Criminals stole $400 from me & gave me no service

The worst company! It is actually criminal how they operate.

I lost my phone overseas and had issues delivering a new sim to start. Then its been 6 months of trying to simply activate a sim card and I cant even count the amount of times I have been on their chat system and emailed back and forth. My sim card has never worked and they have pushed me around in circles for months as I try to downgrade my plan while I can't even use it or cancel the plan but they say the only way I can do that is if I get a text message, but my sim card doesn't work! There's a reason their name is Circles cause they just send their customers around in one without ever helping them.

They take weeks and weeks to reply, don't have a phone number. They say chat is the quickest way to get any issues resolved, yet every time you chat to them all they say is "our backend team will have to get back to you" and that reply can take WEEKS!! Giving them another month to charge me for a service I can't even use. They ask for my passport, drivers license, sim card photo and photo of me holding my passport and I sent it NO JOKE, SEVEN TIMES!! Because they kept having issues with them. Then in the same email chain where the images still sit they kept asking for the same things. Just delaying so they can charge me again. Appalling service.

I've had to dispute 6 months of charges with my bank because they told me my plan was paused for now but they've billed me every single month! when I haven't used their service for over 7 months. And that's still not guaranteed I will get these charges back. Hundreds of dollars wasted and easily avoided if any of them just did the right thing and did their job properly. I have never had such a poor and awful experience with any company ever. I have submitted a complaint to the Telecommunications Ombudsman and I hope they're shut down as a company.

Great

Great, very cheap for an optus mvno. No drama. But I left because they don't offer any MMS service, which I need.

One big scam

One big scam - they are ripping off customers by making their customer service a true nightmare.

Find below messages of agents leaving the chat:

1. Sorry, your chat has been disconnected due to network issues.

Don’t worry - for your convenience, we are connecting you to the next available agent now.

2. Oops, there was an error keeping you connected with the agent. I'm sorry for the inconvenience. You can continue taking to the Virtual Assistant or request for another Live Agent.

3. Agent session has been ended.

I will delete this review when my problem will be solved.

Fine until you need help. Stay away if you can.

If you need a straightforward postpaid plan, Circles.Life will do the job. However, if you need to contact them for assistance you won't get any. After changing my plan, I noticed something odd in my billing and attempted to reach out to the 'Customer Happiness Experts'. After they sent a one sentence reply via email, I tried to use Live Chat. Not only was it almost impossible to reach someone, two agents abandoned Live Chat. One would not answer questions (previous agents would say one thing and then the next would contradict). I don't expect a lot from a telco so the fact that this experience was so frustrating was enough to move to a new provider the same day.

I was having issues joining the new provider. Why? Because Circles.Life had my DOB wrong somewhere internally. A nightmare. Please stay away from this company.

No response for over a month until I issued a chargeback

I tried following the instructions on their site to cancel but they only lead to broken pages, there's nowhere in the app I can find to simply cancel, when I tap on plan details it opens a blank box and nothing ever loads, and I emailed them over a week ago to cancel and they never responded.

When the Optus outage occurred they said they'd give me extra data but never actually added it onto my account.

They've sent a bill for renewal though.

Update:
It's been 14 business days now and I have not received a response.

There website makes some outrageously bold claims and in my experience they're not true.

They keep sending me emails claiming I owe them money. Their site advertises

"No-lock in contracts

Change plans or leave whenever you want to".

I cancelled, I'm no longer a customer, I did not agree to keep paying for your service.

Update 2:

After over a month of no response to my initial email to cancel my plan (unless you count their auto response) and a while after making a complaint I have received a response! Not to my request or complaint but because I issued a charge back because yes they wanted me to keep paying for a plan I no longer wanted. They advertise "No Lock In Contracts" and that they will respond in one day. Clearly that's false advertising.

I'm going to the Ombudsman this company is as bad as Telstra and I see that as the lowest bar for service online.

Update 3:

After going to the Ombudsman a supervisor from Circle Life responded. They seemed to have no awareness I made a cancellation request well before my number was ported out. The way they spoke implied my cancellation was only requested when I ported my number to another provider and not before.

They didn't seem aware why I made a written request to cancel or that I had made a complaint. Until I brought it to their attention they didn't even offer an apology. My initial attempts at contacting Circle Life were brief, only a few sentences, and yet the supervisor didn't seem to have read them.

The supervisor provided a link to their guide on cancelling. If they had read my complaint they would know there is no point in providing that because in my original request to cancel I specify I wasn't able to follow their guide were to server side issues such as error 504 (bad gateway).

They spelt their own name wrong, you can see the correct spelling as it's next to their Zendesk information, and even after I provided them a PDF copy of my original request to cancel they still didn't seem to read it.

The email went "It is not that we'd ignore your request" and then proceeded to not explain at all why I never received a response to my cancellation request or complaint and instead went started talking about their cancellation process a completely different subject. It was extremely bad and bizarre service.

Do NOT give these criminals your money

Do NOT give these criminals your money. Not even the Ombudsman will recover stolen funds. I have an admission of guilt from the company and the Ombudsman told me they had no right to take money from my account. More than 2 years later and my $900 has not been returned to me.

WORST COMPANY EVER

WORST COMPANY EVER

They keep charging me every month and won't reply to my emails asking them to cancel my plan. I'm not able to log into the app as the security check won't deliver the text to my phone. It's a never-ending loop of getting nowhere. ALL I want is to never speak to this company ever again but they keep charging me. PLEASE avoid them at all costs.

WARNING - Change companies asap!

WARNING - Change companies asap!
I rarely find the need to write negative reviews of any company, however Circles Life Australia has given me the motivation. Firstly my wife's credit card details were leaked and then attempted fraudulent transactions made online, within 24 hours of her putting the data in their system. Suffice to say the card was blocked, cancelled and we now are awaiting a new one. I gave them (Circles Life Australia) the benefit of the doubt and contacted their security department over the security breach, mainly as a warning to other customers, but also for them to acknowledge and I received no reply at all. I guess this sums it up completely on how they view cyber security and how they view customers as I had only been with them for 24 hours. I will definitely be change companies immediately and escalating this matter.

Worst télécommunications service ever

Worst télécommunications service ever. They wan to make me pay a 216$ bill for extra service, except that I don’t have data in WA with Circles. Worst service client ever, no data information, the app is not working, they don’t answer to my questions. I wanted to take a more expensive subscription to get 150g but they told me it was too late, nothing has been done to help me through this situation.
Be careful do not take Circles

Terrible experience

Terrible experience! The billing system is convoluted. Charge you for 2 months in advance and If you try and cancel they will slug you with next month charge anyway. Used them as a second phone for work and I have to say it’s worse than post paid. Don’t waste your time. Kogan is far better and far far cheaper. If you want Vodafone try felix.

They will just make money out of ur pocket by telling u that you have spent too much internet and pay more on double the price or live without the internet. They do not have any customer care centre where u can call and contacting customer service via chat is frustrating who dont know how to resolve query and always says they have forwarded your query to circle and we will get back an email and that email never comes
