My go to for jewellery

Love Chapelle. Have had some beautiful pieces from them both online and in Dalton Park. Staff are absolutely lovely. On the one occasion I had a broken earring they replaced it without question. My latest piece is a beautiful little pinky ring I ordered online. White and yellow gold - I can’t stop looking at it. Ignore the negative reviews, this is the place for affordable lovely jewellery

Most disgusting and racist lady working…

Most disgusting and racist lady working at the East Midlands outlet. She wanted to know where we were from, and upon finding out that we were from South Asia, her attitude got worse and worse. Absolutely disappointed. Shouldn't a brand claiming to sell luxury goods be more discerning in hiring their employees?

I wouldn't bother

I found the staff very rude and arrogant still haven't resolved my issue yet got to go back. But when it is finally sorted I will never be returning Today 9th feb finally got my issue resolved and to be honest the staff were very nice,helpful and friendly completely different to my first visit

Excellent service from (+Magdalena K…

Excellent service from (+Magdalena K (Wembley LOD) helped me in May to buy a wedding ring and has done fantastic today in helping me get some lovely earing. Knew exactly what I was looking for based on previous information. I will highly recommend.

Bought a diamond ring £450 from the…

Bought a diamond ring £450 from the Cannock outlet store in October 2023.

Was told the ring had a 2 year guarantee.
A diamond came out of the ring and we returned it to the store.

Shop assistant checked the ring advised again it had a 2 year guarantee and sent it off to be repaired.

Had a call from them today to say the ring had been ‘knocked’ therefore not covered under the guarantee.

The ring is worn most days so I accept it is subject to general wear. However the ring has not been ‘knocked’ or suffered any other kind of damage other that general wear as you would expect from a piece of jewellery that is worn.

Just done research and seen this shop is owned by Hinds. Had exactly the same issue with them. Had a ring and after only a few days lost a diamond. Was told the ring had been ‘ Knocked’ it had not!
Did end up getting a refund for this but wasn’t easy. Swore I would never buy from them again!

Wish I had realised the link or would not have bought from this shop.

They have suggested I purchase a new ring with 25% off!!

I do not recommend this retailer
Guarantee not worth the paper it is written on.

My husband purchased a pair of studs…

My husband purchased a pair of studs (21/09/24)for me from Cannock, designer outlet store as a birthday gift. I already had identical pair (worn while trying to exchange). These studs were not touched, taken out of the box by myself as I already own the same pair. When I tried to return them the staff took them out of the box, holding them up, turning them, holding them up to the light to check them over. They said that they don’t exchange earrings but at a charge of £7.99 they would this time. I was paying for them handling the earrings. I left the store taking the earrings with me. My husband and daughter were told that if they weren’t suitable while purchasing them by a lady they could be exchanged. Whilst in store it was pointed out to me that the receipt does state their policy of returning earrings. If only they gave you the receipt before your purchase to read through. I have emailed the store and have not received any response. Very disappointed and a waste of money.

Shopping Experience at Chapelle Swindon Outlet

My partner and I went ring shopping for my engagement ring, and Kelly was incredibly helpful and professional! She also informed us about the hamper McArthurGlen was offering, and we ended up getting a free one! She truly made our day special!

We visited the Swindon store and Jason and Kelly service was excellent. We were looked after really well and Kelly in particular went above and beyond . They were so helpful and friendly and it was a pleasure to buy jewellery in the outlet store. Thank you

Capelle Mc Arthur glen bridgend

Went into the store to purchase a pair of stud earrings so I asked the assistant if i could look at them so I choose the ones I wanted I then asked if I could use the mc Arthur glen card she answered no very rudely not no sorry you can’t use it on this purchase or any other selection she then said to me no returns on earrings I felt like telling her not to bother with the sale I wish I had of now and took my money somewhere else .I have purchased quite a few things from there over the years and this has put me off no customer service skills whatsoever

Chapelle Replaced Diamond with a cracked discoloured CZ!

My husband purchased a diamond and pearl 9ct white gold ring online for me for our 30th wedding anniversary in November 2022 however, I did not actually start wearing the ring until June 2023 (our anniversary). In January 2024 I was very upset when I noticed a diamond had fallen out whilst I was at work in the office. I checked the Chapelle website and noticed that it stated all their diamond jewellery was covered by a two year warranty, so I emailed customer services. I received a reply saying that my ring was not covered under this warranty as they claimed it was not diamond jewellery despite the ring containing 18 points of diamonds. They said they were happy for me to take it to the local Chapelle/F Hinds for inspection; so I took it to Walsall F Hinds and was informed that it would take up to four weeks for my ring to be inspected and returned to store. Nearly four weeks later, I received a phone call to say the ring had been repaired foc and I went into the store to collect it. I was still worried in case more diamonds fell out so I took it to a local jeweller I trusted to check the stones/claws. I was very shocked and disappointed to be told that the diamond that had fallen out had not only been replaced by a cz but it was the wrong colour and had a crack in it! So after all this time I am now having to pay for the ring to be repaired again with a diamond of the correct colour. I would have preferred F Hinds to have told me they could not fix the ring under warranty rather than doing a botched repair job! I would never use again or recommend Chapelle/F Hinds to anyone. If only the stone had fallen out within the first year, I would have had no hesitation in reporting them to trading standards for replacing a 3pt diamond with a broken cz without telling me!! The only good thing I can say about Chapelle is that their customer services are efficient with their email replies.

Rude scamers.

Bought a watch for my father from this ,he is 86 has alsiemers and wanted a Wath he could see in dark.however even though advertised as such a watch it wasn't.!he had put it on twice,both times was for minutes just to test elimination of face,thr was no elumination, so was put back and returned,as soon as I walked in shop as I had said my dad had tried it on horrible service, straight away she said no returns its been wor.i was well in my rights as had returned within 1 month.she was rude abrasive and because of this I've recored and uploaded it to utube as my dad has now passed away.this shop is a scam and the staff shoul be supplied balaclavas as part of thr uniform.the staff are not only rude hostile they ate trained scammers don't buy from this shop,they all operate under same umbrella o of bad returns policy.

Absolute SCAM this shop

Absolute SCAM this shop! They sell you watches under warranty which they then don't even send off to the manufacturer when the watch is faulty! They lie through the entire process! They told us in June the watch would be sent back to the manufacturer following the entire face of the watch coming loose. They then told us yesterday 'the manager' of the store in Ashford made a call to do nothing with the watch as he deemed it a faulty battery replacement! It was a brand new watch which never had a battery replaced and if they sent it away like they said they did in June they would have seen it was the original battery in there. So they kept the watch for 5 months spinning us lies! DO NOT TRUST THIS STORE!

Went in to Swindon branch to get a copy…

Went in to Swindon branch to get a copy of the receipt of purchase which I made as I lost the original one. I was informed on the phone (guy) who confirmed with my name and address that he is able to give me a copy of the receipt of I pop in to the store.
I went in there today 27-05-2023, a lady who refused to give me her name and said she is the store manager refused to give me the receipt copy and said they don’t give receipt copy when I asked for it and she even said “don’t be funny” in a rude way. That’s not a store manager would serve a customer and I don’t even know if she is the store manager as she had ko name badge visible for customers to see.
Rude and unprofessional staff!

Chapelle is one of the worst companies…

Chapelle is one of the worst companies you could possible buy an engagement ring from.

My partner brought an engagement ring from Chapelle (The Cannock branch) last year to propose to me in November.

The first ring had to get sent back as it had a scratch on it. The ring was replaced and we had to get it resized after our holiday to New York.

We received a phone-call to say the ring was ready to collect and upon collection we were told they couldn’t actually find the correct ring, my partner returned to the car without the ring to receive another phone call to say they’d found the ring. However, in our horror we were then told the ring was of poor quality and they wouldn’t release it to us, despite the fact we were left voice mails to say it was checked in the office and would be checked back in branch.

There is some serious issues with this company and this isn’t even the worst part.

I had my ring for less than a month and within that time the diamond had fallen out one day whilst wearing it.

The diamond had completely gone, we were heart broken.

We went back to chapelle and it got sent off for inspection. After a week or so we had a phone call to say that it was assessed as “customer damage” and we would have to pay an additional £300 for repairs.

We quite clearly wasn’t going to put anymore money into this company. We proved on photos how faulty the ring looked, (something you don’t look for when buying a ring for such a special occasion).

We were told there was nothing they could do for us. I spoke to the store manager and asked him how this could happen, he told me that this could happen buy getting it caught on a piece of clothing. A hardwearing platinum ring could break on an item of clothing? I don’t think so.

After a few weeks we were ready to take this company to court. We produced an email containing our actions and eventually after a lot of back and forth got our refund.

Quite bluntly stated
“On this occasion we will issue a refund to bring this matter to a conclusion”

Avoid at all cost, this company completely ruined our engagement.

Eventually, we went to the Jewellery Quarter and shopped with SP GREEN & CO. The staff were professional, polite helpful and they helped us choose the most perfect ring and it was ready with in 2hours. No faffing around for weeks on end to revive faulty goods!

Manager called security to remove us

After purchasing 2 wedding rings from Swindon Outlet and being assured by the assistant manager that the company and store had a change your mind guarantee, we indeed changed our minds after reading horrifying reviews (hindsight)

Called the store less than 24 hours later to say we’ve changed our minds and would like a refund!

The manageress decided to put the phone down on us so we headed in store. Poor store assistant was left to deal with us with no idea what to do. He went in the office to see the manageress, who refused to come and deal with us for a simple refund.

Instead, to our surprise she called 4 security guards who attended. Only then did she make an appearance and started swearing at us. Security had to tell her to calm down.

No resolution we went outside the store, again the manager told us to p*** off! tried calling so called customer services and nobody ever picks up the phone. You’re on your own.

No option to perform a chargeback. Absolutely shocking behaviour to a customer. Had I known they were part of F. Hinds I would never have entered. Never again.

Manager needs sacking looking at other reviews, again hindsight, the whole company doesn’t care as she’s done ir on multiple occasions.

Don’t spend your hard earned money here, anything goes wrong you’re out of pocket.

Outstanding Customer Service.

I’ve used Chapelle Jewellery Junction 32 Castleford) on a few occasions now, and every time I’ve been treated with respect and nothing was too much trouble, but on my last visit James helped me with a repair on my Citizen Eco Watch (Red Arrows) and when I asked if he could source a new / original display box for my watch he was unsure if he could source one, but he has managed to get me a replacement box which my watch will now proudly sit in when I am not wearing it. So if you want that person/company to go above and beyond then I would highly recommend Chapelle Jewellery at Castleford. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
