As others stated, this is a full blown scam. AI use, no such small business exists. This is a Chinese company with inferior products. I ordered the glass book mug x 2. Sloppy paint job, not heavyweig... See more

I purchased 2 of the hand made glass…
I purchased 2 of the hand made glass reading mugs from Clara San Diego. They arrived and they are hideous! They are of some sort of epoxy and look absolutely nothing like the photos, not mention they smell terrible. This absolutely a scam website. Be smarter than I was, and avoid this site at all cost !
SCAM WEBSITE
This is a SCAM website that I stupidly fell for as it appeared in my Facebook feed. I am usually very careful about clicking on suspect emails and links, but I fell for this hook, line and sinker. Their "Final Closing Sale until 11:59 PM" banner was the first clue that this site was a scam because day after day, the banner was still there as were the deep discounts. Then, I Googled the hand made Lesegluck mug that I ordered and saw it on Walmart's site for $14, which is way less than the "sale" price of $39.95 (discounted from $114.95 - and who would pay that much money for any mug?), so I knew something was amiss. Then, I kept getting shipping updates that only give the same vague update of "in transit". I watched a youtube video from a couple of people who did a deep dive into all the red flags on this site and that's when it was confirmed that I had been scammed. Just go to youtube and type in "Clara San Diego Scam" and you will see it.
I called my debit card bank and they suggested I cancel my debit card, then ask for a refund so these people can't make anymore charges on it. Since this company is located in China (which I didn't realize until after I watched the youtube video), all I could do is email them demanding a refund and I got an email back saying that my item is in transit and they apologize for the delay in receiving it. IF I ever get this mug, I can almost guarantee it won't look anything like the picture on the site. However, I doubt I will receive it. My bank said they will refund my money if I don't receive the product, which I doubt I will.
Don't believe their 'handmade' claims
Don't believe their 'handmade' claims. You will get a tracking number from a drop shipper in China.
