Having ordered many times I recently received 2 summer shirts which, labeled as "XL" I could not even fit over my head. Contacted Clarkson and they offered me a 10% refund on the items, and I could keep the shirts (which don't fit). They also offered to send another shipment but an additional $22 for shipping. So.... order two more shirts that may not fit and pay an additional $22. I told them to send another batch (which will prob be too small) and eat the loss. DO NOT BUY from these hucksters. Their claim of easy returns is a FU to customers. Your choice

I also got scammed into purchasing their low quality junk. I complained to my credit card company. They reached out to Clarkson NYC repeatedly and got no response. So they credit me the $80. That was a year ago and I have been receiving five threatening emails a day to turn me over to a collection agency. I contacted the collection agency and they do not do business with Clarkson because they are a scam company. Unfortunately, it is impossible to keep them from doing business here in the United States as I see, they do it in Europe in UK and in Germany.

Just realized the charged and collected hundreds of dollars from my debit card for products I never ordered!

The same scam, the same company as operates in Germany under "Karlson-Berlin".Just plain fraud.

You advertised a brand name polo shirt "Wilson Brand" which I ordered and paid for. It took over 3 weeks to get a shirt. You sent me a cheap no name brand shirt that had all the labels cut off. You only responded to me after your 30 day return policy - so that is your excuse for not refunding my money. You have never acknowledged that you sent me a cheap no name brand shirt instead of the Wilson brand as advertised. You asked me to be honest in my comments and I expect the same honesty in return. You have not done that so the only conclusion I can come to, is that your company is a scam/fraud.

they do not deliver. I've been waiting for my order for more than 2 months. They promised to resend and did not. When you ask for a refund they want to deduct $15 as cost. It is a scam. Avoid

The cheapest ugly shirt I have bought in my life very difficult to try to return and making it almost impossible and $59 shipping to return a $69 shirt. What a joke do not buy anything from this place.

Damn - why did I not read the reviews. I too was scammed. A rubbish pair of sandles were sent. When I followed up they said to pick a different pair and they'd post. LIES - all LIES.

Product was not like i ordered. Emailed to return and no response, even though stated had good return policy.

I wish I had read these reviews before I purchased from “Clarkson-Melbourne”, (not Melbourne) the shirt I received was terrible and returns are impossible- multiple emails and then you are supposed to send it to China and pay courier and customs costs - Im not throwing good money after bad so just had to throw the awful shirt in the bin and move on!! ALWAYS READ REVIEWS BEFORE YOU BUY!!

We ordered 2 shirts from this company. They arrived without tags and there was no label on the shirts. They were wrinkled and appeared to be used. Each shirt was over $50. They do not do refunds unless you're willing to pay for the shipping to China and the custom fees. They do not have a place in the US to ship to even though the shipment came from IL. It's a fake company. DO NOT buy from Clarkson NY!

Shocking company
Shirts ordered were nothing like the photographs. Dreadful material, poorly made and just awful
Scammed by this company and the return process would cost $90 with little chance of monies back. Begrudgingly I accepted 35% back to cut my losses

Appalling quality. Poor service and after going through their list of requirements the 30 days are up to get a refund. The clothes are of such poor quality after paying $100s I threw them in the bin. I could not send them to an op shop, they were disgusting.

This store is not based in Melbourne as it claims — it’s a scam operation selling cheap, poor-quality products that look nothing like the photos. The items I received were disgusting, badly made, and completely unusable. When I tried to return them, I was told refunds weren’t possible, and every response I got was robotic and unhelpful.

Please avoid this store at all costs. It’s misleading, unethical, and clearly set up to take people’s money without accountability. Do not give them your business or support — save yourself the frustration and disappointment.

I ordered 3 pullover shirts from Clarkston NYC and quickly noted from the shipping courier the product was coming from CHINA! I sent a email to Clarkston NYC stating my concern that the product was coming from China vs NY. I received a email back stating no worries, they guarantee that the product was of a High Standard….well I received the shirts and upon inspection and trying them on noted the following:
1) Shirts are not of the same materials noted on the website
2) Sleeves are not of the same length
3) Sleeve stitching is not of the same as shirt pictured on the website.

As many of you have stated after contacting Clarkston NYC I got the same run around about the return process! I have contacted my Credit Card company a filed. dispute based on Fraud!
DO NOT Order from this company they are a SCAM and need to be Shutdown.

This company is a scam.. don’t buy from them !!!!!!!!! They market as an nyc company with quality items but you quickly find out merchandise is cheap and ships from China. They are cheap Chinese shirts and there is no one to talk to .. it is all AI. And they don’t clearly tell you that you have to pay to return shirts to CHINA. Stay away …. SCAM !!!!

Absolute scam of a company. They will find anyway to not accept a return. DON NOT BUY FROM THEM!!!!!!

Order 3 button down shirts. They were terrible quality - odd sizing (length and width didn't match) and poor quality and terrible cuts. I immediately tried to return. It took 15 emails, where they were clearly giving the run around, offering rebates, partial refunds, made me unpackage all shirts, demanded more pictures, repeated the same requests - finally they offered a full refund and I could donate the clothes (no need to return) then denied the refund. Then demanded I pay return custom duties and use the same courier. Total fraud.

Looks good on line it is utter junk. No refunds.
