Caveat Emptor!
This a front for a Chinese online store, the products are nothing as what they portray and show online, they are cheap and low quality, especially for the amount of money they ask.
I learned that their returns process involves you sending everything back to China at your expense which ends up costing more than the low quality and cheap items they sell, so now I may need to get the my bank involved and never again.
Buyer beware!
Ready for the Halloween.
Ready for the Halloween.. Thanks again Clara San Diego for the nice night light. The delivery took a while but the product is amazing. I can use it even if its not a Halloween anymore. By the way, I'm Still waiting for another mug for my mom. Hope it will come this week. Thanks again.
Full blown scam
Full blown scam. No items. Emails that lead nowhere. Fake tracking. Avoid at all costs.
Complete garbage
Complete garbage. Should have looked at the reviews first. Bought a glass library book mug. Should have cancelled as soon as I saw it was shipping from China. Looks like crap in reality. Return to China at the buyers expense. Going in the garbage.
Total scam
As others stated, this is a full blown scam. AI use, no such small business exists. This is a Chinese company with inferior products. I ordered the glass book mug x 2. Sloppy paint job, not heavyweight, terrible workmanship similar to an art project made by a kindergartner.
They first offered refund of 10% then raised to 20 and 30% with each response sent by me. I made a dispute with Amex (Platinum has their own return policy) and was credited the full amount. Unfortunately, people won’t see this review until AFTER they’ve received their unsatisfactory products.
The place is a completely opaque scam…
The place is a completely opaque scam site. Some days it claims to be a family business that they are closing. But the worst part is they show a beautiful, artistic piece at what might be a palatable price if it was what was shown. But it turns out they are not a community of artists in San Diego, the stuff is shipped directly from China and takes a month. When you get it, it looks absolutely nothing like the glass piece pictured, but is a very crude plastic piece of crap that would be a major embarrassment to give as a gift. There is no location in San Diego, and not even in the United States. The charge comes from outside the U. S., and there is no option for contacting them by phone. Save your money and, perhaps, save yourself from future scams. There is nothing honest about this business.
Not what they said it was…
Ordered the mug that looks like stacked books. It is described as made of glass, microwave safe and able to hold 11oz. It took over 2 weeks to arrive—from China (ignore the San Diego in name). It is some sort of plastic, has a metal insert and holds 4 oz. To get a refund I have to return at my cost even though they actually didn’t deliver what I ordered or I can keep it and get a 30% refund. It’s a piece of junk. I don’t want it but don’t think I should have to pay the shipping cost when they lied about the product
Avoid.
Absolute scam of a website. The "boutique" is a warehouse in Hong Kong and the item I purchased not only didn't look like what was on the website, it was made of cheap plastic that actually smells toxic.
It was going to be a Christmas gift, but is now going straight in the bin, because to ask for a refund is more trouble than it's worth. Lesson learned.
ABSOLUTE SCAM!!
ABSOLUTE SCAM!!! DO NOT ORDER. The items look absolutely nothing like those in the website photos. I ordered a mug, supposedly hand made. I then went through a bunch of nonsense with shipping. A company I had never heard of with very limited updates. But shockingly, I received a mug. The mug I received was NOTHING like described or in the photo. NOTHING. It was not glass but rather plastic. It was much smaller than depicted. So small you could only put a few ounces of liquid in it. Complete garbage, complete SCAM. STAY AWAY.
Not from San Diego
Not from San Diego, and nothing like the pictures on the website. Very Cheap plastic imitations that take over a month to receive from China. No customer support when you text them. Avoid at all costs. Total scam
Big time scam!!
Well, I fell for this scam. I could write the same thing everyone else has. Long ship times, mug shows picture of glass mug but you get a cheap plastic model that doesn't even look like the picture. I fell for this one and it reminds me of ordering that super cool stuff from the back of a comic magazine only to find out the Detective Tracey decoder ring or the sea monkeys looked nothing like the pic. Ah, to be 8 years old again.
Not a brick and mortar store as social…
Not a brick and mortar store as social media posts portray. Many items not as pictured. They are merely an online merchant selling merch from China.
After all happy
My package took longer than expected at first because I entered the wrong address. Once I updated it, the delivery was fast, and I’m really happy with my mug.
Thanks!
Photo Looked NOTHING Like What I Received
This might be moot since they're closing, but I was pulled in by an IG ad and shown this beautiful, what looked like hand-crafted glass mug. What I got weeks later was a cheap plastic thing not barely deep enough for a tea candle. The return option was to ship it back to China (had no idea it would come from there but fine), with all this red tape AND you're paying for it. So they credited me $8 of $35 for something I'll end up donating.
WHAT A SCAM!!!!
WHAT A SCAM!!!!! The shit they sell comes directly from China (which is where they expect you to send the returns at YOUR cost!). The clothes don't fit, the jewelry is fake and the mugs n lamps are cheap plastic-not glass! DO NOT SPEND A DIME WITH THESE FRAUDS!!!!!!!!!!!!
CHEAPLY MADE-The book mug received is very cheaply…
The book mug received is very cheaply done compared to the picture shown on their website. It is NOT worth the price charged by any means. The mug took a month to arrive. Such a disappointing product. I would return it but of course I'd have to pay my own shipping back to Asia I suppose.
Addendum to my previous review
As an addendum to my previous review, I did receive the stained glass "hand made"mug that looks like a stack of books and it looks NOTHING like the photo on the site. Too bad trustpilot doesn't have a provision to upload photos because the difference between what was pictured and what I received was like night and day. This same Chinese manufacturer sells their crap on other sites, so beware of being scammed again. I learned my lesson and will check this site before I buy anything online from a retailer I've never heard of.
This is a misleading (at best) scam…
This is a misleading (at best) scam site. I ordered what looked like a handmade tea mug in stained glass. The actual product is cheaply made, definitely not by hand, and hideously ugly. The website makes it look like you are buying from a San Diego based merchant who has chosen to go out of business when in fact, you are buying from a Chinese vendor who will charge you more than you can get the product for at Walmart and drop-ships from China taking weeks to arrive. They will send a series of messages to tell you your product is in transit and that's where you first see that it is coming from China. Mine took 3 weeks from date of order
This website is a total scam
This website is a total scam. The items are nothing like pictured on the site (and admitted by them in an email) but you have to pay to send to China (not San Diego) to get a full refund. They offered me a 20% refund and I got them up to 30% but they still made a 90% profit on the plastic piece of junk I received.
I wish I would have seen the reviews…
I wish I would have seen the reviews before I purchased a coffee mug. As the below comments, it looks nothing like what is on their site. They would not refund my purchase price without me sending the item back to China which would have cost me 3 times as much as what I paid for the cup.
I will never again purchase from them.
