At a local jewellery shop
I was offered more for one item than what these offered for the lot. I appreciate the one item would have been re-sold in a shop and these will just melt the gold down but still found these offered lower than most. Just found the whole experience pointless. The service was quick and efficient hence the 3 stars.
