I was completely unaware of this company's ethics when I made my purchase but like the other reviews I have received awful communication. My shirt arrived, it was much larger than the medium I ordered and certainly did not look anything like the cut shown in their product photos. I simply wanted an exchange only to find out that I would need to incur customs and shipping charges to what appears to be the UK (based on the company's FAQ) . I started to suspect a scam when I received an email that they had suddenly changed their email address and accordingly their website address. Then I found the following article (Trustpilot will not allow links)...just google clarkson-toronto scams and it will bring you to malwaretips.

Avoid! Cheap fabric, no brand label or laundry instructions, the XL shirt I received (straight from China) was a Small at best and may just about fit a 10-year old. Lesson learned.

This company's website indicated a bricks and mortar location in Toronto. I read reviews. It all looked legit. I was tracking my $80 cdn purchase and then everything disappeared... no website to be found, no email. A total scam.

I recently bought 2 shirts ( George | Essential Premium shirt )that were on sale. Delivery took longer than expected and when i got them i took them from the packaging to see the product and noticed that they were badly creased.Seeing this i looked for the the labels showing where this was made ,what material was used and laundry instructions however there were none. Sensing that this material was of a Rayon nature i decided to hand wash and hang dry to see if i could eliminate the creases. Since the ad on Instagram said these were wrinkle free i was quite disappointed that they were far from that !! In fact they are more or less something that you would get from a dollar store.
I would suggest you be careful when considering these people

What's lower than ONE star? That's how I rate Clarkson-Toronto. I am so disappointed. It's supposed to be a Toronto, Canada based company. BUT I guess not. Why didn't I read reviews???
When I opened my purchases, I found that the fabric, design and sizing are all horrible, cheap and sleazy. NOT at all like the photos and description on FB. Surprise!!! :-(
When I wrote to customer service asking how to go about returning the items, I immediately received a very pleasant, promising email response. BUT when I replied to that email, the message I received was: "Address not found
Your message wasn't delivered to XXXXXX because the domain clarkson-toronto.com couldn't be found." So now I have no way of ever resolving this issue OR ever getting my ill-advisedly spent money back. Lesson learned!

Total complete crap. The whole experience was a disaster. There is no”New York”. It’s sent from China and the company’s website address is no longer to be found. Live and learn. I’m tossing this outfit in trash — it’s too cheap looking to even be donated.

The garment came directly from china. It took over two weeks to arrive .Upon opening the package, the Wilson long sleeve polo had no manufacturing (No name Clarkson or anything else .It is thin with poor stiching . Cannot reach Clarkson the links to them do not work.SCAM

HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE - cheap, polyester clothing. The XL fits for MAYBE a small, took forever to get here.

As others have said, this is NOT a Canadian company. Cheap Chinese crap.

Just sum it up in two words. Pure crap. Don’t waste your money, what you see on Facebook advertising in no way represents what they send you. Size is wrong, material is super cheap crap, and it looks like something worn in a third world country. This is a scam, don’t fall for it like I did.

Sooo bad, cheap rayon like material, took 20 days to get here, Customer service offered 50% off for me to keep it, or a refund after I ship it back at my expense, but they will not send a refund for 30 days after they receive it at their end making it prudent to pay the extra to require a signature at the other end. THIS IS A CHINA CHEAP CRAP STORE with a Canadian name. Seriously wish I'd seen these reviews before I spent the money.

Thought I was buying a Quality product from a Quality company in NY, that was made in the USA! Nope!! Very deceptive on their products from China! Prodout is JUNK! Shipping took forever. Now I know why. Don't buy here!!!

Scam. I ordered a men’s sweater…it took a long time to arrive. The colour was different than illustrated. Quality very cheap feeling. No labels or tags on the garment. Very cheap made in china garbage. When I asked for a refund was told $35-55 restock fee. Will donate it vs throw out.

This is definitely a scam. The item purchased was extremely poor quality and the sizing was totally incorrect. Like other purchasers I wish now I had done a little research before purchasing. The money back guarantee is also a scam. It would cost almost as much to return it as the product itself. Lesson learned!

As with the other reviewers, I wish I had read this first. The website says it’s a Canadian company founded in the heart of Toronto in 2008. WRONG. As others have said, the quality is inferior, the dress was pretty much see through. Shipping and customs would have cost me more than I paid for the items. Way at the bottom of their return policy is the fact that one will have to pay shipping and customs tax. When they send the shipping form, the mailing address is CHINA, not the heart of Toronto.

Clothing cheap and the wrong size. Their large size is a medium. Clothes look great on FB advertising (surprise!). As others have said, I should have done more due diligence. Unlike reputable companies, their return policy is abysmal. Purchaser has to pay to return item to CHINA with the same no name delivery service than delivered the item. No response to email. STAY AWAY!

Scam…I wish I had been more diligent and found these reviews before placing order. Dress ordered just horrible and quality so so bad. Not with returning as I’m not willing to put another penny into this. Lesson learned the hard way!

Product quality is very poor. I thought I was buying a product direct from New York, wrong. It took over 30 days from purchase date until I received the product. Too my surprise, it came from China.
After receiving the product I immediately asked for a refund. They told me return shipping fees will cost me $25-$40 plus Custom Fees. They did their best to get me to keep the product with a 10% refund, discount on another purchase. I refused. This company is a SCAM.
