They sent out stroppy emails to people that ordered even to people like me who hadn't pestered at all as I knew they were behind in fulfilling orders. The fact they continue to take more orders is unethical. They then cancelled my order with just a unforseen circumstances email no apology after 10 weeks of waiting. Terrible company charlatans !! Awful company
Awful company. Ordered on the 1st September and had no updates on delivery, I emailed in October to ask about an estimated delivery date. Was told that they can’t say when as they don’t even have the stock but I continued to wait as I wanted my order. Then today 2nd November I’ve received an email cancelling my order with no explanation or apology. Tried emailing them and it bounces back each time. So unprofessional
Unscrupulous company
I ordered in August. I received multiple emails stating that there were delays. I was fine with this. They then added more promotions but hadn't fulfilled my order from August so i didnt engage in the emails or offers. I have received an email today saying that i have been refunded for the full order and it has been cancelled. No explanation or anything.
If it sounds too good to be true then in this case... it defo was!
Scam company, poor customer service, defensive replies
No order recieved, they cancelled it and I ordered at the start of September. I don't get why they are promoting their deals on tik tok when they can't send orders. Awful replies on email which are defensive, obnoxious and rude, dont buy!!!!
Order cancelled after 2 months waiting
I ordered on the 2nd of September after seeing them on Tiktok. I waited over a month before contacting them and was told there was delays due to going viral. Figured I would just wait it out. Today 2 months after I ordered I received an email that my order was cancelled completely out of the blue with no warning or anything. Waiting to see if I get my refund. Is it a scam or is it just a poorly run business? I don’t know but it sucks

I ordered a mystery jeans box at the start of September to be dispatched mid-September. When it had not yet been dispatched, I emailed the company who told me that my preference of jeans weren’t in stock. I was happy to wait for my order but whilst waiting, the company continued to send out promotions and deals on mystery boxes, when they couldn’t fulfil the orders they already had. After 2 months of waiting, my order has been cancelled & refunded out of nowhere, with no explanation.
I really like the premise of this company, it is just poorly managed. Avoid unless you’re happy to wait a long time to (potentially) receive your order.
Waste of time
After waiting months for my mystery box, and numerous email correspondance from someone named Bethany my order was randomly cancelled, so I tried emailing back from the already exisiting email chain, and the email bounced back saying it didnt exist! I understand they're a small business trying to fufill loads of orders, but if you have that probelm, stop accepting new orders before you can fufill the others, give yourself a chance to catch up and stop sending obnoxious sounding emails.

This company is a false idea at a positive ethos. I have ordered from here twice the first time my order took 6 months to arrive and sadly didn’t fit when it got here. However my second order placed a month ago has just been CANCELLED out of no where. No warning or email. Quite frankly i find this rude as they couldn’t communicate why they did it as well as give no compensation
Cancelled order
Placed an order on the 12th of October, and followed up a few weeks later as I hadn't spotted the shipping delays banner on the site. To which Maxine responded:
"Your items are in stock; you're just waiting for our lovely two-person packing team to work through deliveries, pick your items, package them, and place them ready for Evri to collect.
We work from oldest to newest for each product but please find solace in the fact that your order will be with you ASAP."
Today (24 days later) I have received a email to say my order has been cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances.
Very disappointed that I didn't get the items, as I was more than willing to wait seeing as it's a small business.
Cancelled my order after months of waiting
I ordered months ago from this company - I had seen their many many emails about how ordered would come eventually etc so I didn't bother them about my order just waited patiently for it.
This morning I got an email from them that my order had been cancelled and refunded at my request - this is NOT true I did not request this. I tried to email them on the email address they have listed on their website and the email won't deliver as the address wasn't at the destination domain.
They complain about people complaining that their orders are late but then cancel orders where people are happy to wait for it? Really bad business
Highly disorganised business
Ordered the mystery Levi’s from this business in April and finally received my parcel at the start of October. You could request certain things with your order which I understand can’t always be fulfilled but I only requested one thing and that was for them to be high waisted and they’re not. They also said they’d take care to make sure you receive your size considering they’re vintage jeans so likely to run smaller, which they also haven’t done. I feel like they’ve just rushed to get orders out. I’ve emailed but had no response.
Also offering discount codes for positive reviews seems slightly unethical.

First of I would like to say that I don't believe this company are 'scam artists' or a bad business just possibly taken on more than they can handle.
I ordered a vintage mystery box with blazer, jumper and a pair of jeans. I left a note on my order to ask if it would be possible to have a t-shirt or another jumper in place of the blazer as I do not wear them. I waited around 3 months for my order to arrive, which I understood due to the small size of the company (so not a complaint ). I was a little disappointed when my order came, I received a blazer.
I think the idea of the business is great, I just think that they have taken on way too many orders than they can keep up with and sadly this is having a bad effect on the way people view the company. I also feel that it possibly wasn't the best thing to send out more and more advertisment emails for new products when they're still struggling to get old orders out.
Overall I am not slagging the company at all, I think with a little more work they will be great and overall wasn't a bad experience. I might even leave it a few weeks and order again if things pick up.
The worst!
The worst!! I ordered a vintage mystery Levi box in July. I realised very quickly I ordered the wrong size and emailed them and they replied and said they’d add it to my notes. 3 months later and the finally arrived after sending 10 emails and messaging on Instagram and TikTok. (They deleted the messages on TikTok) they sent me an email saying they didn’t have my size then after 3 months so I ordered a long high waisted item to compensate. I eventually got my item in the most roughed up package. They sent me a fake pair of Levi’s in the wrong size and so low waist. So low waist I could see my C section scar 😂 after emailing them, they took no responsibility and blamed it on the fact they were a small business. I understand they are a small business but that doesn’t excuse it. Stop blaming stuff on being a small business!! Sold the fake jeans on Vinted for £5 as they wouldn’t refund me.

Love Clothes before bros. I got a wicked pair of Levis and Wranglers. Very happy with my order and will buy again. I did wait a while for delivery but I appreciate the team are busy and was impressed with how much communication they gave. I did speak to a lady called Maxine who was so lovely, really helpful. Looking forward to my next box. Ive spotted they're now doing vintage accessories which is right up my street
Overall a positive experience
I want to preface this by saying I never actually received my mystery box HOWEVER I would still say my experience with CBB was positive and once their supply issue are resolved I would be interested in ordering from them as I love supporting small businesses.
I originally ordered a vintage designer blazer and an “essentials” mystery box on the 6th of July (order #3502). An email was sent out regarding delays and I decided to bare with CBB as I still wanted the products, however at the end of august (28th) after not hearing anything for a while I reached out, I received a response back on the 19th of September after chasing by the email again on the 17th. I spoke to Maxine who informed me they were experience supply issues with the jumpers that form part of the essentials box and she couldn’t give me an ETA on when I could expect my parcel. Again, I decided to hang in there, however after I saw the email asking for positive reviews in exchange for 50% off I decided enough was enough and requested a refund on the 13th of October which I received confirmation of on the 14th and the money was back in my account the same day.
While I don’t at all believe CBB is a scam - I think it’s just a small business that’s growth in popularity has exceeded its supply capabilities - I think some of the communication on delays could have been more detailed and sympathetic (however the horrible messages were at no point acceptable). I also think offering 50% for positive reviews discredits the brand and as such I won’t be taking the offer up - this is my genuine review of my experience and I don’t need a pay off for it and it is ultimately what made me opt for a refund as reviews are there for a reason.
I wish Laura and the team the best of luck for the future with CBB and hopefully I will be able to order again once some of the supply issues have been resolved.

So I ordered a mystery box back in 30/08/22
I received my confirmation email shortly after

I received a reply stating that they had stock issues and that my particular size was out of stock (bare in mind my only preference was to NOT have skinny jeans) which I found odd as why sell something you haven’t got the stock for ?
Anyway so I understood as I wanted to support the business , but I waited again and by this point a month had gone by and still nothing
Yet I was sent tonnes of new product emails as well as reduced product emails , which agitated me a little
It wasn’t until the other day (6 weeks had past) that I decided I was done waiting and requested a refund , which was the only quick thing about this whole experience as I had an email the next day saying it’s been processed.
I just find the communication poor, unless they want to promote something, and insane that someone would be selling something they don’t even have the stock for ?
I wouldn’t say it’s a scam, just a poorly ran business

Ordered a mystery box months ago, I have asked numerous times for an update on my order and then a refund and all I receive is promo emails asking me to waste more money and emails from the owner complaining about people leaving bad reviews when they don’t get their items. Maybe stop taking peoples money if you are unable to fill orders. Still yet to receive my refund and no sign of my order, don’t waste your money
