The worst company

The worst company. I've purchased a prepaid SIM on the $10 plan, and I've been charged random amounts, up $49.30. Scam 👿 Now they've been bought by Amaysim. So stay away from Amaysim.
If I could give no stars I would

Not 'Happiness Customer Service Agents' at all

Please do not ever engage with this company. they are hopeless. They call themselves 'Happiness Customer Service' agents, but they have given no Happiness at all. The roaming feature did not work for 10days (their fault), and they offered me an insulting $15 as compensation - despite the fact that the inconvenience was considerable.

AVOID CIRCLES LIFE AT ALL COSTS. TERRIBLE AND IMMATURE CUSTOMER SERVICE AGENTS

AVOID CIRCLES LIFE AT ALL COSTS. I'm currently overseas and wanted to clarify whether inserting my sim card would incur charges when receiving an SMS OTP. The "Happiness Expert" Glenn, not only did not answer my simple question, he activated international roaming on my sim card without my consent which incurs a $30 charge. When I asked him to deactivate the roaming as I didn't ask for it, he told me to "use your brain" and cut off the chat. Unbelievable customer service!

Impossible to cancel

I have been trying to cancel my pay-as-you-go plan since leaving Australia. This appears to be impossible due to zero customer service and impossible-to-satisfy document requirements.

I see others have had the same issue, reporting circles.life to the ACCC only takes a few minutes and is worth it to fix this predatory behaviour. Just google ACCC and the link is easy to find.

Other telcos let you cancel online. Go with one of them. Avoid at all costs unless you want to block your credit card and ask for a new one from your bank (which appears to be the only way to stop circles.life from stealing your money).

Avoid. Worst customer service & tech team I've come across.

Avoid - Cheap service therefore cheap and terrible customer service & tech supportThe worst customer service & technical support team I've ever come across. It took 3 weeks for them to complete a transfer of ownership request. Everyday I would ask them for an update on Live Chat and receive completely different messages every time.
One day someone would say 'It's done you'll receive an email confirmation by EOB'. Next day I'll message saying I didn't receive an email, 'I've checked with our backend team and it's not done'. Next day, 'Can you provide a transfer of ownership form signed'. Next day, 'It should be completed by EOB'. Next day, 'What request did you send, I can't see any record of it'. Next day, 'It's done, email confirmation soon'. Next day, 'We're still waiting on backend team'. Next day, 'Your ID check is getting rejected, can you contact the government'. Next day, I've contacted the gov who confirmed no issues my my ID, please try again. 'Ok it's all gone through this time, email by EOB'. Next day, 'Your ID check was rejected'. Next day, ' Backend team still working on it'. Next day, 'All done'. Next day, 'ID check issues'. Next day, 'I've spoken with backend team who confirmed EOB complete'. Next day, 'Still waiting on backend team'. Next day, 'Still waiting, but by EOB I'll send email. No email. Next day, 'Yes nearly there, I'll follow up by EOB with an email update'. No email. Next day, 'It was done 5 days ago, please check'. Yes I can see my name is now appearing on app welcome page. Next day, requesting to port number to Telstra, 'Hello previous owner'. What! 'You need to wait until transfer is complete'. You serious mate! Next day, 'We received request from Telstra but ID not matching up'. Ok change you check my DOB has been updated in the system. Next day, 'Still checking'. Next day, can you confirm account number, 'its xyz' immediately disconnects the chat. Next day, sorry Telstra still cannot confirm details, 'try lower case' immediately disconnects.

I've got a degree in backend development and cyber security - I told them it does not take 3 weeks to update a database, someone with basic skills can do it with their eyes shut & push the update through a few systems. I did kindly offer to hack into your systems and do it for them in 2mins. No response.

Worst experience I've had with a customer service team. It became laughable at the end, knowing how stupid and inconsistent the responses will be. No point getting angry. Pay a bit extra to receive anything but this support.

Making it very hard for you to cancel

Been on the chat several times to cancel my plan and spent several hours providing various things they say they need in order to cancel the plan.

First they said I have to pay my bill (not sure why they just didn't charge my card as I had to give my card details when I signed up) and that it can only be paid via the app, as that is the ONLY option. To make matters worse, to access the app you need an OTP code that is sent via text message. However, I'm no longer in Australia and usage abroad is turned off by default by Circles Life. To activate it you need to do it via the app, which again, you need to have an OTP code to access as per above, so there is no way of accessing the app unless you do it while you are still in Australia. Absolutely ridiculous. They won't provide any other solutions for payment, but then one day my card was magically charged and the bill finally paid without a word from Circles Life.

Secondly other than proving my identity to cancel they were also asking me for additional proof in the form of Australian documents such as medicare card, utility bills etc. As I'm not Australian and I'm not living in Australia, I don't have any such documents (I'm here as a tourist), and I didn't need to provide them when signing up for the esim in the first place.

Despite this I finally managed to cancel via the live chat in the end after spending several hours going back and forth. Not sure if it's all due to their incompetence, or if they make it hard to cancel in order to make more money as the plan just keeps on rolling. I've previously used Vodafone during my trips to Australia, and will go back to using them in the future as the experience with Circle Life was awful!

This is a warning about Circles Life's complete failure as a telco.

For months, I paid for a mobile service where I couldn't even receive basic phone calls. Dead set - couldn't even answer incoming calls on their network.

I spent countless hours logging support tickets and trying to get this fixed. Every time, their support team would try to palm me off, pushing to close tickets without solving anything. Check my account history - it's all there in black and white.

I've since cancelled and moved my number to another provider. But these clowns are still sending me bills for a service they never properly delivered. Multiple attempts to cancel have been ignored. It's beyond a joke.

The sheer incompetence of their billing and customer service is staggering. They couldn't deliver the most basic mobile service, ignored all attempts to fix it, and now can't even process a simple cancellation.
Stay well clear of Circles Life. They're an absolute joke of a telco that doesn't deserve to operate in Australia."

Worst service EVER!!!!

Worst service EVER!!!!! AVOID AVOID AVOID. I trialed it for a month and requested termination of my eSIM prior to the month being over. However it took them 2 weeks to process it and charged me an additional one month. I tried contesting the additional month but it was very hard to reach customer service. And I kept point it out and showed screenshots of me contacting customer service many times but was told that they couldn’t refund me the additional month. It’s a scam!! AVOID!!

I had literally dirt-floor expectations…

I had literally dirt-floor expectations for this company, and they still somehow managed to be worse than that. Honestly they don't deserve to call themselves a legitimate company, they are more like a thinly veiled scam shop. Please avoid like the plague.
