Excellent Service
Overall, very disappointing
I went to one of the London stores to find a hat. Firstly I was greeted by a sign which read "back in ten minutes". When the store re-opened (it was a Saturday afternoon before Christmas), I tried on a few hats and found one I liked. They didn't have the colour I wanted in my size (sadly the only colour not in stock in that size). So they phoned the other store but couldn't get through, but they did say they were expecting a delivery on Monday or Tuesday. The next day I went to the other store. I asked the chap for my size and colour, and after much searching in the back of the store he told me he didn't have it in stock. He did however take down my name and number and said that he would call head office the next day (Monday) and find out whether the particular hat I wanted was going to be on the delivery on Tuesday, and he would let me know. He also said that if it wasn't on the delivery he was speak to the manager at Bluewater who was coming over to the store on Tuesday and ask if they had any and whether he could bring one with him. I thought this was wonderful service..... but he never called me back. So Tuesday I phoned head office to see if they could tell me whether this particular hat was in any delivery going to any stores. They said they couldn't tell me, and wouldn't be able to as the hat is made to order..... which is odd considering it is on the shelves of the two stores I visited. After that, still on the Tuesday, I decided to go back into the same store I visited on the Sunday and spoke to someone else who told me they hadn't received their delivery and didn't know when they would receive it, but they suggested I call back the next day, which I couldn't do as I was going away for Christmas. So I left it until the New Year and ordered the hat on line on 6 January. It wasn't clear when it would be delivered, and was taking longer than I expected (appreciating the time to make the hat and deliver it), so I sent an enquiry online to ask where the order was on 17 January, but didn't hear anything back. The order eventually came (still with no reply to my query), on 23 January.
Overall, really frustrating and disappointing service. I really like the Christy's brand but won't be rushing to make another purchase..... and if I did, I would only take something off the shelf rather than speaking to anyone in store, at head office, or by submitting queries online; because it seems you either receive incorrect information, or no one gets back to you at all.

Finest baseball cap ever
Finest baseball cap ever! Material is very soft, feels like cashmere. The cap is a very nice shape and well formed. I can't say enough about the design, It's absolutely beautiful. The bill is a great contrast to the bowl and the full lining finishes the luxurious look and feel, really making the cap very stylish and sophisticated. I live in California, USA and don't think I'll be seeing very many caps like this around.

It was simple to order a hat online in Nov 18 which was received but it was the wrong size. Trying to arrange the redelivery of the smaller size hat has been quite difficult and I am still waiting for a replacement hat or a refund. I think a better method to obtain a hat is to go to the shop to try it on.

There were some difficulties with my order. No fault of Christy’s, due rather to the costs and complications of international shipping. Christy’s however went out of their way to see that things were rectified and that I was fully satisfied in the end. Way, way out of their way. A first rate cap from a first-plus rate milliner and customer service team. Buy from them with confidence.
