Terrible experience
Terrible experience, have been left in absolute agony after trying a teeth whitening product that was pushed on me by the dentist there. They refused that it could have anything to do with their product and refused even a partial refund! And offered no help what so ever! Heartless money grabbers!
Castle Dental Pearland
I went to Castle Dental Pearland the receptionist were as cold as the office. Was there for 3 hours and they did nothing but X-ray and evaluations. First the receptionist showed me a paper with 0 balance for my needed procedures mind you my insurance covers 3,000 in dental work. She left and came back with another paper telling me I needed watched to pay almost 600 for the work. This place is a money grab. I will never go back.
Went to castle dental in Webster Texas
Went to castle dental in Webster Texas, since my insurance was not active, I paid with my debit card $59 promotional fee for exam and xrays.
I activated my dental insurance and castle dental billed the insurance again for exam and xrays, and the insurance paid again. I requested my $59. refund. and is been 5 months and still have not receive my $59 dollars refund. #2 Castle Dental Manager in Webster TX, overcharged me almost $1000 for my treatment, after leaving messages for a month, called other Castle Dental offices explaining the overcharges. They corrected some of the fees. Which I still think they were maliciously altered. Now they are Harassing me for a portion of the treatment my insurance refused to pay since my insurance considered that four quadrants of deep cleaning can't be performed in one session. What my insurance doesn't know is that it took the hygienist less than an hour to performed the deep cleaning procedure and they wanted me to come back for a follow up to put something in my gums, but they said I had to pay for it. After realizing what they have there is a total business, I canceled all my future appointments. If someone knows of a open law suit against Castle Dental in Webster Texas, on Bay Area Blvd. please let me know so I can join them.
Negligent and lack of care.
A dentist at who treated my daughter at Round Rock and later Pflugerville provided terrible service. In the initial visit, the dentist examined my daughter and told us her teeth were fine. We were not given a referral to a pediatric dentist nor was it suggested or discussed.
Two months later, we had to return because my daughter had an abscess. The dentist then recommended she see a pediatric dentist and provided the referral paperwork. The pediatric dentist we saw confirmed my daughter had several cavities, other dental issues, which they believe should have been ruled out on the first visit with a proper examination and X-rays (x-rays not performed or suggested) as there were no X-rays available to compare from the visit 2 months prior.
After my daughter's Pediatric Dental appointment, I questioned Castle Dental about her examination 2 months prior and why no x-rays were performed. They sent me my daughter's patient (not right away!) notes. I noticed the notes from the prior visit were not uniform and potentially altered. The dentist's signature was followed by three additional lines that looks like they were added after the fact. Every prior note by staff, dentist, hygienist, exhibited initials or signature on the last line for each visit. The 3 additional lines stated that a pediatric dentist referral was recommended, but no such referral was given to us at the time of that visit.
The notes written before the additional 3 lines stated no X-rays were taken and no abnormalities were found. I believe Castle Dental edited the notes to cover up their mistake and did not properly perform the standard of care for my daughter. If those additional 3 lines of notes were authentic then why did, they not give us the paperwork to see a pediatric dentist until after discovering the abscess??? I called Castle Dental several times and asked for the office manager or owner to call me. I was never contacted back. I wanted to avoid writing this review and have them step-up and do the right thing. I have more documentation of what happened but want to see how Castle reacts first. I have finally had enough of them ignoring me!
No accountability. Too bad, so sad. Pay me.
Service was similar to other providers. One issue is last minute appointment cancellation. On one occasion the office manager claims I was left a message. Yes, but called to verify the garbled message and was assured the appointment was still scheduled and to come early given a penalty for delays. Second issue is that they lost my complete dental records which caused insurance to deny the claim given missing perio charting and scale plaining. Claim their electronic system was in transition. They still wanted a payment even with the documentation issue.
Castle Dental in Austin Canyon Ridge is…
Castle Dental in Austin Canyon Ridge is very awful. Very poor service. They advertise free orthodontist consultation. But I've been back and forth with them about that. It seems like they want me too get all this work done which I can't afford and then they will reward me with the appointment. I think it's cuz they want me to actually go through with it but the reason for the consultation is for me to be informed so I can know more and make informed decisions. They won't give me a free orthodontist consultation
Bought a mouthguard
Bought a mouthguard, it lasted 2 months before it had holes in it and was coming apart. I was told it had a 1 year warranty. Went in to get it replaced and was told it was normal wear and tear.
Bait and switch mid procedure
My daughter and I went in to be evaluated, I knew that we both needed a decent amount of dental work done. I got an estimate for both of us and it was around $4000 after insurance adjustments and insurance payments, but that was pretty reasonable given she needed her wisdom teeth removed also, so scheduled several visits out for both of us. Halfway through my daughter’s first treatment visit to have four routine fillings done, I was pulled out of the room and informed that when the original estimate was submit they entered in my group number for the plan wrong so now the price for all of our dental work was going to be adjusted with the right plan information. The new work up for the price of the dental work needed including the work that was already well underway in my daughter’s mouth had increased to $10,000 out-of-pocket!!! the insurance adjustment right offs for each items listed had disappeared and somehow the four routine fillings that were past the point of no-return were now somehow utilizing all of her dental insurance benefits for the entire year instead of only utilizing a few hundred dollars of the total years benefit like originally quoted so the rest of her dental work including wisdom teeth were not full price and all out of pocket…. when I contacted my insurance company and supplied them with both treatment plans provided by the dental office I was informed by my insurance company that they had never even submit a proposed plan of treatment to my insurance company to get an actual estimate for the work and that the initially priced treatment plan given looked to have been run with a completely different insurance company that I don’t have dental insurance through in the first place. This is extremely disappointing and seems highly unethical.
Terrible customer service
I went in for a cleaning and needed a tooth pulled
at the Franklin, TN office. The service was fine but there was a billing mix-up and I was charged $75 too much. I called at least 8 times over the next 4 months to get a refund. Each time I was told this has to be done by a supervisor or by "our corporate office" or was given another number to call. I never got a call back nor the refund so I finally disputed the charge through my credit card. Terrible customer service.
Dentist will perform procedures deemed…
Dentist will perform procedures deemed unnecessary by your insurance company. Insurance will deny the claim due to procedure not being needed. Then you will be forced to pay even more for a procedure you did not need.
Castle Dental - Worst experience - Stay away
Castle Dental has provided me with the poorest quality care and an unprofessional level of service. I initially went in for a bridge crown due to a missing tooth, and what should have been a straightforward process turned into a nightmare. They removed my old crown and, over three visits, struggled to properly numb my tooth, forcing me to endure multiple painful injections each time.
After weeks of suffering, I was finally referred to an endodontist in February, who successfully performed the root canal. I was assured that I only needed to pay $250, which I did. They then scheduled follow-up appointments for bridge measurements and final placement. However, just when I thought I was nearing the end of this ordeal, I received an unexpected call demanding an additional $650 for the root canal—completely blindsiding me.
This experience has been nothing short of a disaster. Castle Dental seems more focused on keeping patients in pain and draining their wallets than providing quality care.
Went there for a simple cleaning
Went there for a simple cleaning, me and my daughter and they said they could not do a cleaning and tried to tell me I needed all this work done. I then went back to my old dentist and he said I did not need any of what they said. All they want to do is lie and make as much money off you as possible!!! DO NOT GO THERE!!!

CASTLE DENTAL in Webster an t the Gulf…
CASTLE DENTAL in Webster and the Gulf Freeway is a sham. Tried to provide a quote for 15k. Other dental offices provided the same for $4k. The dentist appeared for 5 minutes then disappeared and would not come back to answer any questions. Felt like I was in a car dealership with all of the bull double-talk on the pricing. I walked out and didn't even allow them to clean my teeth. A complete sham.
Dreadful place
Dreadful place. Misdiagnosed. Overcharged almost $400. Many months later, still no refund. Calling several places for an answer on refund. Not getting anywhere. Avoid Castle.

The worst place ever , the Receptionist give you an estimate $645 in two days before your treatment. They calling to change the price to $1,035 because of their mistake, in less than 24 hours before the treatment they call me to cancel my appointment because they forgot to tell me that I need to contact my insurance company to change location. This place is controlled by the Castle dental sheriff Eva and she doing whatever she what so sad
