Data breach - please do not use.

Fine when things are going well but when the company loses your sensitive data not so good. A generic email saying sorry and we will get back to you, numerous missed deadlines to do so, and now the ICO are involved. The non existent customer service is just one generic, automated fob-off after another. I would strongly urge anyone to look elsewhere.

Where do I start

Where do I start. Bear in mind that this is a private health care provider who have just had a massive data breach of confidential information and have threatened to remove anyone who does not agree to their new terms and conditions. I’ve been waiting for my appointment since half past eight this morning. I just got a call (11:07) saying that the new system was playing up and I’d get another call, I doubt I will. The app won’t work, they have broken all their promises and now I’ll be taking them to court to receive compensation for my time. I’m in the process of signing up to another provider who can’t be any worse and I’d avoid them at all cost if I was you.

We attempted to launch our new clinical system and app on the 26th of August, unfortunately we experienced so many technical issues that you have described that we made the decision to revert back to our old system.

We are still in the process of undoing the issues caused by this.

Regarding the recent, isolated data breach we would like to assure you that this was an isolated incident and we are reviewing all of our processes with the support of an external agency and our Data Protection Officer to ensure this remains an isolated incident.

Agreement to our Terms and Conditions is a requirement if you wish to remain with our service as we are unable to provide the medical care you require without this. However, this is a choice and you're not obliged to remain a patient with us if you don't agree to the terms. We will of course be sorry to lose you.

Such a good service

Such a good service. Good doctors, friendly staff, feel blessed to finally legally be able to get my marijuana medication and not just CBD , THC Flowers . I’m so happy that at last it’s been fully recognised for its many healing properties.

Great clinic

Great clinic, clear communication and prompt delivery.

I think a lot of these comments are written by people experiencing withdrawal due to Cannabis Use Disorder and likely NPD developing due to chronic use and probably shouldn’t be prescribed in the first place.

Go outside and touch a different of grass folks and take a tolerance break.

Disgusting pathetic clinic

Disgusting pathetic clinic . Evrytime I get a strain all i get is 2months to use as its old stock.

Im with an amazing clinic now and see bu dates are all 6 months to a year. Cb1 the reason imo off being there was I cldnt have any strain for long I had to use it within 6 to 8 weeks . Very corrupted clinic. Does it surprise me theve broken ppls data leak ? Ofc not .
Karma's a funny thing . When I emailed the manageress called anabel sharma she ghosts you .

This clinic definitely needs to close down .
I was given a strain called supreme diesel and it only has 2 weeks left. I even semt them evidence in video and pics and got complete ghosting from there pharmacy department.

Ppl please stay away from this amateurs . They cost me alot off stress and with the data breach even im worried although I left them ages ago.

Never go with cb1. My mum always told me iff a clinic or anything is cheap comes with a negative.

Well she wasn't wrong .

Stay away from cb1 . I and many others had bad experiences on cb1 especially quality off strains and expiry date only lasting a month or 2 the most. X

Asked for my GP surgery details after application

Asked for my GP surgery details when I think I should have already provided it. They asked for this after I'd been discharged from them and wasn't accepted. Apparently their reasoning when I phoned them was to let my GP surgery know the outcome of my application which I think is load of rubbish if it isn't rubbish then they have way to much time on their hands.

Dont Waste Your Money

I used this company for my wife's sciatica pain. I paid £50 for a consultaion with one of their so called pain counsultants. He recommended different products for pain relief and guaranteed that the vape will provide instant relief. I spent in excess of £200 on CBD oil and the vape cartridge with absolutely no pain relief. This is a breach of patient's trust as they rely on the consultant's advice and (guarantee in this case) in order to make an informed choice whether to use the product. Dont waste your hard earned cash and use the traditional medicine from your GP.

I have moved from another clinic and I’m loving it. The app gives me so much more control and it’s so easy to use. Few teething issues initially but they were quickly resolved. Pleased with product and consultation. Very straightforward and good value.

Impossible to get a consultation with the same doctor.

Why is it so difficult to book a telephone consultation with my REGULAR consultant?

I transferred from Curaleaf to CB1 Medical a few months ago, and the booking process to get a telephone consultation with the same consultant doctor is impossible! The consultant doctor knows this is a problem, too, because each time we speak he reminds me that if CB1 Medical try to book me in with another consultant doctor, to decline and specify that appointments should only be with him.

I had my monthly telephone consultation with my regular consultant doctor on Thursday, just two days ago. When I emailed CB1 Medical this morning, asking very clearly for another telephone consultation with the same doctor at the end of August, I received a response email saying "booking confirmation- appointment with Dr Alex...". Are CB1 Medical trying to wind me up??!

They keep telling me the same bullshit every month that there are no appointments available with my regular consultant doctor. It isn't good enough and my regular doctor agrees. I'm paying for this and it isn't cheap, so why do CB1 Medical think this treatment is acceptable?

The first time I couldn't get a follow up appointment with my regular consultant doctor, I accepted the appointment with another doctor that CB1 Medical booked me. This was a mistake. This doctor had very little understanding of my medical conditions and little knowledge of how they need to be treated. I wasted money on products that did not do what I need them to do. I'm not willing to repeat that experience.

Update-
I have been in conversation with various people at CB1 Medical (it seems that having a conversation with just one employee is too much to ask) and they have told me that I do not need to have repeat consultations with the same doctor (Dr Tang), and that only cases that require extra help will be expedited to Dr Tang. This goes against the DIRECT instructions from Dr Tang, from every telephone consultation I've had with him.

I couldn't make this up. Choose literally any other clinic if you want to avoid daft annoyances like this.

Edit 2: It's currently 5 days since CB1 Medical replied to my review. No-one has contacted me with a valid solution, yet.

Pathetic clinic had nothing but lies…

Pathetic clinic had nothing but lies and arragnce thrown at me the whole time dealing with these nitwits didn't listen to anything that came from my mouth in the video consultation and was the most vague waste of time was offered 2 options I stated more than 3 times does not work nor I want to try again to be given only them options to then not have any answer to my questions apart from issue my refund and send me on my way.

WOULD NOT RECOMMEND BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE AND UNPROFESSIONAL DOCTORS AND SERCIVES.

New to the medical cannabis scene

New to the medical cannabis scene, but long time self prescribed, I have found my experience to be nothing short of excellent. The staff are so friendly and helpful, the process is easy, the app is easy to use and the products have been excellent.

Compared to other clinics it is excellent value, it is £50 for the year including everything except medication and postage which is excellent value in my opinion.

Can't find a single fault

Honestly, this is the best experience with healthcare I've ever had. I've now been with them for a month, and my live has turned round. The NICE guidelines of the NHS has made getting help with chronic pain impossible, I felt trapped. However, having a prescription with CB1 has really made a difference. I have more control over my prescription, I can try different ones (after the initial prescription) to see whats better for me. If something isn't pre-approved, all I need to do is email them and the reply is usually pretty quick.
They're relaxed when talking on the phone, but knowledgeable. As someone with AuDHD it makes it easier to talk on the phone to them.

Its nice to have some freedom and some control over my own healthcare

The most affordable service in the UK

What a wonderful experience it was to finally end 24 years of chronic pain and misery.
I was very happy with how friendly and understanding Dr Tordoff was.
I was relieved with how easy and stress free the eligibility process and consultations were.
The consistency and potency of the medication means I need to use far less, giving me excellent value for money, it really does go allot further in a Dynavap device.
The Aurora 918 carts are incredibly discrete and surprisingly effective in low doses allowing me to medicate and function with day to day life unlike heavy opioids !!
The repeat prescription service is very good and my medication has always arrived within 3 working days of ordering which for a special licenced medication is incredible.
I have never had an issue with ordering or communication with the clinic and the products are reasonably priced.
I can't recommend CB1 Medical enough, they have changed my life and made me cry but in a good way !!

Something very dodgy going on

I have been with this clinic a year. I email to ask a question about a specific product and was advised it was out of stock, that I required my annual chargeable consultation and hopefully the product would be back in stock when I had completed that procedure. I immediately paid for that consultation and a date was added three weeks in the future.

I note the product I requested information about is not available and has never been so I was lied to at that juncture.

The day of my appointment came and the doctor did not call me. I called to find out if there was any information and they could tell me nothing! They couldn’t tell me if the doctor had turned up for work they couldn’t tell me if I was going to get an appointment. They didn’t offer me a new appointment and they refuse to tell me anything about what was happening.

This was an extremely uncomfortable situation as it feels like the company is going out of business or something extremely questionable as their actions are highly suspicious.

I have requested my money back. I have not received my money back..

When we finally spoke, it became clear that the contact number we had for you was outdated — something we weren’t aware of until you confirmed your new details. Despite this being outside of our control, we still did our best to help.

You were also rude and abusive to our patient services team during your call, but even so, we processed a full refund of your £50 consultation fee. As we explained, refunds take a few days to clear with your bank.

We would still be happy to arrange a new appointment for you, but you ended the call before we could help further. If you would still like to continue with your treatment, please reach out and we’ll get this sorted.

We welcome all feedback — positive and negative — but honesty is important to help us improve for everyone.

Hopeless Amateurs

I spoke to someone on the phone first to confirm my eligiblity, did EVERYTHING the app asked, waited weeks and weeks, sent an email, waited days again. After chasing them AGAIN I get an email saying they're waiting for my summary care record, and I have to go to my GP reception to do it. I phoned to ask whether i couldn't use the NHS app/login that i use at Curaleaf. I explained that i was autistic, anxious, stressed. I used firm but unshouting voice with no swearing. The receptionist started giving excuses about how the member of staff has left, or they don't treat autism, or I haven't received sufficient alternative forms of treatment. At my suggestion I uncovered that i could use the NHS app and 'take screenshots' of everything they (hadn't asked for). I wasn't nice enough to bother with apparently so she hung up on me. A very disappointing experience, frustrating and upsetting in the extreme. Feeling so voiceless and unheard in a medical setting. Inconsistent policies, unprofessional, not a clinic, basically.

I moved to CB1 three months ago after negative experiences with another clinic. I'm over the moon with my decision. It's such a simple, efficient service and the choice of medication is exceptional. The doctors have been attentive, the medication works incredibly well, the repeat prescription process is quick and simple, with speedy dispatch and delivery.
