If I could rate this less, I would.
After waiting for an extended time for my shoe order, and the “tracking number” going nowhere, I was able to find a new email contact and she sent me a “new” tracking number.
Finally, the shoes arrived - nothing like the picture or the description of these “orthopedist designed shoes”.
Poor quality, and uncomfortable.
Of course, the kicker is the return policy requires my own postage directly to CHINA along with a list of requirements.
Never again…beware!

When I order one shirt, upon arrival it did not fit properly. The material felt cheap like raw.
I tried to return it and was told to take pictures and send them in for review. I sent the pictures in and was told to return the shirt it would cost between 35 to 40 dollars, All I want to do was make a simple return, I was given the option to take a 10 percent discount or option two, select any other item at same cost, with free shipping and to keep the shirt, Well that sounded like a reasonable option, Does anyone know where Clarkson Fashion NYC is located, I think it's in the UK My advise do not order from this company

I purchaed two shirts online from the Clarkson NYC store. Product arrived weeks past the promissed date and was made of cheap, scratchy material that did not match the photos and was not wrinkle free (as advertised) even after two washes. The return policy is overly complex requiring customs fees to ship the merchandise back to China (where it was shipped from) with no guarantee of a refund until it passed an "inspection". Their package tracking service went dark shortly after the expected delivery date was missed adding to the frustration. This is clearly a direct with China interaction and completely unlike dealing with U.S online retailers with reliable and simple return policies. There is no physical store located in the U.S. and no phone number listed to make contact with questions or concerns. Avoid this retailer at all costs.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!! The product is cheap and terrible! Customer service is the worst i have ever experienced...they don't have one.
Read the return policy! If that doesn't scare you, nothing will.

I made the mistake of trusting the picture of the product in the company’s ad. The actual product is incredibly cheap and shoddy. Not worth a tenth of what I paid.

Shitty ass company. Do not buy!!!! Got short for wedding. Was shipped 2 weeks late. Way too big. Tried to charge me $40 to return. DO NOT BUY

Poor quality, clothing inaccurate sizing and horrible return policy. The return has to be done through their original shipper, which is not a US shipping company, you can’t even find a location to send it back. You have to pay for it, then you have to pay the taxes when it arrives back in China. This whole established in 1999 thing is bullshit.
It is not a US based company. It is crap clothing with a return policy. That is a serious deterrent to ever getting your money back.

I purchased an outfit, when it finally got here it was too big and the material was flimsy. I tried to return, however even after emailing saying it was too big they wouldn't let me return. Telling me that I could order something else and only be charged the shipping fee.
I don't want something that doesn't fit or isn't comfortable on my skin. (scratchy material)

Clarkson is a scam from China. I ordered one XL long sleeve shirt from them. Not only was the quality terrible but the sizing was not close. The shirt looked like it might fit a short child.

Clarkson-Toronto, now ClarksonToronto is a scam. They advertise themselves as a Toronto business but they are a direct from China business. They offer a money back guarantee, but expect the customer to pay shipping and customs fees to their warehouse in China. I bought 3 shirts which looked good online. when the products arrived they were very cheap, stiff polyester. I started the return process and they've been giving me the run around, offering replacement items, 15% money back to keep them, and really just a complete hassle. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY they are lying on their website

They deserve a "0", but 1 star is as low as it gets. They sell low quality merch at inflated prices. If you want an outright refund, you are required to send the item back to mainland China(!) AND pay a customs fee. The shipping label on my package clearly showed it shipped to me from Jamaica, NY... not China. I have never seen such an onerous return policy. I am in the vicinity of their NY location a couple times a month and offered to drop it off IN PERSON and they refused. The return policy is clearly designed so that you will take one of their offers to take another item of equal or lesser value at a discounted price with free shipping... so then you will have 2 pieces of junk and they still make a profit. This is clearly a predatory practice. Additionally, over the course of a week's worth of back-and-forth emails they went dark (emails bounced back as undeliverable and website gone) only to reappear a few days later with a subtlety changed name and email address. These guys are total scammers.

The product (men's shirt), was of cheap fabric and poor fit. I wanted to return, but their return policy is impossible, requiring so many hoops to jump through and requiring that I pay all return costs, including customs fees, to CHINA. The shirt cost $50, expense of returning would cost about $60. This company is the WORST. If I could give less than 1 star, I would. AVOID THEM.

I recently bought a shirt from Clarkson. The website advertises “maximum flexibility,” “wrinkle free,” “money-back guarantee,” and a “trusted Canadian brand.” Sadly, there is absolutely no stretch in the material, I can’t get the creases out (after four washes and light ironing), and they said returning the shirt would cost $35-55 plus custom fees (and I live in Canada). Eventually, they offered to give me another shirt instead of refunding the old one (which is kind), but the new shirt is just as stiff and wrinkled. I am shocked by the false advertising.

This is indeed a scam. I bought two shirts. They were supposed to be small but were actually different sizes and one I could not get over my head. They were also supposed to be Wilson. There was no label, as they weren't branded. The material was oof poor quality and the workmanship was shoddy.
The suggest they accept returns, but they wanted me to pay customs and shipping to China, when I bought the items from Toronto (or thought I did).
See the posting elswhere on the web, to the effect that this is a scam. I am worried that they have my credit card information.
Avoid Clarkson Toronto at all cost.

Complete scam - misleading advertising
Cotton shirts displayed - polyester shirts shipped
Stay away - impossibly difficult return policy that just forces you to give up

Police should be involved and I intend to report them

This isn't a New York company; it is a China based rip-off joint. I can't believe that I fell for it. The Shirt I bought took forever to ship from China. It finally got here and is supposed to be a large and I don't even think it would qualify for a SMALL! Besides being the wrong size, it doesn't even look at all like the picture of what I ordered. Sure you can return it but you have to ship it back to China and pay the $15-$20 import fee. This is a total sham and scam! Buyer be aware.

Ordered two shirts — sizing was way off. Their “solution”? Pay $35–$55 plus customs to return them, or pay $19.95 more for a replacement and keep the wrong items.

This isn’t customer service — it’s a paywall to fix their mistake. Misleading sizing + predatory return policy = never again.

I won’t be buying from them, and I’d warn anyone else to think twice before handing over your money.

This is a total scam! The clothing item did not look anything like the advertised product. Very poorly made, cheap fabric and very bad fit. It is made in China and that says it all! The company has unethical business practices and it is very costly to return products. I would give them -5 stars if I could. Stay away, they sell very poor quality clothing very expensively.

A total scam!!!! 😡…I would add negative stars if I could. Bought 3 shirts which I would, admit were delivered in a timely fashion but they were 2-3 sizes too small. As I do like the shirts I’ve been trying to reach out to them to possibly exchange but no web site, contact info or means of contact. Why is this site even still allowed to advertise products.
