We are having our windows etc replaced and I just wanted to take an opportunity to provide some feedback on the team, namely Jagga, Happy, Stan and Scott.

The team have been absolutely brilliant; they have all been very courteous to everyone and respectful to the home.

Their workmanship has also been to a very high standard and it has been a pleasure to have them working on the property.

I recently had my windows installed by Chigwell Window Centre, and I must say they did an excellent job. The team was very professional, neat, and arrived right on time, which I really appreciated. The quality of their work on the windows is fantastic, and everything was completed to a high standard.

The only small downside was that my curtains were not put back up afterwards, and the screws for the pole seem to be missing, which was a bit inconvenient. Aside from that, I am very happy with the service and would still highly recommend them for anyone looking for window installation

Update: proactive fixes put in place by the company and visits arranged at our convenience.

Absolutely Outstanding Service – My New Front Door Looks Incredible!

I contacted Chigwell Window Centre in May 2025 requesting a quote for bi-fold doors with integrated blinds. The written quotation I received clearly included the word “BLINDS” in the glazing description. I followed up by email to confirm that blinds were included and was never told otherwise.
Based on that information, I travelled to their showroom in Brentwood to view the product and place an order. Only at the end of the visit was I informed that the blinds were not actually included, and the true price was significantly higher than what I had been quoted. The supply-only price increased from £2,970 to around £4,500 — and nearly £7,000 with fitting.

This could easily have been clarified in advance. I gave the company multiple opportunities to review the quote, and it was personally forwarded to me by their Sales Manager. Instead, I wasted my time travelling based on a misleading document and unclear communication.

When I raised this as a complaint, I was met with defensive responses and ultimately told the matter was closed. At no point did they accept any accountability or offer a goodwill gesture. As a consumer, I found the experience disappointing, frustrating, and entirely avoidable.

If you're considering using Chigwell, I would strongly recommend getting absolute written clarity on what's included before investing your time.

Thank you for your reply. While I appreciate the public acknowledgement here, it differs quite significantly from the private responses I received via email, where the issue was dismissed and I was told the matter was closed.

Just to clarify: I made it very clear from the outset that I required bi-fold doors with integral blinds. The quotation I was sent included “BLINDS” in the glazing description, and I asked multiple times for confirmation. At no point was I told the quote was incomplete. It was only after I had travelled to the showroom that I was informed the price was significantly higher and the blinds weren’t included - something that should have been clarified well in advance.

I’m sharing my experience here so others know to request full written clarity before committing time or travel. I had hoped for more accountability, particularly after I raised this directly and gave the company every opportunity to resolve it constructively.

Having decided to replace our conservatory windows & add a tinted glass roof as well we decided on using Chigwell Windows as the company to do the work.
We chose them for several reasons:

-No pushy sales technique which we had experienced with other companies.
-Reasonably priced
-After sale service is superb, ringing to check on how the work had gone and if there were any problems (we had a couple of minor ones), they were dealt with quickly and professionally.

Chigwell had replaced all our windows and doors (minus the conservatory) last year and once again the service & product were superb. Workman put in a very good shift each day, as they did this time, so we had no hesitation on using them again.

All in all, a reliable & professional company who know the meaning of customer service.

What kind of company is this? Definitely doesn’t go by its moto right first time. Empty promises and excuses from manager Jake, previous contractors were bad but this is appalling. Watch out!!

Very tidy and efficient

Chigwell Windows were polite, professional and efficient. Our sketch was sent over quickly, the install was painless and communications throughout went above and beyond formalities. Renovating can be full of unexpected bumps and obstacles, our windows at least, was one passage of plain sailing and the resulting window - anthracite aluminum - is totally handsome. Transforms our bathroom.

Installation of my property was perfect. Fitters had installed everything with great attention to detail - the quality of the work is fantastic. Would highly recommend to anybody looking to carry out the following works on there property
